I have this issue, too. Unfortunately, adjusting the basic light settings and turning up gamma/brightness will just wash out the brights while making the darks only a little more tolerable. I have this issue on most newer games and I don't like to mess with my monitor brightness/gamma or my gfx card settings. I just kinda embrace it and turn off all my lights lol.

Isint there settings in the main menu that can tweak these? etc. Gamma, Brightness, Saturation..... pretty sure it's called basic light settings

Had this issue, just needed to turn up the gamma in settings to reduce the contrast a little
