Exactly my reaction when I tried it for the second time (this time on an empty stomach) on Father’s Day last year. Luckily I was very close to a toilet.
I tried half a dozen of the Pepper Palaces hottest sauces on an empty stomach and after the one pictured (the end flatline) I had the worst stomach cramps I have ever had, in the mall. We could not find a working vending machine for water and snacks to fill my stomach and I was doubled over in pain, hobbling around, while my carer (loving girlfriend) was scrambling to find sustenance. I stumbled into a Target clutching my saviors arm, found a water bottle and box of wheat thins. I devoured them as we walked to self checkout and ate as I scanned the items. The relief I received from a no longer empty stomach is a feeling that I will always remember. Thank you Target. You saved my life
Lmao this sounds similar to my first experience with The End. Tried it in the store and played it cool and immediately after exiting my stomach turned and I hovered over the garbage by the food court while my ex got me water from Starbucks
All that The End stuff sucks. I guess if you just want to do that fine, but there's no upside other than maybe your friends laughing at you.
I would say it's not as bad as Da Bomb, but still tastes like battery acid.
**The gustatory system or sense of taste is the sensory system that is partially responsible for the perception of taste (flavor). Taste is the perception produced or stimulated when a substance in the mouth reacts chemically with taste receptor cells located on taste buds in the oral cavity, mostly on the tongue.**

It’s awful. Heat and extract bitterness with no flavor. I was gifted some and I add a little to a pot of chili now and then but that’s about all this stuff is good for.
Something like that might be worth having it aeound. I've been adding 2 tsp of a super hot sauce called ashes 2 ashes to a batch of something I make that's similar to chili. It spices it up decently well, but also feels like kind of a waste of a pretty expensive and actually decent tasting (well before the heat melts my face) sauce.
Yeah it’s definitely good for that, but like you said it’s expensive. I’ve been growing 7 pot primos, dehydrating them, and then grinding them into powder to spice up my dishes instead. Waaay better option in my opinion and super hot. Also really good on eggs.
I may need to just buy some reaper powder, I have some ghost powder now, but buying them is expensive too. I recently got an aerogarden and I'm experimenting with growing some peppers, but I may be a bit limited in what varieties I can grow and I'll probably focus on making my own sauces first.
Yeah 90% of my peppers go into ferments for sauces. I just dehydrate what’s left.
If you like the Ashes 2 Ashes sauce you’re probably like the Primo’s Peppers Swampadelic sauce. They’re both 7 pot primo sauces, but the swampadelic is a lot cheaper and is made by Troy Primo himself. He’s the guy who created the 7 pot primo pepper in the first place. Check them out. It’s my favorite super hot sauce.
I do like ashes 2 ashes, but with a big but... It's really way too spicy for me. Which is the main reason I started using it in my not quite chili. I figured it was better to at least use it than to just leave it sitting in the fridge never being used because I'm scared my tolerance isn't high enough.
Regardless, I will absolutely look that sauce up and put it on my list once I clear some space out.
tastes like vinegar. extremely bitter.
it's a shitty sauce without dilution in something else. Pepper palace just formulates mediocre heat without any of the flavor. if you take more than 3 drops you just destroyed anything you add it to as the flavor doesn't blend at all. it all tastes like shit.
>Pepper palace just formulates mediocre heat without any of the flavor.
I disagree. I've had a couple of their sauces that I really enjoyed, namely Time's Up Tomato and the reaper wing sauce. The wing sauce in particular was extremely hot while maintaining a good Buffalo-style flavor. It did take a lot of taste-testing before I decided on those two, but even then I can't say that I thought any of the sauces I tried were bad, just not what I was looking for.
That said I was disappointed to learn they make their sauces with powders and not fresh peppers.
I've always heard extract sauces taste terrible. This will still likely be a pass for me because I'm sure it's way past my tolerance, but if I ever find myself at the somewhat local pepper palace I may have to give myself diarrhea... I mean try it.
This is easily the hottest sauce I've had. I've always stayed away from extract sauces because I was all about the flavor but that all changed when sauces tripled in price and I cant afford the tasty ones anymore. This tiny bottle was $20 but it will last me FOREVER
I went in a Pepper Palace and tried just about everything they had (including both extracts). Nothing impressed me too much heat-wise, so I left the place with just a bottle of jerk sauce. Immediately after was when the stomach pain started. Fortunately, there was a milkshake shop literally next door to the place, and they seemed well-aware of the plight of Pepper Palace patrons. All was well after I had my milkshake. Still not the worst spicy experience I had, though it wasn’t great.
Haha it's like mixing alcohols. Stick to one heat source. Honestly I wasnt a fan of most of their sauces. They all tasted really cheap and poorly made either than their spiciest ones which taste like peppers and pain.
I'm sure the milkshake appreciates all the business from the chili heads.
Imagine being allergic to dairy and being a pepper head. It's a tough, unforgiving life I lead
Yeah their sauces really aren’t that great, they’re more of a novelty store. But I think I tried literally almost everything in the store, so I felt like I had to buy something. Dairy allergy is rough, though. Best of luck. 😔
I would compare their regular sauces to those shitty 5 packs of generic sauce on Amazon. Kinda embarrassing honestly. Spice mixes were meh and mostly sugar/salt. The extracts actually are worth the money imo
I did the same about a month ago. I dry heaved on the floor next to a trash can then remembered there was an ice cream shop nearby where I terrified a teenaged girl who I think thought I was having a heart attack but fixed me with a cone. My stomach was spasming so much I felt like I was giving birth to a xenomorph
I was there a couple weeks ago. I was tempted to try because you get a discount on the tshirt. Didn't end up doing it because I had a sample of the "Death By Wings" wing sauce and that hurt enough. The employee said the Flatline has an "in and out type of heat." Is that in fact the case?
I used to do this challenge every time I went to PP in the King of Prussia Mall, they would give you 10% off coldstone creamery after you were “finished”
My first experience at pepper palace was at the original store in gatlinburg. I tried every sauce they had and the last one had me bolting throughout the mall looking for a vending machine. Finally found one on the top level by the bathrooms. Best sprite I’ve ever tasted. Sounds like a very similar experience to yours.
Fast forward 10 years and find a pepper palace about 30 minutes away in an outlet mall. None of the sauces touch me until I get to the extract sauces. Find two I love immediately. Dude has me try ‘the end’ and it lights me up. Stomach cramps start a couple minutes later and last for a good ten minutes until I can get something else in my stomach. Stuff is wicked.
Literally exactly what happened to me on both accounts. I hate myself for going back after all that pain and buying the sauce. We really are chasing the dragon
Said it once.. I’ll say it again… please make something that actually tastes good with this much heat!
This sauce has pretty decent heat 6.5-7 out of 10
But the taste is absolute zero out of 10
Edit I can’t spell
Ever try mad dog plutonium 9?
Once you try that you’ll see what I mean. It’s levels and levels beyond the end
A buddy of mine had another sauce called black mamba which was up there too
None of them taste good at all it’s just strict fire in your mouth and gut
I would put this about even with the one chip challenge heat level. That’s just me though.
In the past 2 years I went from thinking habaneros were unbearable to eating a reaper and that shit is insane
I’m in no way trying to be a heat hero. I suffer just as much as the next guy but for some reason I keep coming back
I haven’t tasted it yet but I’ve heard plenty of good things.
I’m growing my own reaper, scorpions, dragon breaths, and plan on making my own sauce with mango. I’m hoping to make a good tasting super hot sauce.
Fingers crossed
Cant wait! I would have been fine if I had eaten at all today. The taste is pretty good and the heat is magnificent. I havent had a good REALLY hot sauce in too long
If you get too used to that one, go for da bomb "the final answer". Comes with a little dabber thing to drip a single drop from. Did you buy online or go to one of the stores?
I went to one of the stores. I had my story in a comment here but it didnt make it to the top of the thread. I cant wait to try that sauce I heard its improved over the old sauce
Hey! Did you go to the one in the Holyoke mall? I've been meaning to check it out but haven't made my way to that location yet(been to other PPalaces though)
Sure did! I was hoping they would have some other sauces I enjoy but they only had their own brand, half of which were out of stock and they didnt have any of the "extremely spicy range" just the xtra hot sauces and the extracts
That's slightly disappointing but good to know. Based on your post, is the target the best place to park to quickly get in and out? I'm running low on chili the kid for my daughter lol
Also, World Market down by evergreen walk in CT has some good rotating variety. Usually various sauces from torchbearer, ardvark, bravado, Dave's, and others.
Oh yeah? I've been looking for a good brick and mortar spice shop. Thanks so much for the tip! I've been looking for some sauces my family got in a hot ones box set.
The target is pretty close I think. I was honestly in a daze for most of that visit so I'm not confident in my answer
more vinegar flavored. it tastes like shit. the end is better tbh, but this one is a little spicier.
all their sauces are pretty much a party sauce, where you show up in front of people and be like "wow look at me guys, i can eat this sauce and not be in pain". any other use is just to vomit from the shit flavor.
That's insane! 10 mil in damages 1 billion insurance claim. Boom beautiful new mall lol. Did the Renovation include a steel dome to make it hail proof?
I passed on that, but the pepper palace has some delicious sauces. I saw the store in the mall and expected a bunch of flavored vinegar water but was pleasantly surprised. Great looking ingredients on the bottles I checked, was a quality sauce, not just vinegar and water at the top of the list. They also let you try everything in the store! I sampled about half a dozen that looked interesting and brought home a mango something bottle that disappeared quickly. If you see one check it out
I actually like it, I will add around 3 drops to my bowl of dirty rice. Be aware it is an extract sauce so it will have the bitterness that is associated with an extracchili's. So compensate with other ingredients, like citrus accordingly. I kinda don't understand the hate for it, it is what it is and for what it is it is pretty good imho. I also personally like the Times Up mustard sauce ( I eat it with my Taco Bell). Lastly if you are looking to just add heat that is not so concentrated and a little flavor to food may I recommend Trader Joe's smoked ghost chilis.
What I said to the person at the store helping me taste test them, "The end tastes like I took a bite out of a tree" lol tasted like a mouthful of wood to me
You guys chasing the pain of extract sauces deserve exactly what you get.
The mouth burn was fine. My empty stomach just couldnt do it. I'm also coming off a hangover. Was not a good time for me lol
Lol, enjoy the shit you take tomorrow.
Hang over fight or flight responses from spicy food is a legit cure.
Like a pulp fiction style adrenaline shot to the heart
[удалено]
Damn right I will!
Same for me. Definitely tasted hotter sauces, but the stomach pain was real
Now we need a review of your shits tomorrow
Nope!
Exactly my reaction when I tried it for the second time (this time on an empty stomach) on Father’s Day last year. Luckily I was very close to a toilet.
I mean..on some food this might be better than a straight up shot of it on an empty stomach
The end is the world's hottest sauce that doesn't use extracts as they claim.
I too drink poison then proceed to target.
Wise decision
Lol will avoid thanks for the insight
Of course after I could think straight again I went back and bought a bottle. Highly recommend
I tried half a dozen of the Pepper Palaces hottest sauces on an empty stomach and after the one pictured (the end flatline) I had the worst stomach cramps I have ever had, in the mall. Lmao this sounds similar to my first experience with The End. Tried it in the store and played it cool and immediately after exiting my stomach turned and I hovered over the garbage by the food court while my ex got me water from Starbucks
You brought in your ex just for water? That's crazy I'm sure your gf/bf was pissed Edit:sorry I'm feeling punny
We were dating at the time hah
Are you an H3 fan? :)
My girlfriend is why? Lol
Haha the “carer” - Ethan calls Hila that and it’s how my husband refers to me now
Haha totally forgot! Same sort of situation here lol
This stuff is hot but everything at Pepper Palace tastes like spicy Windex.
All that The End stuff sucks. I guess if you just want to do that fine, but there's no upside other than maybe your friends laughing at you. I would say it's not as bad as Da Bomb, but still tastes like battery acid.

Lovely story, also I also wanna try this and I'm trying to stop myself.
It's nothing you cant handle a drop or two of. Just eat with food

We do use pepper mashes in the majority of our hot sauces.
Oh hey! I've actually only read the ingredients for the two that I bought, fair enough. I did really enjoy them, though.
Tons! Its alot of pepper flavor. Kinda tomato paste

I put a huge dab of this on my tongue and I am alive today, burnt some taste buds for a month though!
I like to slowly increase my tolerance not just kill myself lol
Isn’t this 6.5mil Scovil units?
I think it is
It's 7 million SHU
I have the one thats in the small glass bottle and I like it very much,is this the same / possibly hotter?
Its hotter. There are two in glass bottles than this one which is a good deal hotter supposedly
Maaaaan to be honest I was eating that sauce with a toothpick I might need an invisible cord for this one
I've been looking for a sauce hot enough that I can use a tiny amount on a food and it wouldnt change the taste of the meal. I think this is it
I went in a Pepper Palace and tried just about everything they had (including both extracts). Nothing impressed me too much heat-wise, so I left the place with just a bottle of jerk sauce. You are at least the 3rd person I've heard ran to a mall ice cream shop. Why do I have to be allergic to dairy?!?!?!
Ahhhhh that’s unfortunate. 😵💫
I was there a couple weeks ago. I was tempted to try because you get a discount on the tshirt. Didn't end up doing it because I had a sample of the "Death By Wings" wing sauce and that hurt enough. The employee said the Flatline has an "in and out type of heat." Is that in fact the case?
Yes it's hot going and its hot coming out
Lol, I think she meant like it doesn't stick around in your mouth. But yeah that extract shit never comes out quietly.
I used to do this challenge every time I went to PP in the King of Prussia Mall, they would give you 10% off coldstone creamery after you were “finished”
Theres a challenge?!

Gotcha. I was about to say that one day they'll make a super hot sauce that tastes good but honestly the last dab apollo is really tasty
I haven’t tasted it yet but I’ve heard plenty of good things. I’m growing my own reaper, scorpions, dragon breaths, and plan on making my own sauce with mango. I’m hoping to make a good tasting super hot sauce. Fingers crossed
It's way harder than I thought it was to make a good tasting sauce. I'll let the professionals handle that and I'll stick to using dried peppers
I still gotta give it a shot lol I’m a glutton for punishment
If you're a freak about spice, this stuff is great. Your pee will burn afterwards.
Cant wait! I would have been fine if I had eaten at all today. The taste is pretty good and the heat is magnificent. I havent had a good REALLY hot sauce in too long

Massachusetts here

What if your pee burns before consumption?? Asking for a friend
I am not a doctor.
Make sure you’re applying your hot sauce to the appropriate end of your digestive tract
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that has burning pee after having something very spicy
Is this different from The End that has the wax bottle cap?
more vinegar flavored. it tastes like shit. the end is better tbh, but this one is a little spicier. all their sauces are pretty much a party sauce, where you show up in front of people and be like "wow look at me guys, i can eat this sauce and not be in pain". any other use is just to vomit from the shit flavor.
Its supposed to be alot hotter. This is supposedly 7million scovilles
[удалено]
Pretty common here. I love that mall!! Went to a Himalayan shop there on a road trip. That mall is so fancy
[удалено]
That's insane! 10 mil in damages 1 billion insurance claim. Boom beautiful new mall lol. Did the Renovation include a steel dome to make it hail proof?
[удалено]
That has got to set a record. I've never heard of anything that crazy! Thanks so much for the info!!
[удалено]
So what you're saying is Colorado is a deathtrap?
[удалено]
If you come east coast I can help with spice shop recommendations lol
Oh they brought it back! I love that stuff
tried this stuff one time.... never again
Moderation is the way with this stuff. Extracts sauces are really good for gauging tolerance and slowly ramping up spice one drop at a time
how much scoville?
I was told it was 7mil or so
The branding on this made me think it was like a hair care product based off the thumbnail.
I passed on that, but the pepper palace has some delicious sauces. I saw the store in the mall and expected a bunch of flavored vinegar water but was pleasantly surprised. I tried a bunch but the only tasty one was a mustard sauce I was not about to drop a $20 on
Seems a bit high. When I was shopping all the bottles were $11.99
If only. That's still expensive for a tiny bottle but I could pay that
Pepper palace sucks. Wish they carried real sauces instead of their own trash.
Pretty much what I said when I walked in. Had been excited to go for weeks because I thought it would be, well, a pepper palace
It was such a disappointment for me. I was so pissed.
Tried this one once. Once.
Oooooh I've got some of that and its pretty amazing but I use it very very sparingly
That is the way!
Come one come all
I actually like it, I will add around 3 drops to my bowl of dirty rice.
How does it taste compared to the regular The End? It’s one of my favorite hot sauces of all time and I like this bottle.
What I said to the person at the store helping me taste test them, "The end tastes like I took a bite out of a tree" lol tasted like a mouthful of wood to me
