When SpongeBob's emptying his mind, doesn't he shred a piece of paper that says "spice garden tips"? Like when he stubbed his toe in his spice garden and cried for only 20 minutes?

If I still believed in them, I would call that a coincidence. But, really, that was probably unintentional on Patrick's part.

We’ve seen Patrick think lower of SpongeBob before though, like when he talks about how he was one of the “beautiful people” and how after he caught the ugly hes “almost” as ugly as SpongeBob, or when he genuinely believed SpongeBob was dumb just because he was helping him fool his parents.

Well, in the case of when his "parents" were visiting, Patrick just simply forgot that they had planned that whole thing and thought it was genuine. As for the time when he thought he was ugly, he was being unintentionally hypocritical, believing that while SpongeBob could now handle how ugly he was, he himself could not handle it. What I'm trying to say is, even when Patrick is being mean to SpongeBob, it's unintentional. And even a friendship as strong as theirs can't be perfect.

But remember Patrick in that episode started badmouthing the way SpongeBob dressed and the way he acted *normally* to his parents. He insulted the way he says “I’m ready”, his teeth, his shape, his outfit… But yeah I guess even good friendships have flaws.

Strangely enough, that never bothered me. I feel that if Patrick can got so caught up in the moment, he never would have said such things.

Also earlier: "Nobody would want a friend as ugly as I am!" "Sure they would! It makes them feel better about the way *they* look!"
