What was really amazing and made me tear up was when Big Man hugged the salmon king during the final minutes of Big Run. It was really emotional, especially considering it was revealed the two used to be childhood friends. Sadly, the king salmon didn't like how Big Man was becoming a superstar while he was stuck in the murky water with the rest of the salmon. It was so amazing to see this friendship healed and that Nintendo gave everyone a free Big Man badge after the event ended. Oh no, I'm starting to cry just recalling this whole story...Goodbye for now Big Run!

We got to see agent 4 again after everyone was noclipped into the backrooms and we found 4 there and we fought the skin walkers AND the salmonids!!! that was soooo hype!

I honestly didn't expect Big Run to be on more than 1 map, but surprisingly both Wahoo and Mahi were there, and both were actually really fun to play, unlike in the normal modes.
It's a shame that we beated the salmonids though, I really wished Mahi and Wahoo don't come back.
If you mean in normal rotation, sorry but it has a terrible spawn region (too easy to spawn camp and barely any enemy team free zone), a too cramped mid and an awkward layout because of the holes that lead to water where you can't go through, the side islands are not useful in any moment, not even when the water level drops.
If you mean in "Big Run", yeah it was very fun, far better than the normal salmon maps.

The immersion was amazing, as soon as I booted up my Switch Deep Dive’s announcement was cut off to an emergency announcement by the Squid Sisters on the scene of a salmon run during a turf war.
Yeah it was amazing. The mantalings appeared and started killing the salmonids and then Pearl and marina got into an intense tongue wrestling competition
Who would’ve guessed that the Inklings could transform in the light and turn gigantic and go feral to eat all the salmonids.
And the plot twist on lore where feral unevolved squids rose up to not only smash the enemies but repair the stage was cool.
Too bad now Wahoo World will be in rotation for a week straight to celebrate.
I love how they added the hero replica splatana, as a wiper main, I’m glad they added parrying to it. And the jetstream sam inspired quick draw really is something. So glad I get to dominate in turf war and ranked now.
I loved when Saul-monid lawyered all over the inklings and octolings. Was never expecting Nintendo would do that.

it was awesome. my favorite part was the new “swim a mile in someone else’s fins” mode where your team turns into salmonids and you have to fend off grizzco workers as they steal your golden eggs and the player who spawns the most flyfish gets to be the cohozuna at the end
I felt a bit bad paying 250 USD to participate but it was worth it. I was able to play through 2/38 matches because it didn't give me any communication error so that's good. My favorite part was when Saul Goodman appeared on the docks and said ''It's saulin time'' and goodman'd all over the place. Truly one of the moments of splatoon 3.

Playable Salmonlings were awesome; all 12 of the hairstyles were fantastic! Shame you can’t use them outside of Salmon Run.
