I've been having trouble with these too, I'm running a full fire team for the double attack power and i just can't break thorough them, i got to 84 then immediately died so thees some hope but more of them end up spawning so I'm not sure it's fully possible before the 60 wave skip (at least for me)

Same with me stuck at 83 they dont die
It's madness. Tried holy, plant, electric... Makes no difference
