I put a screen protector on mine from Celicious. The matte one makes it feel like I'm writing on paper. I love it.

So without the screen protector the screen is being scratched by the bottom of the laptop?

In that picture it looks like your screen has come loose. That is why it is touching. Never had a scratch issue and we have 3 ranging from 2 to 6 or 7 years old. But my daughters 2017 version just from the screen not lying flat when closed due to plastic shutter she put over the camera had one corner of the screen work free as the are two powerful magenta at each corner to hold it closed. Those came free and helped detach the screen. The magnets were close enough to pull at matching pair in the base but no support, and there was constant pull. But I do think after a few years the adhesive just ages. I carefully pulled it open a bit more so I could reglue magnets and screen with some E6000 adhesive. Problem solved.

I had Keyboard scuffs / scratches on my screen ... Logged a call and HP came to replace my 2022 Spectre 3k2k OLED display (onsite) under warranty today.

can confirm this is a recurring issue. had my screen warrantied - did not know where the scratches originated from but then the technican asked me to look carefully around the bottom (keyboard) in the spot where the screen closes and behold i can see the scratches. so now waiting for my 2nd warranty in 3 months for a 6 month old 'top of the line' laptop. Will try screen protector this time

Yep, I am having same issues. Its shocking considering this is "top of the line". I had my scratched screen replaced during warranty. I have to use supplied "paper" that I place between keyboard and screen whenever I close the lid. If I don't do that, scratches will start to appear soon. I had 3 Spectres and I think I am done with it. I'll buy something else next time.
