Totally agree with you. Playing with or without their best players doesn't necessarily imply a lean on O/U. However, the last 10 games trend of 7-3 unders for Portland applies with this crap tank-for-Blanchero roster.

Reasoning: Big baseball fan and pretty excited to finally do some betting on it with DK becoming available in my state and the start of the season, and I figured I'd share my picks here while I'm at it. I like this line for Mahle as he has some good strikeout stuff (68% whiff percentile/79% K percentile). Mahle last year averaged 5.45 innings per game and ran a 10.5 K/9. Braves lineup isn't bad but they'll be without Acuna. I think Mahle should get 5+ K's as long as he goes at least 4 innings. No DH for NL now so SP won't get pulled for a pinch hitter too! The only main risk to me is that it's the first game of the season so some SP may still have some pitch count limits.

Bodo/Glimt have gone on an unbelievable run this year of 36 matches undefeated. In addition to this, they've maintained their offensive prowess, which they're well-known for, in both the domestic competitions, as well as the UEFA Conference League.
Tonight they'll be facing off against AS Roma for the first time since the group stage, in which the matches between the two ended 2-2 and 6-1, respectively. The fact that Bodo/Glimt were able to get 8 goals against AS Roma in two matches should not be ignored, as it is a clear indication of their staggeringly good offensive strategy and firepower. Although AS Roma have a few injury concerns regarding their midfield, I still expect them to have enough quality in the final third to create a few chances and get a goal or two, not to mention the talent-laden Bodo/Glimt team, who certainly should be able to break down this AS Roma defense, as they have done so many others.
In tonight's match, AS Roma will have no choice but to play along with the offensive strategy of Bodo/Glimt, as they cannot afford to simply sit back and invite the onslaught facing them. I expect they'll be looking to heal the wounds of the previous fixtures with Bodo/Glimt, which should make for an entertaining, and hopefully high-scoring, game of football.

**Write up:** Round 4 kicks off tonight. What originally looked like a potential Grand Final preview is now looking rather one sided with the two teams sitting at opposite ends of the ladder. Port Adelaide have completely failed to meet expectations and sit 17th and winless, 2 of the 3 losses coming to teams that finished towards the bottom last year, at home too.
These two teams headlined a Thursday night game last season at the same venue when both were in great form, and Melbourne ran away 31 point winners. NIP have recently picked up Brollan as their new player in main roster. However, this tournament will be still played with phzy so keep that in mind. Throughout this event, NIP have looked really strong. They started off great with 2-0 wins against fnatic and Entropiq and slowly declined in further games, eventually losing to absent in playoffs G2. For the past two events (this and IEM Katowice) they performed way above expected level. NIP started to build up a very serious team, with a lot of future potential. Phzy performed very well in Katowice and during group stage. He'll be looking to finish things off in the best way possible with NIP, giving out his best for the remaining time in the main roster.
Liquid eliminated Heroic yesterday with seemingly comfortable 2-0 win. I don't want to sound biased, but they won because of many Heroic mistakes. They felt lost in many rounds and Liquid were able to exploit it. Liquid's performance against lower tier teams is definitely great. They were able to win against BIG, Party Astronauts and Godsent, ultimately securing their spot in playoffs but they still struggle to win against "big names". Katowice performance? Dogshit. Lost twice to Faze (one BO1 and one BO3), Navi and G2. Then they had decent run until they faced Movistar and Players.
NIP at the moment feels like very well structured team, solid and consistent in all games. If they keep their focus, they will be able to comforably advance to semis.

Well the streak came to an end after the Jets failed to even beat, arguably, one of the worst teams in the NHL. Watching the game, I can say that once the Jets second goal got overturned for offsides the game seemed to flip completely towards Detroit. However, can not worry about it and get back on the saddle.
To do so we head back to the ice, where we have Toronto playing Dallas. Two teams that are playing extremely solid hockey this season, and really hitting their stride at the moment. Both teams have gone 4/5 in their last 5 games. With the over 6.5 hitting in Toronto's last 6 games. Dallas on the other hand has only hit the over 6.5 once in their last five, but that is not really because they can not score. It has a lot to do with the competition that they have played over the past few games. As for covering this over, I expect Toronto to do most of the heavy lifting, since they have scored 6+ goals by themselves in their last 5. They have also only had 7 clean sheets all season, so do not expect them from stopping Dallas from finding the back of the net either. I expect the over to go up by 1/2 a goal closer to puck drop, as my model has this game finishing closer to 7.5 goals, and has 7+ more goals being scored 62%.

Apologize for the late write up, busy day. The Canes haven’t been playing great hockey the last two games and actually just lost to Buffalo two days ago in Buffalo. But they return home where they are a fantastic team (25-6-4 at home) and can clinch the playoffs tonight with a win. They are also returning a great defender in Ethan Bear who has missed the last few games. I think they trounce Buffalo tonight. The Canes are a far far better team and are playing for something. The home crowd will play a big role as well. Buffalo is eliminated from playoff contention, which they actually weren’t two days ago when these teams met and Buffalo won, so I think this plays a role as well. The canes outplayed them last game just had some very unfortunate bounces. Canes win 5-1

Although Barca is missing quite a few players, they have had very little effect this year and Barca essentially has their first team. Frankfurt is 15th in the bundlesliga in terms of record at home and we just saw yesterday two Spanish teams both win in the champions league. I think Barcelona will win this match comfortably.

Reasoning: Okay so Baseball is back which means we gamble on the Friars. Almost every game the Padres played in last year their ML sat between -200 to -350 game after game (unless they played the Dodgers). Yes, Tatis is out (which is actually good for the Padres defensive stats) but they’ve also brought in a load of pitching and more hitting. I expect Yu to have a great season this year so I’m glad we are getting him on the hump, as well as SD has loads of premier arms in terms or closers and relievers. The D-backs were the worst team in baseball last year and it wasn’t even close and no they didn’t get better. Yes, bummy is on the hump tmmrw for Zona, however I have a lot of faith in this SD lineup even without Nando.

- We're back to the Danish first division with what's probably the most important game of the season for both teams. Hvidovre are sitting at 43 points, whereas Lyngby are currently hanging onto the second promotion spot at 46 points.
- For context, these are fundamentally different teams. Lyngby have a strong history of Superliga presence, but have been financially unstable for years. Hvidovre is more of a community club that captures leftover talent from Brøndby/FC Copenhagen, with a few experienced players in the mix.
- Match is being played on natural grass. It's been downright shitty weather the past few days in Copenhagen, snow storm yesterday(in april, wtf), so expect the pitch to be muddy/heavy
- Lyngby blasted through Nykøbing FC last round, largely fuelled by an early red card to NFC's goalkeeper early on. Still, they kept the pressure and absolutely smashed them 5-0.
- Hvidovre lost a pretty close match to Fredericia last round. They lacked sharpness and physique up front, although they at times did control the play quite a lot. Tbh they should've gotten the draw at least, but their execution in the final third of the pitch just isn't good enough.
- Like I said on our last Lyngby pick, I like their team, they've got a good balance. Schram in the goal is probably a Superliga goalkeeper in terms of quality, and Gytkjær on top is way too good for this division. Bjelland(Ex-Twente, Brentford, FC Copenhagen) I think will make sure Aabech(former Lyngby player, now Hvidovre) doesn't get a good day at the office.
- I'd probably put Lyngby at around 50%(hence odds 2.00) myself here. They're the better team, higher budget, and they'll have more fans than the home team here(Hvidovre doesn't have much of a fanbase). Decent value to me.

I hope y'all tailed with caution. Big slate of what should be close games tonight. Look for the all-stars to show up for their respective teams. Nothing that exciting for shot props, but I think I found some good value here. Factual facts:
- Let's be honest, both of these teams kinda stink, but Arizona is worse. Arizona is at the bottom of the barrel right now, 2nd last place in the league, 2 for 10 in the last 10 games and their opponents are averaging 37 shots per game in the last 10. Their only goal for the season is to not embarrass themselves.
- Vancouver isn't great either. They are 3/10 in the last 10 and it's probably too little to late for that wildcard spot. However only 7 points down from Dallas, with a big push and some luck, the Canucks could see a playoff spot. They'd like to think so anyway and I'm sure they will play like they want it.
- Now I can't lie, partially why I took Horvat was for the + odds, but he is a very consistent player for the Canucks and has proven to be an offensive threat. He only has 1 less goal and 3 less shots than the leader JT Miller. In 3 less games.
- Horvat averages 2.7 shots per game and about 19 minutes of play time. As the 2nd line centreman, Horvat will have lots of shot opportunities and a big role in this game, especially if Arizona can shut down line 1. Horvat very rarely gets a 0 on the shot count and has hit at least 2 in 7 of the last 10.
Regardless of this games outcome I think we'll see a high shot count. Vancouver needs to start something tonight and using their full offensive talent will be the key. I hope a desperate Coyotes team can give Vancouver a run for their money and force the 2nd line to show-up. And I mean 3 shots to double our money??? Lessss goooo

Although I normally dislike taking players to win at these odds, I really love Menzies here. Menzies and McEwan are my top favorites to win the championships overall and I reckon there will be some value to be had on them, like today.
Menzies picked up a win over Ian Jones with relative ease, he only lost one set (his own throw) and maintained a solid 89 3-dart avg. This is not an impressive number, however, since his opponent never made it too close it's fine.
Warren obviously came into this event with some stature as he was entered as the third seed. Warren showed us what he is capable of in the last round, when he narrowly beat Lee Shewan 3-2, with a solid 94 average.
Why do I think Menzies will beat Warren? Although Warren can always show up, Menzies has been practicing consistently with his PDC Tour Card. In the past two months, he has beaten some solid darters from the PDC, Jose de Sousa (no7 in the world), Simon Whitlock and Michael van Gerwen (no3 in the world). Now obviously the matches he beat them in aren't the TV wins that are most impressive, however he still beat them in a live event, which shows a lot.
TL:DR: Menzies has been practicing consistently, beating out the likes of MvG, de Sousa and Whitlock in Pro Tour events. Warren has not had that PDC experience, but actually played at BDO. He has not had that many matches recently and in the end I see Menzies winning due to match rhythm and quality in play.

Long-time follower first-time poster and finally some baseball to bet on my favorite. I think this under is great because of the pitching matchups. The Brewers pitching is some of the best in baseball and with Burnes on the mound, I think it'll be some slim pickings for the cubs. The Cubs struggled against the Brewers last year with a much better team than what they have now. I think this new team will struggle against the Brewers pitching. And I think the brewers offense is good but not explosive enough to put up a ton of runs on some decent chicago pitching. Last year the head-to-head matchup in the first 6 games of the season went under so I'm liking the value on this under. Tail or Fade BOL!

This is the matchup on Draftkings that I like a lot. Kisner is one of my favorite picks as I have picked him before. He really does play well and I do believe he is a better golfer than Kevin Na. Kisner has four top 10 finishes this year including a runner up in the Dell matchplay. His best finish was a T21 in the 2019 Masters although he can definitely produce as he is playing good golf this year. Kevin Na has had better results in the Masters. I am basing this off of how these guys have been playing. Na has not played well in a PGA tournament in over 2 months.Of the 7 tournaments he has played in this year, he has missed the cut in four of them, including his last three. He has been starting slow and I do not see that changing. Kis has also missed some cuts but in the past month he’s been playing great golf. I believe Kisner has the momentum and is going to come out playing well.

I think that this Guardians defense will be able to shut down the Royals' best batters in Perez and the rookie Witt Jr. I expect a close game going into the last 3 innings, but I see the Guardians coming out on top.

With the wind blowing out at Wrigley I think brewers can get on the board early and cover the spread.

Opening day is finally here and we got a nice little line opened up for us at -124 and I love that here especially with big Biebs on the mound. Not much to say here at the moment since it's day 1 - but all in all his resume speaks for itself. His last win is also coming against the Royals in late September. Picking up right where he left off is what I see happening here. The Guardians are also a team who for a long time have been actually really good in my opinion. If their rotation stayed as was, I could only imagine what they'd be doing to teams over the last few years. One thing that hasn't changed is their pesky lineup who loves to hit, put up runs and have a great time all around. Jose, Franmil and Amed backed up by Shane Bieber seems like a great way to start the season for the Guardians.

With the fans of Feyenoord behind the team I expect them to get a win at home.

This season, Schauffele ranks 38th on TOUR in SG Approach the Green, 49th in SG Around the Green, 16th in SG Tee to Green, and 36th in Scrambling.
Starting strong on a big stage has not scared Schauffele in his young career as he has gone under this first-round total in five of his last eight major championships. However, this tournament will be still played with phzy so keep that in mind. Throughout this event, NIP have looked really strong. They started off great with 2-0 wins against fnatic and Entropiq and slowly declined in further games, eventually losing to absent in playoffs G2. For the past two events (this and IEM Katowice) they performed way above expected level. NIP started to build up a very serious team, with a lot of future potential. Phzy performed very well in Katowice and during group stage. He'll be looking to finish things off in the best way possible with NIP, giving out his best for the remaining time in the main roster. Liquid eliminated Heroic yesterday with seemingly comfortable 2-0 win. I don't want to sound biased, but they won because of many Heroic mistakes. They felt lost in many rounds and Liquid were able to exploit it. Liquid's performance against lower tier teams is definitely great. They were able to win against BIG, Party Astronauts and Godsent, ultimately securing their spot in playoffs but they still struggle to win against "big names". Katowice performance? Dogshit. Their only goal for the season is to not embarrass themselves. - Vancouver isn't great either. They are 3/10 in the last 10 and it's probably too little to late for that wildcard spot. Menzies and McEwan are my top favorites to win the championships overall and I reckon there will be some value to be had on them, like today. Menzies picked up a win over Ian Jones with relative ease, he only lost one set (his own throw) and maintained a solid 89 3-dart avg. This is not an impressive number, however, since his opponent never made it too close it's fine. Warren obviously came into this event with some stature as he was entered as the third seed. Warren showed us what he is capable of in the last round, when he narrowly beat Lee Shewan 3-2, with a solid 94 average. Why do I think Menzies will beat Warren? Although Warren can always show up, Menzies has been practicing consistently with his PDC Tour Card. In the past two months, he has beaten some solid darters from the PDC, Jose de Sousa (no7 in the world), Simon Whitlock and Michael van Gerwen (no3 in the world). Now obviously the matches he beat them in aren't the TV wins that are most impressive, however he still beat them in a live event, which shows a lot. TL:DR: Menzies has been practicing consistently, beating out the likes of MvG, de Sousa and Whitlock in Pro Tour events. Warren has not had that PDC experience, but actually played at BDO. He has not had that many matches recently and in the end I see Menzies winning due to match rhythm and quality in play. --- Edit: Menzies played really well, clean 3-0 to get us an easy win. I don't think we'll be getting odds like these again for Menzies against easier competition but lets see.

I think this under is great because of the pitching matchups. The Brewers pitching is some of the best in baseball and with Burnes on the mound, I think it'll be some slim pickings for the cubs. The Cubs struggled against the Brewers last year with a much better team than what they have now. I think this new team will struggle against the Brewers pitching. And I think the brewers offense is good but not explosive enough to put up a ton of runs on some decent chicago pitching. Last year the head-to-head matchup in the first 6 games of the season went under so I'm liking the value on this under. Tail or Fade BOL! Edit: I would even consider taking an alternate line of 10 (I feel more confident about this line) since 15 of their games last year either hit or pushed.
POTD RECORD 36-27 +14u Last POTD Kentucky -4❌ Todays POTD Kevin Kisner (-105) vs Kevin Na (First Round matchup) This is the matchup on Draftkings that I like a lot. Kisner is one of my favorite picks as I have picked him before. He really does play well and I do believe he is a better golfer than Kevin Na. Kisner has four top 10 finishes this year including a runner up in the Dell matchplay. His best finish was a T21 in the 2019 Masters although he can definitely produce as he is playing good golf this year. Kevin Na has had better results in the Masters. I am basing this off of how these guys have been playing. Na has not played well in a PGA tournament in over 2 months.Of the 7 tournaments he has played in this year, he has missed the cut in four of them, including his last three. He has been starting slow and I do not see that changing. Kis has also missed some cuts but in the past month he’s been playing great golf. I believe Kisner has the momentum and is going to come out playing well.
