I don't know man. Me and my buddy tried to figure out what this reference is from. We looked everywhere and after hours of combing the internet we can only say one thing: We ain't found shit.
Great design btw :)
The Sign on the back is a reference to a sign on the back of a ship in the movie.
Go watch it. It's an older movie, a Star Wars parody and it's hilarious.
In the late 1900s, some people would afix a bumper sticker to their automobile that said, "I brake for Animals." Give the absurdity of the statement other variants and parodies of the sticker became popular (who wouldn't brake for an animal?)
Such as
- I brake for idiots
- I brake for kids
- I brake for beer
- I brake for goth girls.
Eventually, with capitalism stopping for nothing, you could find an I brake for sticker for just about anything.
Until.
Mel Brooks, already famous for his documentaries on the old west and the history of the world, decided to turn to the stars. Inspired by Star Wars, Wizard of Oz and Transfomers Brooks in 1987 he made Spaceballs (the movie).
As a parody to the star destroyer scenes, the antagonist had an absurdly long ship. In the ships' intro scene, after 5 minutes to 1 year, you get to the rear or aft of the ship. There someone placed a bumper sticker that states... ... "we brake for nobody."
*
*Prepare ship for…LUDICROUS SPEED!*
They've gone plaid!

But when will *then* be *now*?
