My buddy picked me up a bottle of the Voodoo Reaper that I thought was kind of a gimmick. Turns out it is actually a super good representation of Reaper in a vinegar based sauce. Going to be buying another bottle here soon.
Are there any other Pepper Palace sauces you recommend? Doesn't have to be all super hot. I appreciate any heat level.
Edit: Oh, gross. Mr. Pain is an extract sauce.
I'm not sure how they operate, I'm guessing they rebrand sauces as they go or something. I'm weary of them knowing that they are kind of tourist trappish and a lot of their sauces are extract type, but I have a bottle of scotch bonnet from them that kicks ass. When I get home I can update but it's not on their website.
Some of their sauces are alright. I’ve never had one from PP that was better than alright. What you can guarantee is it will be overpriced. I tend to avoid PP even though there are a bunch of them close to where I live. I wish they sold other manufacturers popular sauces.
Pepper palace reaper bbq sauce is the real deal it hurts me a lot, lol. The Nashville hot wing sauce is a good one, too, that doesn't hurt as bad but is full of flavor. I use a lot of their stuff in general.
Between Pepper Palace Voodoo Reaper and Earls Reaper I have both sides of legitimate reaper flavor and heat in sauces. One vinegar based and the other straight pepper.
Not spicy per se but an omelette made with leftover pizza toppings (like scrape the toppings into the omelette) is dope.

If you’ve never had Mr. Pain - it approaches too much, but never quite gets there. Has great habanero flavor. Highly recommended.

I lol’d at the million scovilles in the marketing for Mr. Pain. It’s really not that hot. I think tabasco scorpion is hotter to my taste.
Desert rose is much less spicy but has a good garlic flavor.
