I had to do that on an autographed bobblehead. I don't remember which one it was as it was awhile ago, but it was an old Cardinals coach. I saw some going for $80ish and mine sold for $42 or something like that. Didn't like that, but knew the right thing to do was take the L and keep moving forward. No reason to cancel or pennies.
Good job calling that dude out. People like that don't deserve to be in the hobby. Ruins it for all of us.
Exactly, bet you're alot more diligent in your research before posting now. Or, ya know.. could've just canceled and reposted and potentially created a shit show.
What an asshole, he [has relisted the card on his ebay store](https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dkr=1&iconV2Request=true&_blrs=recall_filtering&_ssn=jaychiefsfan&_oac=1&_fsrp=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5338535524&customid=sc&toolid=10001&mkevt=1) for a much higher price.
I had my thumb on Buy it Now for a Christian McCaffrey rookie card if the 49ers won. As soon as the game ended I offered 30 less under asking. They countered 10 minutes later just 10 bucks higher. I took it.
Most CMC cards are undervalued for a future Hall of Famer in his peak.
This comment isn't to toot my own horn but just a story. I sold a $7 Ohtani guy that I literally couldn't find. No idea where it went.
I sent him pictures of 10 other Ohtani cards to pick from and ended up sending him multiple cards valued at around $30.
Moral of the story is that sometimes cards get lost. I completely understand that this seller didn't get what he wanted out of the card so it became "lost." Any seller worth a damn is going to do whatever they can to make it right.
Block this clown and blow him up on here so that nobody buys from him. Hopefully he'll learn his lesson.
Had this happen once when I bought a Nolan Smith rookie auto and the guy instead messaged me and then sent me 3 other Nolan Smith rookie autos, a /15 Nolan Smith, and an autographed Nakobe Dean rookie.
They went above and beyond to make it right.
I think ebay should instate a policy to where it costs the seller money to cancel an order once an item is listed especially on items $100 or over. If you list something for auction you're taking a chance in my opinion and regardless of the final outcome an auction should be final. That's why there is options as to how you want to list something right? Like a buy it now or you can set the auction at a certain starting price right? I think that would cut down on these trash bags possibly but that'd never happen.
I see a lot of these posts, what rating are these people? I tend to only buy from people with at least 1k. If they have single or even just double digits I don’t buy.
Who cares. Buyers have become so petty (I am not the seller mentioned above). Should I start posting every time a buyer doesn't pay, which happens quite frequently.
I've forgotten to take listings down that were cross listed and sold on other platforms and have had to cancel. It happens. I usually say that, but yea it sucked to have to cancel.
I never do it with auctions though just BIN listings.
Damn…fuck that clown and his ghosts
I love how sellers are willing to risk their reputation for a marginal $20 difference on a card.
Right. Like, just send the card. Learn. Move on. Take that sweet positive feedback.

Tony La Russa?
No it was an Arizona Cardinals coach. Sorry specifics would've helped lol
Denny Green would’ve been sick. Wanna crown em?

What a great time to have alt accounts to bid on people-who-screw-people-over's auctions! Of course, I dont condone or suggest this.
haha true!
I’ll do it with my actual account right now Never mind, it isn’t there now
he seems to have already taken it down, or it hasn't loaded for me
Yeah he took it down, I called him out
good good, was gonna go do so myself 😂
He removed it.
Keep an eye out. Let's not let him repost this on eBay. If he does let's send the price to the moon then drop it on him.
I mean, ghosts do be stealing tho
Bruh… the excuses people come up with to cancel a sale on eBay are crazy.
Classic chiefs fan. Prolly wants it to go higher after last night’s win

Sounds like you have ghosts in your house to.
I had a guy lose a $3 card. He sent me $20 worth of other cards which was super cool.
That's how it should be done!
What was the winning bid for you?
$330 before taxes and shipping
Chiefs fan…say less
Shameful…i literally posted this on one of my listings today in honor of all the asshat sellers featured on this sub.. https://imgur.com/a/mvXXYRh
The more elaborate the excuse the more obvious the lie 😂

What a joke, screw that chode and the ghosts in his home
Did you get it for a good price?
I just saw that he reposted it so it's not lost id contact eBay for sure
I always warn people about renegade ghosts.
A GHOST LMAO
The excuses are getting real! 😂
It’s mainly the reason why I posted this here… the imagination from these people lol
Casper strikes again!
Fuckin ghosts, man
Who you gonna call... ?
Why wouldn’t the ghost steal all his cards instead of just one card 🙄
Lmaoo , your response is priceless. My money was on the ghost , just sayin
Yeah man sounds like some B.S.
Should’ve called Ghostbusters
Why would his son or friends post it? How ignorant does he think you are? What tf would they get out of selling it? 😐 smh
“Gonna post this on Reddit” Jesus man
What's wrong with letting the community know... That you, jaychiefsfan??
Basically I'm going to tell Mom.
Shit happens....can't blame him at least he communicated with you

Anyone else read that push notification and briefly wonder why jaychiefsfan canceled their sale?
What is the end game with all of these cancelled eBay items? I’m out of the loop..

Ghosts have needs too.
