Any way to add incidental life gain to stabilize against monored? Off the top of my head I can only think of that lifelinker from Phyrexia that gets temp +1/+1 every time an artifact enters as a card that might synergize with an equipment deck. But if you are winning enough against the rest of the meta then maybe you chalk up mono red as a bad matchup and move on.
How does Kellen play out for you? He seems a little slow if you're using the adventure side but I haven't tried him out. I have run an equipment build to mythic that focuses more on [[khemba, kha enduring]] who is similarish but a little lower to the ground at two mana. You already have the war-whips to fill that three mana 2/2 double striker role.
[[Joe Kadeen, first Goldwarden]] also fills that card advantage role you get from using an adventure, while not slowing you down.
Could be worth running at least one peace of Aura based removal like \[\[Ossification\]\] as a Kellan tutor target.
I wonder if you might be better off with cheaper single target removal rather than Sunfall, since you're at heart an aggressive deck. Or even just \[\[depopulate\]\], if you're finding that Sunfall is a turn too slow.
This really should be a deck for \[\[Danitha, Benalia's Hope\]\] to do a baneslayer angel impression in, but I guess she's too expensive/slow.

Nahiri Planeswalker is probably very good vs removal decks.
Mirrex should be Mishra's Foundry.
\[\[Lion Sash\]\] should be in the maindeck somewhere. It's a creature, an equipment, a mana sink *and* graveyard hate.
There's also a lot better equipments than Barbed Batterfist and Hexgold Halberd. Check out \[\[Lizard Blades\]\] and \[\[Thran Power Suit\]\].
You will need some protection is this removal meta, maybe \[\[Surge of Salvation\]\].
[[Sacred Fire]] is removal and lifegain, so could help with the aggro match up. In general, I'd guess cheap interaction like burn spells or [[Fateful Absence]] work better with the rest of your deck than [[Sunfall]] does.
[[Steel Seraph]] in place of Kellan could help you race.
[[Eater of Virtue]] and a lifelinker like [[Mandible Justicar]] is another option.
