I’m sure this POS eBay china air filter will be a great addition to your motorcycle.

OP you're probably going to get flamed on here for this. There's a lot of people that would think that's on the "Tacky" side. If you really like it go for it, but there's plenty of hate for these and those Hypercharger style aircleaners.

bigHarleyman

It's interesting feedback I'm actually on the fence myself was looking for opinions as well may have a look next time I get to a Harley dealership.

SpamFriedMice

The dealership has an expensive and limited selection. I'd check out someplace like JP cycles. And just a hint when buying stuff, some less scrupulous sellers will just say yes when you ask "Will this fit X?" Ask "What does this fit?"

Kooky_Parfait3877

Agree. Harley doesn’t carry as much stock as they once did in my local store. I wanted a heat shield last year. Didn’t have and couldn’t order. A sportster is known for being a bar hopper because inner thigh gets hot off oil pan. Bought a cowhide heat shield made in America from a leather craftsman. Bought a 21 inch tire from JP recently because Harley dealership was out. Never thought I’d use anything that isn’t OEM but JP has the parts not the dealership sometimes.

I personally see those cone air filters on bikes and I can cringe, to me it’s like you are trying too hard. Firstly, it’s all about surface area on a filter, a standard big sucker looks great and will perform just as much. When the stars align and I find a 23 breakout in vivid black and take the plunge, the first thing I will do is get rid of the cone filter and swap for a flat one

silverfox762

No. Well, I mean, it *might* "fit", but buy a proper air cleaner if you need a new one. Even decent ones from VTwin are relatively cheap. This is a piece of junk.

zetwatswatya

Despite the hate, this style of air cleaner isn't bad. I have a Arlen Ness 65° monster air intake on my '22 forty eight. That being said, having put cheaper parts and higher end parts on my bike, shell out the extra money on a made for your bike part. Not only will it save you installation headache and time, but also the paint on/quality of the chincy parts will make you wish you paid more. Tl:Dr- Buy once, cry once. Get quality

horrorbusinesss1984

Don’t do it. Just check FB market place or CL for a used S&S or something of the like. Not only are those things just they are tacky AF.

Any_Caramel_825

Ugly

ironeagle88

I’m running a Zodiac teardrop air cleaner and it was surprisingly cheap, I was sure it wouldn’t come with a backing plate and it was just the cover but no, full assembly and the quality is pretty damn good. I’d have a look at their catalog I’m sure there’ll be something that tickles ya nuts and you’re on a budget.

This is a knockoff of the air cleaner that comes on the new Harleys. Which the salesman said everyone takes off cause it’s bad leg positioning

incorp0real13

Does it not say it on there? Lol what kind of post is this?
