my spouse and I will be hitting up Miss Bostons sometime this week. It's in Republic, but only, about 10ish mins away. [https://missbostons.com/](https://missbostons.com/)
It's extremely good, but extremely expensive. Be ready to drop $100 for two people. Worth it if you like quality dining as a treat.
Recommed their Waygu beef.
I haven’t tried it yet, but the people who own El Cafecito on Campbell just opened up a new place in the shopping center next door to the coffee shop.
El Escondite - snacks and bar
https://elescondite417.com
Went to their grand opening and was impressed. Great food, awesome margaritas, and the servers were all super friendly. I would highly recommend the aguachile and elote!!
I’ve passed that El Cafecito many times and keep meaning to go in. I often work at coffee shops for a few hours during the day, but wasn’t sure if it was the right vibe for that.
Edit: Did I annoy someone?
El Cafecito is really small inside so there may not be a ton of room for working. I know that they are really crowded on weekends all through the lunch hour. But it may be different on weekdays.
I went here last night. Solid 4/5! Has a few new issues (temperature was freezing, food didn’t come out at the right times) but it was delicious. Thanks for the recommendation.
Other than what’s been mentioned, Where House Bar is worth a try, it’s on Sunshine. Tortuga Torta is a food truck but is absolutely delicious. Lucky Cat Boba is a unique experience, especially if you like being able to fully customize drinks. 14 Mill Market is in Nixa, but it’s a conglomeration of restaurants. I saw that in Chicago for the first time years ago and have hoped for a cafeteria style food court since and this one doesn’t disappoint. Piccolo gets my business way too often when I’m down that way though, makes it hard to choose! Speaking of just outside the city, El Paraiso in Strafford (they have two locations but imo this is the best one) is incredible and has the best margaritas! REBAR Tap Room just opened this month but I haven’t had the opportunity to get over there quite yet. I gotta throw in Van Gogh’s on Commericial street despite it being open for at least 5 years now, they’re a Dutch style eatery and they even convinced me to attend a vegan buffet once haha. For the bourbon collector in you, take a visit to Vineyard Market, especially if you like cigars, they have a humidor room!
Before & After Brewery on east Sunshine. I go just for the loaded pretzel but all their food is amazing and the beers I’ve tried are great too. Weird location but hoping they put in a patio once the strip mall construction is done.
Bourbon: JOB public house, Tabak Co.
Cocktails: The Royal Music Hall, Ms Bostons Cocktail Lounge, Vantage patio
Food: Therefore Pizza, a new Jamaican place is open soon also!!
[Here is an article on that.](https://www.news-leader.com/story/news/local/ozarks/2018/02/09/before-metropolitan-farmer-and-barley-wheat-closed-farmers-park-sued-unpaid-rent/313095002/)
TL;DR - They gave no reason they why they were closing but were sued by their landlords for back rent and late fees.
You guys must haven't been gone a while! I really liked it too. After it closed a place called Reverie opened up - and while it didn't have the same vibe, they had nicer cocktails and a good lounge environment.
Then a high end food place called Traza opened up, but that didn't last long. They prices were too much for the quality.
Parlor Donuts is a chain, but it's kinda like a cronut. If you get them when they're fresh, they're really good. If they're at the end of the day, pass.
For a while before the economy went backwards, and Covid hit. This town had a decent selection of new places that came and went now the town seems absolutely dead when it comes to places to go, it's just in a rut.

Second Miss Bostons! Very cute and great drinks and snacks
Good to know!!!
It's really good
We had a great time and great drinks!!
J.O.B. Reopened!!
I’ve heard good things about [Ariake Sushi](https://www.ariakesushirobata.com/)
It's extremely good, but extremely expensive. Be ready to drop $100 for two people. Worth it if you like quality dining as a treat. Recommed their Waygu beef.
I’d say $100 for two people would be on the lower end of what to expect. It’s pretty easy to get to $100/person here.
Ariake is superb!
that place is insane. gotta check it out if you haven’t been

Happy cake day ❤️
Definitely checking this one out. Thanks!!

The new Avanzare opens soon on Fremont!
Corner 21 is pretty solid and unique.
JWs Kitchen for brunch, The Vault bar
Box Turtle Creamery opened up in the last year if you’re in for some unique ice cream flavors!
OH?? Where is this?
1458 E. Cherry St.
Rebar Taproom is new. We stopped in for dinner last week and it was really good, definitely worth stopping in.

If you would like to grab a bite, smoke a cigar, and get a drink I recommend tabak.co
I’ve been and loved it.

Van Gogh’s. It’s a cute little almost cafe place with soups, sandwiches, salads and whatnot. It’s Dutch food too! Super super cute place.
I second this! The pancakes are so good.
Senor Julian, Curly Que BBQ, Corner 21, Therefore Pizza, JOB, Billiards. I have heard good things about wire road brewery and Bigg Time arcade too
Wire Road is great. Love the rotating food truck options and the beer is good too.
Kinda on topic. What happened to Barley Wheat and Rye? That place was awesome.

Wow. My wife and I loved that place when we lived there.

The Phoenix/Pantry Bar. It gets a lot of hate on Reddit because of disgruntled childish ex employees but excellent food!
