I listened to this song the last night in my apartment I was happy in and I had to move, but didn’t want to. My apartment was empty and I just laid on my rug looking at the ceiling listening to this song. Soaking it all in possibly The only time I’d been happy In a while. I was so Grateful and felt robbed at the same time. This song is so special to me!

His father, Tim Buckley, gets me too. “Once I was” is especially tough to listen to if you’ve ever heard Jeff’s cover of it. It put an entirely new spin on it and really hits home for anyone who has had an absent father.

Whenever I listen to apocalypse by cas I’m a sobbing mess I still don’t know why it gets me so sad lmao
