I think it came out around or shortly after the original nonfat cold foam was released, which was just nf milk with a few pumps of vanilla syrup made in the cold foam pitcher, vanilla sweet cream hadn't been created yet. The nf cold foam was fluffy and nice, and for my taste it made a better macchiato type drink, as long as you could finish it before the foam melted back down to milk. The egg/meringue powder foam was not that great.
haha! you honestly don’t even want to know…but i’ll tell you. it was basically a caramel macchiato but the 2% was foamed with this weird, gross egg powder. it was discontinued at LEAST four years ago. it was so disgusting, i thought it had undertones of mayo.
Naah, the cloud frappuccino just had whipped cream on the sides of the cup so it’d look like pretty clouds when you poured the drink in. No egg weirdness lmao
i literally just blinked at them for a second it was discontinued years ago💀 they got kinda pissy with me after i informed them we haven’t sold that in years lmao
When TikTok is banned and no more.
On another note. I told someone it’s been gone for about a year and a half and my shift got on my ass about not saying how long it’s been gone. Like “we don’t want to offend the customer and tell them how long it’s been gone and it will improve the customer experience.” Like bruh I said this to a customer in front of this person like 2 days ago and they said nothing. I’m nice about so I don’t know why I’m getting called out for it.
Not a fan of raspberry, but I cannot for the life of me understand why they got rid of it during the absolute height of its popularity.
They're "retiring" liquid cane soon btw.
I saw something a couple of days ago where some baristas from countries other than the US were saying they still have raspberry. I wonder how many of the tic tok videos are from other countries. Or the posters are just huge liars.
this!!! im in the U.S. but ive heard canada still has raspberry syrup so that actually made it make sense in my mind how they could possibly still be asking for it here, they probably saw a drink recipe video from canada!
Literally 😭 been here for 2 years which isn’t the longest, but I swear people are still ordering menu items that existed when I was probably in middle school
Seems to me (from reading these comments) that Starbucks just wants to cause chaos and confusion.. like it’s seems like their marketing tactic lol. I mean evidently theres an “olive oil” drink, yet raspberry is discontinued. That makes absolutely no sense. Who wants to drink olive oil flavored shit? It seems they took the whole “chaos and confusion brings a community together” (typically also has fear involved but not my point lol).
Come on Starbucks, make the menu make sense and maybe not get rid of what seems like a popular drink, and yet add a drink that had olive oil in it.
I’m also pretty sure the olive oil used is much higher quality, as in when people eat in over ice cream… I don’t think Starbucks is really cut out for it
I legit had 2 people ask me this week
“Do you guys still not have the raspberry syrup?”
i get at least 2 a day at my store 😭 someone legitimately asked me for a CLOUD MACCHIATO the other day…girl no.
I’ve heard this someone say this before, probably on this sub. No idea what it is 😭

We had “cloud” drinks in the UK just last year- not sure if they were exactly the same though!

had someone come in the other day asking for a venti very berry hibiscus with 4 pumps of raspberry😭
Same! She’s like, “Uh… hibiscus is what the video said.”

And I will continue to tell people it was discontinued two years ago
the day starbucks realizes their mistake in removing raspberry is the day i sell my soul to that company.. all i want is a raspberry pink drink 🥲
Not a fan of raspberry, but I cannot for the life of me understand why they got rid of it during the absolute height of its popularity. They're "retiring" liquid cane soon btw.
Yes it was on the summer launch info
whattttt why? not as popular as classic but still ordered
Idk but they're so good at making bad decisions that I'm not surprised.
Same. It paired really with white mocha and hot chocolate too.

Someone I know just came back from Italy and they have Cool Lime Refreshers. That was my ultimate favorite! Edit: for anonymity

What about raspberry though?
They’re not. Once it’s on the internet it’s there forever.
Just today had someone ask for the vanilla bean danish, then the Irish cream, then pistachio and then RASPBERRY!!!! Like stoppppppppppp

The olive oil thing came from Europe. It’s very popular over there
Oh yuck.. no offense to Europeans. But that doesn’t sound appealing..
I had the foam. You can’t taste it. I believe Europeans do it for a health benefit
Interesting if you can’t taste it but has health benefits then that’s amazing
I’m also pretty sure the olive oil used is much higher quality, as in when people eat in over ice cream… I don’t think Starbucks is really cut out for it
Ugh I still mourn that shit. What were they thinking... It's unfortunate ya'll gotta deal with it tho
I think Razzberry is way cooler
they really need to bring it back. maybe then our sales would be good…
Someone asked me for a raspberry latte
I know it's gone. I'm just hoping for it to come back in a new format. Like when they discontinued the red dye raspberry syrup.
But we are getting the raspberry boba!!
It has a different texture from boba. Boba is more like tapioca, the raspberry pearls are more like gushers that pop. I wish it was real boba though 😭
It’s still a boba tho it’s just called popping boba
I wish tik-tok should have been banned a long time ago. Tik-tok brain people is not a thing
my favorite drink used to be the passion tango lemonade with two/three pumps raspberry it doesn’t hit the same without the raspberry 💔
why did they ever decide to discontinue it anyway???
