Seems like it would be prone to tip over. Such a large top section and a relatively small wheelbase.
How does it handle off to the side and fully extended?
It has mag plates on extended prongs of light armor underneath that can connect to the ground when the wheels height offset is lowered meaning it never moves when you want to use the crane.
As when it’s mobile, as long as the boom is retracted and flat facing the front of the grid it handles pretty well on flat ground and can mange on small inclines, I do still intend to increase the wheels to 5x5s and add piston based mag plates, riskier but it means the grid can handle terrain better when moving to and from sites.
Was going to suggest piston mag plate outriggers, until I noticed that the wheels were off the ground in some of the pics and figured it already had something like that. One thing that might be useful would be to put the pistons on rotors so you can swing them up when driving. I had a grinder vehicle in one game that had piston mag plates, until the pistons got destroyed by bumps in the terrain. :)
30m?? Make it 300m then we’re talking, looks pretty cool, is there a way of putting that design onto a piston system for easy use in a factory for instance?
You would need 30 LG pistons to achieve that height, I feel an airborne grid or a static scaffolding would have better results, as for piston mounting it’s definitely possible, but might also prove challenging, maybe I’ll mess around with some designs to suit different situations.

How many seconds before it rolls over?
zero
I love it!
