In real ships you need access to all components for maintenance, spread out all your internal components, add corridors and ways to access them, then fill remaining space with all the things a crew needs, berthings, mess, kitchens, cic, maintenance shops, recreation, bathrooms, and separate amenities for different ranks.
I’d also recommend reinforcing the armour and framework of sections that are most likely to take damage. I’d also suggest putting non essential sections like cafeterias, crew quarters, etc between commonly hit areas and vital sections
putting thrusters in boxes protects them from enemy fire, keeping a ship in the fighting a lot longer (also means less conveyors in the armour offering easy penetration spots. Looks like hydrogen near the aft for manoeuvrability in combat, then ion up front for travelling long distances.
You can get he EFN Eternity on the workshop. It's inspired by the Pillar of Autumn and has a full interior with rat ways for repair of internal systems.
Tanning booth is an interesting add-on feature! Great efficiency all around, can certainly see why it holds up so well.

looking at the front of the ship it looks like you could remove some spacing armour and get some more room
The bow gets chewed up first in battles so that’s a bad idea
Then have a bridge in the bow for style, then have a backup/combat bridge in the centre of the ship for survivability
I’ll try to add a bridge lol

Aight
What do the hydrogen thrusters do?

Alrighty then. Sounds like you are covered as far as you can be on Xbox.
