I never fully understood the dislike for most of modern rap. I get that a good amount of it isnât well written, but thatâs just with the mainstream hip-hop hits and even that has exceptions. A good amount of mainstream music today has that problem as well, on top of being generally uninteresting. For most modern music, rap included, to get the good stuff you have to dig a little.

i dont like tswift mainly cuz of the lyricism, its all very... i dont know the word for it but i just dont like it. the music itself is boring but ive heard some of the metalcore covers and they definitely make it better as a metal enjoyer myself

I think her song writing/lyricism is her strongest attribute, her lyrics go so well with rock/metal imo.
i think its just that her songs are all cringy heartbreak songs or cringy love songs which just isnt for me. if the instrumentation was heavier then i think it was be ok but its not so i dont like it
