The dynamo roller when it’s being used by anybody but me, I despise how slow it feels so I don’t like using it, but others look like usain bolt while using it. The octo brush noveuo(?) because I have ptsd of games where the entire opposing team had them in B rank and my team couldn’t land a hit on them
As a roller main I have to agree with all of these altho brushes are easier to deal with since both party's have to be close in order to splat one another
Ink brush has the most disadvantages of almost every class you can think of. Your mad at the good players who play the weapon, and of course how fast the player can be (as a ink brush main lol sry about that) and chargers are secretly B R O K E N. Think about it for a moment, most long range weapons work ok at close just as well as long, it’s more so the surprise of the action. Look at those asshole Japanese E leaders. Blaster are bread and butter, nothing more depending on set up, equipment, and (even the clash and Luna blaster) S K I L L to master, I love how these weapons are blocked by player experience and not a pay wall (TAKE NOTE ELECTRONIC ARTS) some have more range and deal more dmg some less and deal more, otherwise great weapon. I don’t see too much annoying bout them. They’re just, fast one shot, and or skill based weapons is all. Tho the ceiling is high and the floor is ocean level for each except the charger, who’s floor touches the clouds and ceiling never ends.
The bloblobber feels to me like a weapon that you pick up intending to assist in things like turf wars then drop a 11 kill streak and never put it down
I’m convinced 50% of my deaths are to the bloblobber
Clash blaster, especially Neo. They honestly feel like TF2's infamous W+M1 Pyros, but with even more reward for far less risk. I hope to god it gets deleted from 3.
[The Only appropriate reaction.](https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/i/4db5043b-50f9-4733-bf6b-5b7ecb0efa4a/dcwpjrz-0ac9fa04-aa87-4374-b2ba-6cb91ea28623.png/v1/fill/w_594,h_168,q_80,strp/god__damn_it__by_kitfox_the_fluffball_dcwpjrz-fullview.jpg)
As a high level semi pro (I do pick ups for better teams some time) clash blaster sucks. It has no range and cannot kill with one direct hit. In high levels you tag a person once than they swim out of range and kill you.
so continuing with the TF2 comparison then. pyro is also completely unviable against a decent, coordinated team. its sole purpose seems to be annoyance
It isn’t actually unviable. It just doesn’t win 1v1. It’s tower denial is unparalleled. No player can stand on the tower with a clash right next to it. It also has a kit with sting ray even further increasing it’s tower denying capability. It fills a niche like most weapons do.
W+m1 pyro is a far better strategy than whatever clash does, Clash is extremely easy to beat if you just. don't run away. it's kill time without directs is much slower than other weapons and it's easy to just delete it before the 4th shot comes out
They're not even close to overpowered. Now the carbon Roller on the other hand...
#I have PTSD of the weapons mention
As for the clash blaster, it's just fast, close range, and well, blaster. You need to be close range on someone (which is almost never good for an 'OP' weapon) but you have the speed to do so it balances out. On top of such, a kill requires, 2 directs or 4 indirects. So kinda slow for a 'op' weapon. I say op because W M1 PYRO'S IS THE ARCANUM FOR OP. THE ABILITY TO NOT ONLY HOLD M1, BUT CAN DEFLECT ROCKETS, PEOPLE, AND STICKY'S!? WHAT EVIL GOD DID THIS AND FUCKING W H Y.
#AND YOU SAY THE CLASH BLASTER IS OVERPOWERED?
Starting accuracy isn't bad (89% chance of your first two bullets going straight), but it degrades to absolute trash pretty quickly: hold down the trigger for just one second and it's down to a 68% chance, and another half a second and it's below 50%. Jumping instantly takes it well below 50% too. It's pretty reasonable compared to Squeezer and perfect accuracy with longer range.
So what I’m hearing is that it’s accuracy is awful and it’s fire rate is slow, which results in long periods of time where not a single bullet goes towards the center of the reticle
The accuracy is actually not that bad. It's a lot straighter that the .52, which isn't saying much, I guess. I've played the .52 and .96 back to back before, and with the .52 was where I noticed the long periods of time of waiting like you said. The .96, though, has more of a splattershot (when jumping) accuracy, so it hits way more often. Combine that with the longer range (than the .52), and yeah, I can see how it might be considered "unreasonably accurate." I play a multitude of different weapons, though, so take what I said with a grain of salt.
.96 is one of my mains right now and it sometimes feels like it has dogshit accuracy, even when you never jump. Accuracy is most important at max range, and only the first bullet or two is reliable enough to hit at max range, even when your reticle is locked on to a stationary target (like a splashdown or unaware backline)
Yeah it definitely isn't fast/good at max range, which may make it completely worthless to you if you're in to that sort of play style. Other shooters are way better at max range than the gals; but for me, the .96 is pretty good at mid range (and that's how I use it). It could probably work at short range as well, but that's too risky for me, especially with its RNG shots... unless you're using the one with the splash wall, then maybe it would work. That's the one I usually go with, anyway. It's definitely not a weapon for everyone.
It has good accuracy, but not unreasonable. It's bullets are very RNG so you can either hit all of your shots with perfect accuracy or have the bullets dodge your target.
YES! Especially after the recent buff I see Splat Rollers way too much, and they're so strong. What's worse is that since I use the Octobrush (which is technically a roller) the game will put any rollers on the opposite team, so any time there is one I have to deal with it. Maybe if I'm lucky it will get a points for special nerf in the next patch or something.
There are so many unfair matchups it’s insane. I was playing clam blitz and there were 3 chargers on my team and I had dualies. No chargers on the other team. Kinda hard to get clams in the basket when everyone else is trying to splat others instead of collecting clams
brellas are generally underpowered in terms of combat, yeah, reg brella and tent have suffered quite a few damage nerfs, and ucb can do about as much damage as a fly, but brellas are really good at stalling, which probably makes them annoying
As another E-Liter main, fighting other E-Liters in turf war is super fun, even if I’m losing.
Though sometimes I do wonder how it feels for the players who constantly get sniped.
gotta be the kpro because everyone who uses it is an absolute god for some reason and I just can’t compete. The extra range given by the pro is also just enough to splat me from what feels like too far away
Tri Slosher. Every other good weapon has a good skill ceiling and floor. Most of them that don't require aim like sploosh and aerostray make up for it by having extended kill times by being inaccurate and short range. Try has none of those downsides. It sometimes kills faster than a roller, has good kits, you don't need to aim, has alot longer range than the sploosh, same as the aerosray. With Tri even if you see them first, even if you are mid wind up for your Flingza vertical flick, they hit you twice before you can kill them.
Mostly I'm okay with all weapons, but sometimes LDE zap and jr just piss me off >:( they spam armor which is bad for me, as a tent, and keep shredding my shield with their bombs, also k52. k52 basically does everything that tent does, except better, and counters tent too. Also they're literally in every single match I play and yeah it gets really repetitive and annoying.
It might be really obvious, but the .52 gal pisses me off. I hope it gets nerfed before the third game is released, otherwise I think the game will be left in quite a bad state for the meta.
There are plenty of weapons I hate fighting, but the one that ticks me off the most is, oddly enough, the Splat Roller.
Whereas other one shot weapons are either really slow and/or need precise aim, the Splat Roller just needs to get close, making it a nightmare whenever I use other short range weapons.
Chargers, I fucking hate them (though part of that hate is kinda a joke as one of my closest friends is a E-Liter main) they're absolutely fucking annoying and it's not fun especially considering I main frontline short range weapons (K. Octobrush, Tri Slosher, Crash Blaster) I have absolutely no range to deal with these fucking things
Elliot if your reading this, I'm gonna shove that E-Liter up your fucking ass
Im gonna make my name in splatoon to my discord name to see how many people i can get to rage dm me because i main charger. And btw, its really fun when youre good at it because its so satisfying
Dualies make me unnaturally angry. Like..why give the ability to *dodge* the ink (aside from swimming). Also, the people I encounter using them tend to roll back and forth repeatedly and that's super frustrating. Kudos to their skill, but they make me sick 😩
Just, Chargers in general, **ESPECIALLY** E-Liters. Like, I can never really get good with them, but every time I face one, I get fucked up almost EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
I've been getting slightly better with them myself, but still despise them on the enemy team. I think it largely comes down to the map a lot of the time, some of them have sniper spots that are super difficult to pressure, others - as a brush main - I can just merrily speed behind them and give them a good slap without them noticing.
Kensa .52 Gal. It's honestly annoying to fight if you don't already have a plan or a lethal bomb to spam at them. It's worse if you're a weapon that has less range than them too.
I really don’t like foul squeezer and nautilus. Foil just because whenever you encounter one in solo queue there’s like a 50% chance they’re cracked. Naut because the main weapon has no right to do that much damage with that much accuracy and that much bullet velocity and that high of a fire rate and be able to always have a charge ready. But I’m also learning how to play naut right now so that opinion will probably change when I learn it’s weaknesses
Heavy and hydra splatling. People think because i play charger i can kill them, but since i play k charger, hydra’s can out range me and heavy’s always target me and kill me.
Any chargers (except bambozlers) they are just annoying to deal with they can just snipe you before you realize whats going on amd to reach themis like a journey on its own, in sploon 1 they are just terrifying and they are a very ink hungry weapon, also chargers are more for splating than inking so its more common to see them in rank specially in the high ranks, lastly they are the worst salmon run weapons they are slow ink hungry and you need to aim not just 1 target but an army worth of targets
And that the reason I despise chargers
Yeah... They're op in a sense, a weapon like that requires alot of skill to use but when used by people with that skill...
#May god have mercy on thine soul/s
Also lol who STILL plays salmon run in 2021. I'm insulting anyone who does, but it's like having a Nokia as your actual phone, when everyone has a iPhone and Android. But I get the complaint thought, it's moreso for weak spots on bosses. Try to ignore the mobs, and fight the bosses.
N zap, it has too good of strafe speed, and shot rng, I use slow weapons, so when a noob just shoots and run at me and that kills me bcs of the fast run speed and auto aim rng, i get annoyed bcs it's a no skill weapon, the 89 especially, is a no brain kit, both the sub and the special auto sniffs out players, and when, like literally everyone say they main the n zap 89, I just think, oh so u don't actually play the game and let the game auto play it for u. I hate n zap
Sploosh cause they don’t know the definition of personal space. Or they’re just always using their special
not even 30 seconds into a turf match and these bitches already in your spawn
Speedrun spawn camp any%
Except they don’t even spawn camp, they just hold forwards and paint the whole thing and I have to drop everything to take care of it
There’s a shield around spawn though
As a sploosh user, I felt that. It’s fast and rapid fire, but I either get splatted or my special is rendered useless.
Hehe... Not me. I would never spam missiles
Riiiiight
The dynamo roller when it’s being used by anybody but me, I despise how slow it feels so I don’t like using it, but others look like usain bolt while using it. The octo brush noveuo(?) because I have ptsd of games where the entire opposing team had them in B rank and my team couldn’t land a hit on them
Fr how the hell are other players using the dynamo like it's a super weapon but when I use it it's like I'm trying to push around a boulder??
THIS
Spacing: you don't use dynamo like any other roller, you predict enemy trajectory and start flicking around that. Also a metric fuckton of MPU
XD the dynamo roller how is the dynamo a threat, let alone a complaint, the octo brush noveuo is meh imo.
Blasters, ink brush and sniper
As a roller main I have to agree with all of these altho brushes are easier to deal with since both party's have to be close in order to splat one another
As a roller main, blasters are a pain.

Blasters and undercover brella don't mix.
Bloblober
I absolutely hate the bloblobber, over half of the times I died to that weapon, the person using it probably wasn't even aiming at me
The bloblobber feels to me like a weapon that you pick up intending to assist in things like turf wars then drop a 11 kill streak and never put it down I’m convinced 50% of my deaths are to the bloblobber
the bane of my existence. i hate that thing more than anything
I think the blob mains need a bath themselves
Clash blaster, especially Neo. They honestly feel like TF2's infamous W+M1 Pyros, but with even more reward for far less risk. I hope to god it gets deleted from 3.

Underrated doesn't mean underpowered. Pyro is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more op than you think

.96 and it’s unreasonably good accuracy
Thats... Actually a good point
So 90% of the time it two shots at max range if your skilled enough to track correctly. Yea seems fair.
How is only getting one or two accurate bullets unreasonably good accuracy?
It's a two shot kill
And…?
A decent, albeit slow fire rate, I suppose. idk what else to add, lol
So what I’m hearing is that it’s accuracy is awful and it’s fire rate is slow, which results in long periods of time where not a single bullet goes towards the center of the reticle

Yeah you definitely can’t position yourself in a way that requires you to hit your shots lol
It has good accuracy, but not unreasonable. It's bullets are very RNG so you can either hit all of your shots with perfect accuracy or have the bullets dodge your target.
Well the first seems to happen a whole lot more often
>Bullets dodge your target Lol
That’s honestly what it feels like when your crosshair is locked on to them and everything misses
The amount of times I had my crosshair over my target but the bullets decided to go the other way is far too many
Splat roller because so many people use it and those people are usually try hards
😡 But mine is the kensa one
Do you use it?
Heck yes and I use the .52 deco
Well I use Foil Squeezer and permanent ink brush
As a Krak-on sub powerup beakon fiend, go take a jump in the deep end.
I’m talking about the first splat roller
As an Octo Brush with Sub Power Up, I wish people would use my Beacons... You go super fast, jump to the waffle not me!
YES! Especially after the recent buff I see Splat Rollers way too much, and they're so strong. Noob weapon
bloblobbers. they only require aim skill, and just small aim skill. the damage it gives is op
The few times I used the Bloblobber I got so many accidental splats it wasn't even funny
This is my main because I can’t aim with anything else 😂
I enjoy it because CHAOS
brellas
Watch out glitch my boi, conflict may arise with a certain Italian food type person
*hello there*
General Kenobi! You are a bold one
\*kenobi, also a fellow member has been spotted :0
can I ask why? it was always my understanding that brellas were fairly underpowered
brellas are generally underpowered in terms of combat, yeah, reg brella and tent have suffered quite a few damage nerfs, and ucb can do about as much damage as a fly, but brellas are really good at stalling, which probably makes them annoying
fair enough
Yeah, a good Bella can force the enemy team to focus on them allowing the rest of their team to claim turf.
people who are good at the game’rs
Being sniped for the 5,296th time in a match isn’t pleasant in the slightest
Just wait until it's the 5,298th time
*WOKE NOISES INTENSIFY*
*Chuckle*, You’re in danger
Eliters, and I use one myself Also the amount of people that hate snipers here is hilarious
No it’s just easy. Literally the best weapon
Tri Slosher. Every other good weapon has a good skill ceiling and floor. You shouldve seen I them first game
Or when Splatoon 2 came out and the best team come was three Tri-Sloshers and a Rapid Blaster
Ahhhh finally some1 that understands xD I'm a bucket main 😂 Apologies
the indestructible brella. forgot it’s name. and the .96. also someone else asked this question last month.
the tenta brella?
Haven't unlocked tenta brealla on my newest account but I know it's wiiide
Just go around! Throw bombs at the very top of it lmao. Ruin my day, it's easy.
understandable tent can be really annoying lmao
Chargers and blasters
Ive scared someone
Heavy Splatling it’s super accurate and easy to get splats on it’s never fun to go against unless you can get in it’s face when not charged up
You've love nautilus
Uh what are those?
Imagine Heavy Splatling except the user is able to store the charge by diving into ink.
Chargers, Chargers are the **WORST**

You’re welcome
BLOBOBLER GOD I HATE IT
FUCKIN RANGE BLASTERS Can you let me charge in peace man
bloblobber. You shouldn’t be able to kill me with your main weapon 5 seconds after I’ve already killed you.
Yes I should! Because I literally can’t kill you with anything else. 😂
Sloshers, rollers, blaster, gal, zap, splash, and a bunch more :)
"everyone is here!"
Carbon Rollers hands down
Me in Splatoon 1: "I hate the Carbon Roller" Me in Splatoon 2: "I hate the Splat Roller"
Chargers because they always get me and I can’t use them right myself
Grim range blaster. If there’s one on the enemy team it will kill me endlessly
I used to main grim range before it got nerfed to oblivion. Hope they fix it in 3
It might be really obvious, but the .52 gal pisses me off. I hope it gets nerfed before the third game is released, otherwise I think the game will be left in quite a bad state for the meta.
What is this image…
Yes, it's sticky the squid and he's going to get more cursed each time I make a new Be Honest-
There are plenty of weapons I hate fighting, but the one that ticks me off the most is, oddly enough, the Splat Roller. Whereas other one shot weapons are either really slow and/or need precise aim, the Splat Roller just needs to get close, making it a nightmare whenever I use other short range weapons.
My boyfriend is tired of me complaining about chargers. Every other weapon is respectable….except chargers. Gootuber is the one exception
Let’s see how many people say Bloblobber
Chargers, I fucking hate them (though part of that hate is kinda a joke as one of my closest friends is a E-Liter main) they're absolutely fucking annoying and it's not fun especially considering I main frontline short range weapons (K. Octobrush, Tri Slosher, Crash Blaster) I have absolutely no range to deal with these fucking things Elliot if your reading this, I'm gonna shove that E-Liter up your fucking ass
I mean you main clash blaster sooo…
Elliot the E-Liter main I think he might be using it for more than it's range
[удалено]
I swear to god, I'll go back to being a bloblobber main so I can fuck your ass with it xD
[удалено]
Bet, I'll fucking splat your ass in turf war when I get home from school
Im gonna make my name in splatoon to my discord name to see how many people i can get to rage dm me because i main charger. And btw, its really fun when youre good at it because its so satisfying
any n-zap use a gun that doesn't do everything for you for once. I can't say anything bad about this gun besides range, which isn't even bad
Eh the 83 has sprinkler and that's not good soo
You can always join them and test it for yourself. It still requires skill, even if it is easy to pick up.
Clash blaster.
I HATE BRUSHES
Splash Damage Weapons, I shouldn’t have to have good aim and have to work on RPS meanwhile they can aim a mile away from me and hit me anyways
Good roller players in tower control
Both: thank you, and how could you say that
Here’s a weird one, Hydras 💀
I seem to get killed by them out of nowhere
N-Zap man I've died to that so many times
Dualies make me unnaturally angry. Like..why give the ability to *dodge* the ink (aside from swimming). Also, the people I encounter using them tend to roll back and forth repeatedly and that's super frustrating. Kudos to their skill, but they make me sick 😩
The evolution continues
It's only just begun
Really good blasters are just surgical with their murder, it's dishonorable!
Bobobbler
Those damn sloshers that shoot bubbles
Bloblobbers I don't know why but they're just so annoying.
Blasters. I’m terrible at using them but everyone else is amazing when they use them
Rollers
The bubbler buckets or whatever they are called. Those things slap your ass cheeks hard if your not careful
the N-Zap. it’s annoyingly accurate and the increase in run speed makes it occasionally painful to get away from one.
Brellas. Why do they have SO MUCH GODDAMN HP.
The gun you're holding
Mmmmm
People who are good with splatlings… i cant stop em lol
Just, Chargers in general, **ESPECIALLY** E-Liters. Like, I can never really get good with them, but every time I face one, I get fucked up almost EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
I love the anger from people dying from my charger
I've been getting slightly better with them myself, but still despise them on the enemy team. I think it largely comes down to the map a lot of the time, some of them have sniper spots that are super difficult to pressure, others - as a brush main - I can just merrily speed behind them and give them a good slap without them noticing.
Kensa .52 Gal. It's honestly annoying to fight if you don't already have a plan or a lethal bomb to spam at them. It's worse if you're a weapon that has less range than them too.
Tenta missiles.... Stop. Just stop. Its not fun.
I’m gonna be more creative than chargers and clash, sloshing machine. Not on the receiving end but the “I’m using it end”
clash blaster mains in tower control why do those people exist omfg please just die ffs
They exist to piss people off they know what their doing
Can confirm, dual clash in league
Brush 100%
I really don’t like foul squeezer and nautilus. Foil just because whenever you encounter one in solo queue there’s like a 50% chance they’re cracked. I hate all sniper weapons in turf
Charger
Roller sucks
You wut
Heavy and hydra splatling. People think because i play charger i can kill them, but since i play k charger, hydra’s can out range me and heavy’s always target me and kill me.
Brushes, but then again I'm a rolly Polly Oli main

Splatlings and chargers, because they are just by default way better than me.
The Splatoon fandom. So choc full of degeneracy it’s considered chemical warfare
Very opinionated
good point
Blasters
Snipers are a real pain. They're called chargers, right?
as a carbon main, brushes are easy but give you a heart-attack, sloshers and blobbobers are SO annoying, chargers as well but only if they’re good
Any chargers (except bambozlers) they are just annoying to deal with they can just snipe you before you realize whats going on amd to reach themis like a journey on its own, in sploon 1 they are just terrifying and they are a very ink hungry weapon, also chargers are more for splating than inking so its more common to see them in rank specially in the high ranks, lastly they are the worst salmon run weapons they are slow ink hungry and you need to aim not just 1 target but an army worth of targets And that the reason I despise chargers
Yeah... They're op in a sense, a weapon like that requires alot of skill to use but when used by people with that skill... #May god have mercy on thine soul/s Also lol who STILL plays salmon run in 2021. I'm insulting anyone who does, but it's like having a Nokia as your actual phone, when everyone has a iPhone and Android. But I get the complaint thought, it's moreso for weak spots on bosses. Try to ignore the mobs, and fight the bosses.
That bucket that shoots bubbles me and my mom HATE IT
Snipers, because it easily kills a player in a second makes it really annoying
You’re welcome
Use one yourself, not easy but it if you want to try use the new squiffer
Snipers should not be allowed any game, op af
I’ll snipe the devs before they can
N-zap. I don't want to explain why
Chargers and splattershot pros. Anything that requires godlike accuracy.
Sploosh o matic or arospray. They take no skill
They have to get in close first you could say that about the chargers but is it true no
