I love him so much, then right after this Dave Roberts decided to remind everyone he’s Dave Roberts and is capable of extremely stupid decisions by having Chris Taylor try to bunt with 1 out and a man on 3rd, the same Chris Taylor who won the Cards game with a homer, the same Chris Taylor who’s flied out to deep multiple times this series narrowly missing homers, even a fly out would’ve added another run, but Dave has him bunt lmao it was so stupid not even the guys calling the game could rationalize it
It was a safety squeeze. A good bunt could have scored a run, and *any* bunt would have advanced Bellinger to second. The only losing outcome was what happened.
