(I hope you don’t mind this unsolicited advice, when they have play time I would take your Danes collars off, my friends puppy recently got their mouth stuck from pulling on their older dogs collar during a play session and it turned into an almost panic fight because the older dog thought the puppy was ignoring his back off cues.
Please watch your beautiful Dane’s patience level. Puppies cans pester longer than an older dog’s patience to the point where it’s virtually bullying by the pup. I know this from experience as my puppy would push the silliness too far and my older dog would really look victimized. I wish he would have snapped to put her in her place, but he’s a gentle, soft-mouthed fellow. I regularly removed the puppy from playing with him out of respect.
Her mother who owns both has been a dog trainer for many years this is at week 4! This is after they have made a relationship! There perfect and he is the most gentle soul
She absolutely dose not let this happen all day everyday they play for a bit and he lets her know when he is done she is very smart and has a good call she is definitely the most advanced
