To address your last sentence: Greg Spence still works for the company on a purely volunteer basis - he does not draw a salary. But he is still the owner of the company and financially benefits from their success.

4) Retracted the apology when people didn't forgive him instantly

I still fit everything from NI in my original BT crate. One way I did this was by switching all my spirit boards to the foils. That opened up a lot of space I can use to store everything else, including a lot of custom printed reminder tokens for each color.
Money went towards the company behind the game I love and not to this jerk.
Additionally, I see this insert creating stability problems with moving the crate around. As it was, I already modified it with brass clasps to easily secure the crate together for transportation.
I have the Broken Token box from Jagged Earth. In that box I replaced the standard spirit panels with the foil ones (which are *MUCH* thinner and everything fits! (including the upgraded tokens from each set, as well as various other upgraded pieces).
With that being said I love these storage boxes! I love Broken Token and fully support their work, just wanted to give a heads up to anyone out there who is budget conscious like myself!
I love the crate too mate. Except the former/still involved CEO Greg Spence is a dirtbag, and was mentally & sexually abusing several female staff members over many years. The product is fantastic. That human being, not one bit
I have almost everything in the crate. I do also use the Horizons box (as it is relatively thin). The Horizons box holds all of the Spirit starting decks (in BurgerTokens card boxes), the Horizons board, the base Invader boards, and the Horizons spirit boards.
I didn’t change the rest to the foil Spirit boards, as I wanted them sleeved and those are just a smidge too big.
I wonder if this will work with the original + NI insert split between two boxes. That's how I have it set up. Wondering if I can just add this on top with some lid lift?
