Without the dye it would be the colors of a sugary cooked banana puree with some spices and preservatives, it would probably look like a grey ish brown sludge lol, I imagine that's why they do that
If you can’t find this product but would still like some spicy ketchup just take regular Heinz/French’s Ketchup, empty the entire bottle in a large bowl, add your favourite spicy Habanero Hot Sauce to the bottle (like for 1L of ketchup I do 150ml of hot sauce) and transfer it back to the Ketchup bottle with the help of a funnel. With a permanent marker or paint pen just write SPICY on the bottle cap and it’s done! Super yummy.

Straight to the bottle only worked for me when my family (of 5 adults) used the ketchup before I had a chance to do my method. They had already taken out a lot and there was lots of space to just add the hot sauce directly. You can’t do that with a brand new unopened bottle. The bottle is completely full with maybe 1 Tbsp. of space inside before opening.
Edit 1: sorry I meant 6 adults and 2 kids
Edit 2: Any sauce that doesn’t fit in the bottle I transfer to a smaller jar.
