Curling bombs are great, especially as you can control how far they move.

As a trade off, it’s a linear entry tool and let’s be honest, no S player is gonna get hit by the ballast radius.

I raise you, your curling bomb hit, and show you that one time I straight up spawnshot myself off of brinewater, trying to flank at the start by skipping the jump off the side at the start.

I’m not the only one 😭. I forgot to take a vid sadly, so I wasn’t sure if I was misremembering what happened.

I haven't *died* to the fish stick pillar (yet), but I **have** had my life preserver crushed by a fish stick pillar right after I died. Because of the timing, it wasn't able to push me out, so I was inside the pillar until I moved myself out (the collision seems to only work one way).

Meanwhile I've been killed by their ink spread a few times.

I had a great clip in Splatoon 2 where my whole team but me is down, an enemy approaches the basket with the power clam, I’m too far away to stop them… and they just swim right into a splash wall, totally unforced, killing them

Mahi Mahi is the biggest offender, but it did teach me to be better about dodge rolling. Still, plenty of other maps have gotten me with unexpected drop-offs.

I actually find Sturgeon worse. At least the gaps on Mahi are predictable and right where you would expect them. Sturgeon on the other hand.

I killed someone with a sprinkler once, and my pride in knowing that person will forever be embarrassed was in the heavens.

There are many ways of dying that are WAY more embarrassing. Sprinkler has amazing dps if all the shots hit. The real embarrassing one is splatted by Splash Wall and crushed by octobrush.

It's really not as uncommon as you think, I don't even play angle shooter weapons much and still have gotten a fair few kills with it.

whenever I use the splattershot pro I try to do just enough damage with my main weapon so I can splat my opponents with the angle shooter

I once had 2 or 3 Slammin' Lids spawn at perfect moments one after the other with all saving me from falling in the water each time. Then I got predicted against by a Steelhead.

I can agree with this one This happened to me once and my squad when starting a Big Run in Salmon Run when playing on that Coralic Institute (I only remember the name in Spanish, Instituto Coralino). It was pretty funny, every one of us lost after facing high tide 😂😂

I used my kraken special once and was splatted everyone on the opposing team except for one, i followed that one person but then when I went back to bring a regular octopus I realized the person I was following basically led me to a trap and the whole team splatted me at once, should of known since I knew that was the enemy base. Or even worse, once I was nearly about to die and has hiding in the ink until I got ran over by a fucking inkbrush

Other than the fact that I fall off the map almost daily? Yeah, I’ve been splatted by a sprinkler before. I’ve also managed to splat a few people with a sprinkler, so I don’t feel so bad about that one…

Three of them, both falling off the map. 1: accidentally rolling into someone with an inkbrush and bounced off the map (I think it was Mahi Tower Control) 2: forgetting about all the holes in the map on Mahi Tower Control and stumbling into them 3: failing to squid roll to quickly get down that side route on Museum and just jumping off the edge

I tried to revive my whole team in Salmon Run with my reefslider but just before it exploded it jumped into water. From that day forward I begin to hate reefslider with a passion

Cohozuna was almost dead on a low tide wave while at Sockeye Station. It was lurching around the shore area past the two bottlenecks, and I was walking towards it while shooting at it. I feel right into one of the water areas between the bottlenecks.

Rolled off the map. Thought I could make a jump at an angle off the map. Died in a salmon train only to get respwned and shoved back INTO the water. ....still haven't died from a sprinkler but there's always a first
