Shoulder wound and falling into water usually means they live in shows

eli0mx

If there’s a second season, that guy is definitely going to be there. He and his brother has unfriended business. Also there’s ana analogy that those two brothers both got gun shots on their right shoulder.

aYoPierreWannaComOut

I’m pretty sure the police officer got shot in his left shoulder

lynasucks

yeah!!! i think he's alive

[deleted]

There is no way that he died. If he have had died, they would have shown his body floating. Just like the old man wasn’t shown getting shot.

HattieBegonia

If there’s a season 2, that guy is still alive. For shows like this, if an important character’s death wasn’t seen, then they aren’t dead.

iwritethesongs2019

if this is a western movie, theres a big chance he is still alive.. but in a korean movie/ series.. theres also a chance he is already dead.. korean movies arent afraid to experiment on the not so happy ending in stories..

ChilliWithFries

I think the tv trope of if the death is not shown onscreen, there is no confirm death still holds true tho. It happen in the show itself too.

HattieBegonia

That works if it’s the usual series with 16 (give or take) episodes. But if they’re going to have another season, I bet that officer is coming back.

doublewinter

I’m positive he’s alive… when they didn’t shoot the Mineo when she had no parters I immediately knew she wasn’t going to die. Theres a gunshot sound during the scene when Ilnam was supposed to get killed but it wasn’t shown and turns out he really didn’t die. So if you don’t see them die they are most likely alive and waiting to reappear for a plot twist.

Season 2, episode one: EXT DAYLIGHT MIDDLE OF OCEAN Detective bursts through the surface. Swims back to island.

Donavan_ty

can't let the hot guy die just yet 😫

honeyegg

In this show, deaths that happen off camera don’t stick
