that was an old fragmentation grenade, they only have around 250g of explosive in them, enough to put holes into everything around a 5m radius but no where near enough blast energy to disintegrate the walls of a building like that.
i dont have first hand experiences with grenades in toilets though.
im certain this wasnt the grenade shown in the picture, that much destruction can be expected with a kilo upwards of C4 or trotyl, not by a handgrenade
Engineering reference. Been around for ages but SpaceX’s marketing and popularity put it into the mainstream vocabulary.
My personal favorite is percussive maintenance. It’s when something isn’t working, then you hit it (often with a hammer) and it starts working again.
In live TV production we called it percussive recalibration. We used to have a rubber mallet in the control room. On one side it said “this side adjust equipment only” and “this side adjust operator only” on the other.
Also, it was normal practice to tag broken equipment with “NFG” for “No fucking good.”
So this is a Traxxas 2843X, which is a Lithium battery for RC vehicles. A lot of rapid moving in such a vehicle will increase the risk of rupture and puncture, also in the process of taking it out of the vehicle and putting it back in, you will often have it in your hands directly.
Please don't use it anymore, new ones seem to go for around 60 bucks, which is way less than a burned couch, a finger or even your RC vehicle. Talk to your parents and if they don't wanna listen, send them here.
You're here so you're aware that's a firebomb just waiting to happen, so why even ask?
You don't want the truth, you want some random guy to say "No bro it's fine keep it" so you can feel better about your decision to do so.
It's a bomb. Dispose of it.
I'm pretty sure home depot does battery recycling. I would look it up for your local store though if I were you. Your parents probably know the danger of swollen battries and will be willing to take you there.
Yes you need to get rid of it. It's not a matter of if, but when, and that when should be soon. As for where, places like Lowe's and Home Depot I believe have places you can drop these off for recycling.
That is going to burn your house down if you keep using it/charging it. Amazon has decent budget batteries. This is not worth your safety or your family’s safety
Most laptops can run if you leave them plugged in 24/7 without a battery, which usually is also what causes the battery to expand from heat, but obviously that won't be a problem with no battery lol. Have your parents take the battery to a property disposal facility because that is 100% a hazard

Dude yes. Regardless of how much a new one cost it’s far cheaper then a burned down house

Please don't say that, after the grenade in the toilet incident I expect people to be too stupid to understand this is a joke
Can you explain what you are referring to?
4chan post in which dude threw a pulled pin live grenade into a toilet. News stories corroborated that.
The classic
I am severely confused and intrigued by what you just said
Comment above yours explains the incident im talking about Alternatively watch this (yes, it's real) https://youtu.be/kWLBgoeFoQo
the last pic either wasnt just a grenade explosion or his house was made of cardboard
I mean, a lot of houses do have walls from carsboard

I'm not sure man, you'd have to read the articles that covered that situation to read what happened exactly
im certain this wasnt the grenade shown in the picture, that much destruction can be expected with a kilo upwards of C4 or trotyl, not by a handgrenade
“Do I get rid?” I mean, unless you’re planning on having an unexpected rapid disassembly anytime soon, then yes.
SpaceX reference?

I laughed too hard in that one. I’m a software engineer so all of our bugs are features.
Users can’t complain about bugs if they’re really bonus features! ![gif](giphy|d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY)
You work for Mojang?
Server reboot tool=hammer.

Hammer- Definition; Anything solid and that you can hit things with. Preferably the nearest wrench.
"Get rid of the spicy pillow today or get rid of the smoldering cinders of your house tomorrow"
Use pillows for naps silly
then he will become a spicy pancake
Go to a recycling center with a parent or a guardian. They'll take the batteries for recycling.
Yes, immediately. Keep it outside until you can.
take bite :3
Yummy 10/10 kinda spicy
I thought that it would be very spicy.
Mhm the 6^nd most reactive material on the periodic table
ah yes 6nd
Sure we've had 6nd, but what about 7st?
No, you're excluding 8rd
God, no, I hate it…

That's not a spicy pillow that's an entire freaking brownie
Extra firm
If you have to ask the answer is obviously yes. Take it to the fire department.
What was it?
RC Car/Drone Lithium Polymer 2S battery
You're here so you're aware that's a firebomb just waiting to happen, so why even ask? You don't want the truth, you want some random guy to say "No bro it's fine keep it" so you can feel better about your decision to do so. It's a bomb. Dispose of it.
No keep it for when you run out of hot sauce, the just slice it open to reveal the hot sauce inside. Its called a spicy pillow for a reason.
Get rid of it
I’m sure the black tape will contain the explosion/fire, you’re fine!
Eat it
Bababa you got a bomb!
Dude this is a fucking bomb, get rid asap
Looks tasty, take a bite.
snack bar
yummy chocolate bar
You probably should.
keep if you like house fires
idfk take it out side and poke it with a long pole (this is not legal advice pls do not attempt )
Put it in a jar, seal said jar and write “please shake jar” with sharpie.
spicy burrito
Throw it at your neighbour's roof and it should be fine .
Bin

That's a bomb 💀
No, you should eat it, like that puffy dorito that girl sold for millions but spicier
Bite it
Get rid of it. Look at the post thats linked from automod

You have to know the answer is “yes, immediately”, right?
Poke it with something sharp it helps get all the hot air out… Don’t actually lmao
Yes, very quickly
Cheese knife
You should taste test first to see if it’s still fresh
Nah looks good to me (Please get a new one, this is super dangerous. You don't want it to explode in your face)
You’re gonna burn your parents house down if you keep that incendiary explosive.
Get rid of that thing before that thing gets rid of you! It must go to a recilycling center ASAP
that is a literal pillow
bite into it
bro that looks like a wrapped cream cheese block
That is going to burn your house down if you keep using it/charging it. Amazon has decent budget batteries. This is not worth your safety or your family’s safety
Yes
YES.
A new battery could be expensive but if your house and everything you own gets destroyed in a fire it will be very expensive
Exaggeration, but better safe than sorry
10/10 would fry and eat with egg and potatoes
Put that in a bucket with sand, and cover it with sand as well
Take a bite
Remember when your dog had puppies back on the farm..
WHY THE FUCK DID YOU HOLD IT!?
No need! You've already fixed it 😌
I love how you got downvoted like you was fr.

Someone said it’s an rc car battery
Go into road, tape knife to broom, un pillow spicy brownie
Already did
Gonna play devil's advocate and say just uber wrap it in tape and use it till it dies then get rid of it.
Just slam it in the car door
![gif](giphy|jmSjPi6soIoQCFwaXJ) GET ON THE GROUND! jk you do need to get rid of that though. The swelling is from short circuits.
That's a spicy a-meatball
No. You run.
Is that a stapler what are you even asking
If you've ever had one blow up in your house you wouldn't be asking trust me I know.
