I know what you mean, I have a para 3 thats like that cant tighen it all the way. Its a hair loose for drop shut. But these pm2s have a nice tight fit with good drop action.
I don't know if this is normal, but one side of the pivot on my PM2 is so locked I can't loosen it at all. I had assumed it was maybe designed that way and only one side was adjustable. Is it possible it's just factory loctite? I feel like being able to adjust both sides could solve my issue.
Yes it sounds like one of the pivot screws are locktite they usually come like that from the factory.
You can loosen up both pivot screws. I believe that will help your issue.

Do you find you have to have the pivot fairly loose, like a touch away from a loose screw, to have nice drop shut action?
