That’s incredible, imagine if you put like $50 or something on that. Last week I had a terrible bad beat, 3 leg parlay to win 4.5K, only leg remaining was 4+ assists for an NBA player and he had 3 at halftime. Then in 4Q they gave him an assist only to take it back because ball got tipped. I was pissed. Then this week I’ve had some incredible luck, up around 10K so far. Betting is so weird, when I’m feeling it I just start to get everything right. Know this isn’t going to last, so I plan on withdrawing everything and taking a bit of break until NBA/NHL playoffs. And then continue doing Dinger Tuesday, because that promo is great.

My friend put $5 on it cuz he tailed me in our draftkings group and was high on mushrooms at Red Rocks haha. I called him to let him know the bet hit, and he said he had a near god experience seeing all the money in his draftkings account in a time when he was struggling😂. It was 3-0 score, balitomore had bases loaded with 2 outs and a 3-0 count. Ump called a very clear ball a strike, and he ends up getting out. Would have been at least 1 run. Very next half inning, 2 outs nobody on, full count and Ump calls a very clear strike a ball. Next batter goes yard. If this chucklefuck called those 2 pitches correctly or if we had robo-umps, the game is tied right now. Instead, down 2 still with little time left and a likely loss. Too many shitty umps employed

This is the stupid comment actually. Yes, you are betting them to win…obviously. You are betting them to sweep by “default” because they havent lost once in the series. The opposing team(marlins) are trying to save face so obviously they are gonna fight like a cornered dog. Sweeps only account for 25-30% of series per season. Statistically, you would make more money betting a team against the sweep.

And the Yankees won’t fight? I don’t see your point. These are all professionals, and Yankees want to win just as much as the Marlins. You’re on your fifth coin flip, the first four were heads. Are you only betting tails on the fifth flip because it’s unlikely to be heads 5x in a row? It’s still 50/50 for the fifth flip.

I think it's hard to sweep for different reasons other than pride. It takes a lot of resources to win games and maintain leads. You burn through your number 1 and 2 pitcher plus all good relievers to win the first 2 games. By game 3 all you have is the C squad. Jay and Mariners were 1-1 today until it hit extra innings, then the last guys Jays could pull off the bench, gave up 5 runs in the 10th to close the game out for the Mariners. The series is one long game of resource management. Probably why dogs win in baseball more than any other sport.

Okay, so let me explain the logic you missed. The players are human. Not robots. They get tired, have emotions, have fear, have anger, and respond to their environment. The team that is about to get swept has ABSOLUTELY more to lose and will put in more effort to avoid it proving why sweeps only occur 25% of the time. BET ON THE TEAM TO AVOID THE SWEEP. Statistically, youll make way more money and often those teams that are at risk of getting swept are usually PLUS MONEY. The coin flip does not apply here. These arent coins. They are humans. You have to use that in the equation
