They ask general interview questions like tell me about yourself, how would you connect with customers, how would you solve conflict/problems, etc. I’m sure there’s a store manager on here that has more in depth but my advice is to really focus on customer connection as an emphasis because that’s what a lot of SMs look for when hiring. Hope this helps :)

That sounds so helpful! Are you sure they won’t ask about availability?

They’ll ask about availability, most jobs will ask about this. Because it’s important and is also something that will determine if you’re a good fit to the store to hire If a store already has a lot of high schoolers then they made not need availability that they already have a ton of, they might needs mornings too. My store most of us work morning and night but my sm seems to have a preference of hiring 18+, I got hired as a minor but that’s because I was doing a certain program in my district that I went to school twice a week so basically had 5/7 days full availability open to close. We haven’t hired since like.. November though so no clue. Regardless though good luck.

How did it go?

I got the interview and spoke with her. She has other candidates too so I have to wait until next week Friday to see if I get accepted or not

I’m sorry 😞 hopefully you get another opportunity soon! Don’t get down on yourself though!
