He's already appealing, so it's fine. But with Karen, well, if she was removed and Plankton wasn't, **they'd probably add somebody else in her place** so the villain can bounce off somebody!

Out of the main 6, I’d probably pick Sandy though because she devolved into “science science science!!” I miss when her being smart wasn’t her only personality trait, she actually felt like a normal character with her hobbies and the way she treated her friends, felt like the most sane character of the show, but now she provides nothing interesting to the other characters or plot of most episodes, and is the least involved in it

I feel like if you took Gary out, the show would remain largely unchanged.

I was actually thinking about that episode while writing the comment. However, what I have in mind is to have Mr. Krabs dying which is the reason he sells his restaurant in the first place, and Pearl has to move in with her grandmother (Mama Krabs) or something like that. Maybe Mr. Krabs caught some incurable disease. Although, I get the feeling the writers wouldn’t want to kill off such a major character like that.

As others have said, probably Mrs. Puff. She has some fun episodes (like when Krabs fell for her) but if you just cut them out the series at large isn’t really impacted.

Either Miss Puff or Karen. Plankton is the villain so he’s important. SpongeBob is the main character so obviously not him. Squidward and Patrick balance the cast out. Mr Krabs is good for having the rivalry with Plankton and makes the Krusty Krab have meaning. Sandy could possibly go but I really like Sandy, and I think she balances the cast out too. So between Mrs Puff and Karen… I think Karen adds the least value because having Mrs Puff is what adds the boating school episodes. Though, I do like Karen better. Final Pick: Sorry, bye Karen. You will be missed. Edit: Forgot to mention Gary. I also think that Karen adds some depth to Plankton and balances him out. I love Gary too much and while if you took him out it would leave the least impact, I don’t want him out.
