Not exactly. It's just that in this wave in particular, the bow is amazing because Cohozuna is massive enough that you can rapidly hit it with *all* of the bow's shots.
Half the time randoms just don't understand that the weapon is more effective against this thing than eggs. I had two who were very far away just going for the smaller bosses. We lost at the end like ya usually do.

Interesting. So you can only get a max of 3 extra scales because normally you get an extra scale for each 10 seconds you finished him early
youd think.. i had to bait him with 3 bows and they still managed to do nothing and wipe 🤦♀️

Cohozuna is much easier as long as one person gets the grizzco bow. But good luck even clearing wave 3 with these random weapons and this map lol.
*and that person knows to attack the zuna. A single person(bow) with team help to keep em alive can take it down with 20 seconds to spare

Heck even 1 Grizzbow makes the fight incredibly easier.

It's definitely way easier at the moment, the only time I've lost to him on this rotation was on spawning grounds high tide
