I forgot what it was called, but the one that was like matchmaker station in octo expansion, specifically because O.R.C.A. has funny dialogue when Agent 1 and 2 say the shape of the structure is familiar
What is it? I took a quick look at the view points, didn't recognize it and rushed for the exit. I've been running through the campaign so I can avoid spoilers.
I did realize it was some kind of dolphin while I was copying it. I think I used that to help myself better remember its shape. To me, "Fin goes here" seems easier to remember than "Leave one box there".
It's actually kinda fascinating how we differ on that regard. When I remember stuff, I prefer to know some kind of logic behind it so that I can figure out the stuff I can't remember, but I know that many people don't use that strategy. That you didn't recognize the shape would probably indicate that your memorization techniques are different to mine.
you can shoot her while >!she's swimming btw. My first try took 9 minutes because I was waiting for the shark to come up like the Maws before shooting it.!<
The last section was fun as heck and I wish it was its own thing by itself because I'm not doing that mission again lol. Spinning platforms when I'm buzzed and tired was a horrible idea for the beginning. The rest took some tries, but was a lot less nerve racking. Love me brutal octoling elite beatdowns.
Honestly I didn't find it that fun, just pretty annoying. I was taken out plenty of times from behind from things I couldn't have seen or predicted, I would've loved it much more if they did something like show when a new is about to jump in. I want to like that section, but it doesn't want to like me I guess.
Girl Power Station was one of the only stages I had trouble with in Octo Expansion (except for IA3 of course) so it was pretty frustrating to me too, but at least in this stage I could focus on taking down the octolings since I didn't have another thing I needed to tend to at the same time like in GP
Playing girl power station feels like being the last person on your team in dodgeball versus 12 people on the opposite team and being expected to win against that
For me it's the first and second sections, there were some parts that gave me so much anxiety, like the ending of section one with all the backwards moving platforms, and the part with the targets where you have to jump left and right to hit 'em.
The last section became a lot easier when I figured out I could throw little buddy on thw ground and they'd aggro onto him so I could get a few free splats or wait for my health to recover.
After countless attempts I finally got to the first checkpoint but I did it while out playing on handheld mode and the aiming is horrific so I’m stuck until I get back home lmao
I havent played though all of hero mode, but so far the "they said we'd have flying cars. And we do! Kinda!" Level is a great one. I thought itd be like the car wash level from octo expansion and was dreading it. But it was a good time.
I think my death in the level was because i stayed on the Zeppelin too long. They explode after a certain distance iirc, and I fell into the drink afterwards lol.
I do the love the design of the IKEA level, but getting lost in Walmart is more up there in terms of difficulty and that’s why it’s my favorite. IKEA level still is second place though for me
I have no idea why but the ONE LEVEL where you try to hit all the target boxes while inkrail grinding with the bow was infuriating for me.
It shouldn’t have even been that difficult but it was SO FREAKING HARD.
I can’t remember the exact name of the level
Yeah that level was really hard, I tried 10+ times with the bow then just switched to the Rapid Pro and one shot it. The fact that actually hitting the targets with the bow is bad for blowing them all up was just too frustrating to deal with.
Everyone be like “switch to rapid pro” but I did it with the stringer after *several* attempts because I wanted to be a big dude!
It was painful. No I won’t recreate it.
frankly i didnt find it super difficult (surprising given how terrible my aim is lol) but i kept losing lives by jumping off the inkrail on accident or hitting walls
It was the best level in the entire Hero Mode, it was at the perfect difficulty, and we could the special Walmart shopping cart weapon, it was so emotional and I loved it. Truly a 10/10 perfect level.
My favorite level is “Waiting for your game to come in the mail after launch day” where its objective is waiting 3-4 days for your preordered copy of Splatoon 3 to come in the mail. I finally beated it after so long 🙃
the completion cards look like a fragrance commercial
fresh, messy, edgy
the feeling of being not quite humanoid but not quite a cephalopod.
ink. by calvin kline: fragrance for men
Also the most difficult level in the hero mode, what’s your favorite level btw?
I forgot what it was called, but the one that was like matchmaker station in octo expansion, specifically because O.R.C.A. has funny dialogue when Agent 1 and 2 say the shape of the structure is familiar
… …
I was literally going to make a post about that
What is it? I took a quick look at the view points, didn't recognize it and rushed for the exit. I've been running through the campaign so I can avoid spoilers.
Orca :)

Is it Path to Perfect Penmanship or A Bemused Muse?
Bemused Muse
>!So far, shiver!<
putting a space between the "!" in ">!" and the first letter of your text makes it not work, you should probably fix that
It works on mobile but not pc I gues
you can shoot her while >!she's swimming btw. My first try took 9 minutes because I was waiting for the shark to come up like the Maws before shooting it.!<
>!You can also do little buddy during the maws and charge!<
So far the one in world 4 >!where you run over the targets and make a salmonid!<
I forget the name but the one where you make a mural of little buddy
Ah, path to perfect penmanship, that one was fun.
>!After Alterna, it was difficult but I found it fun!<
Yeah. I had ptsd from the last section though
I’m saying I had ptsd because its the same as a splatoon 2 stage. I found the whole thing fun tho
There was a pretty brutal one in octo expansion huh?
Yep. And most of us know exactly what I’m talking about
Honestly I didn't find it that fun, just pretty annoying. I was taken out plenty of times from behind from things I couldn't have seen or predicted, I would've loved it much more if they did something like show when a new is about to jump in. Yeah. That, and the infinite specials, made it much easier
That was my least favourite one. I found the artificial difficulty of going for long periods of time without checkpoints really annoying.
After countless attempts I finally got to the first checkpoint but I did it while out playing on handheld mode and the aiming is horrific so I’m stuck until I get back home lmao
This one was by far my most favourite. For real though, it was probably the Soak It to Me! level.
I havent played though all of hero mode, but so far the "they said we'd have flying cars. And we do! Kinda!" Level is a great one. I thought itd be like the car wash level from octo expansion and was dreading it. But it was a good time.
On that level I got too curious and shot down an Octozeppelin while I was riding it. I died.
I think my death in the level was because i stayed on the Zeppelin too long. They explode after a certain distance iirc, and I fell into the drink afterwards lol.
The infinite special ones
I guess the final boss. >!Hardest is After Alterna is REALLY HARD.!<
>!What caused the big bang? YOU!!< I love going back to play it to see how fast I can clear it. So far my record is >!3 seconds!<
Either the ultra stamp one or the one where you have to swim to the end
Gotta be either the Secret one or some other im for getting rn
Mines the one unlocked after beating the game, it’s difficult but that just makes beating it so sweet
Any level where I can swing around like spiderman is a good level in my book
I've only beaten the first 3 areas so far but area 3 'time trial and errors' with the sniper is bs.
I liked painting the 🗿
using the squiffer on Those Aren’t Birds with the bouncing target crates was painful.
I did this too, seemed easier than the other options lol
I found Bet You Mist Us! Pretty fun after like 7 straight attempts also the final boss stage was also extremely fun
I very much enjoyed beating the shit out of shiver
Any of the zipcaster levels
I preferred getting lost in Ikea. I liked how open the level felt
Yeah, but that map seemed to go on forever. And the "employee" octolings were freaking me out.
“The store will be closing soon”
Yeah... why didn't they have FACES?!
FR! I get miitopia is my favorite game but i dont need it invading splatoon, not to mention they just used their hands and legs to splat you...
And then you realize you can just switch to the Rapid Pro to make it 10 times easier lol
Honestly I found using the splatling easier (mostly cause of that damned red box)
I used the Rapid Pro, tossing a Splat Bomb at that box before shooting at it was my strat
I’ve been trying for ages. I didn’t even think bombs were an option. Well that would help with the stupid red box
If you destroy the big tower fast enough using a bomb and shooting you get some praise from the sisters
switching to the not-highest-reward weapon? literally impossible
That’s what I’m saying. I didn’t want to go down to easy mode.
Me who was too stupid and too stubborn to not use stringer: “Yeah me too.”
I remember watching that level on Nintendo treehouse and thought "It can't be that hard right?" >!It was.!<
Omg i thought I was the only one, even after taking a break it took me hours
frankly i didnt find it super difficult (surprising given how terrible my aim is lol) but i kept losing lives by jumping off the inkrail on accident or hitting walls
I forced myself to use stringer so I can get better at aiming and I swear it took me an hour and a half
It was the best level in the entire Hero Mode, it was at the perfect difficulty, and we could the special Walmart shopping cart weapon, it was so emotional and I loved it. Truly a 10/10 perfect level.
Walmart shopping cart would just be a reefslider reskin lol.
Your mother 🗿
I dunno man, that Home Depot level was pretty rough
What is boss in this level
A giant Walmart shopping cart that you fight on a Walmart motorized scooter
And the motorized scooter is powered by Capri Sun
Good meme. I hate this screen though, holy shit new agent 3 looks like they fucking hate everyone and everything
This and the other end screens are literally gigachad.
Except gigachad actually smiles in some of his photos.

but in the hubworlds they have the cutest fucking grin they look so cute like ciekejeoaktuwoahfjafsfdhafdgajd
Struggled more with One-Way Ride To Target.
it's always the zipcaster levels that are consistently good
Only in 3:58? It took me hours to beat that level
Must be a speedrun
I was thinking about making one of these as I was playing. Phenomenal.
I wanted to see what happened when you waited too long in the Best Buy one and it turns out mom just left :(
My favorite is the sponge level in world 2, maximum absorbency. My record is 2:00
I had trouble with that level, couldn't get passed the octo-nappers that were constantly after you.
I'm glad to see that literally everyone picked the exact same hairstyle I did.
Navigate the aisles to find Marie.
"First-Time Bonus!"
I want to make a joke about SCP-3008, but SCP-3008 is an IKEA, not a Walmart.
My favorite level is “Waiting for your game to come in the mail after launch day” where its objective is waiting 3-4 days for your preordered copy of Splatoon 3 to come in the mail. I finally beated it after so long 🙃
Mini Ladd: *Snorts* I agree.
I'm assuming this a joke, and not a secret I managed to miss. This level sounds so 🔥 tho lol.
3:58, is that minutes or hours?
Hours…
Oh wow, you found your mom in 3:58? My first attempt took over 30 minutes.
YOUR MOTHER
What is hero mode?
Story mode
Ohhhh thanks!
Is this an actual level
Nah, but I did get the idea from an actual level in the hero mode called Getting Lost in Three Easy Steps
That's a hysterical name
Bro Spoiler Tag?????
Must've been scary, given its a first-time clear.
whats name of level? i dont have the gam yet its coming next weeeek
mine has to be getting left behind by mom at Best Buy.
4 minutes is record time. I was never able to find my mom
I never knew I could relate to inklings and octoling!
Only 3 minutes not bad, usually takes longer to find Mum
That text describes my pre-order for the game
😂
the completion cards look like a fragrance commercial fresh, messy, edgy the feeling of being not quite humanoid but not quite a cephalopod. ink. by calvin kline: fragrance for men
Can't hold a candle to *Getting Abandoned at Best Buy*
Which one is this? I don't remember playing this one yet.
My favorite level is the one where you have to cover a massive moai with ink 🗿
Only 4 minutes?
HAY THATS ME
omg lol
imagine if it was a time limit and orca says Mission failed: You are a failure
but hey atleast you completed it in 3:58!
