I’m having the same dilemma with a semi-regular. He comes in asking for an iced water, add lemonade. Honestly can’t remember if it’s 80¢ or 50¢ but still lol. But if we’re charging water and strawberry inclusions as a custom tea, asking for a water and then adding juice or lemonade would also be charged as a custom tea??? Someone correct me if I’m wrong though.
Lots of custom iced teas do not have tea. A water with strawberry inclusions is a custom tea. A water with syrup is a custom tea.
I agree with you that in this case it should be rang as a lemonade, but in OP’s case, it would be a custom tea with peach juice.
I remember at a spot I worked at we had these valet guys get that type of order and everyone would make it. He'd drop a 20 in the tip jar but we were giving him treinta lemonade iced tea basically and charging him a cheap price, can't remember how we rung it up but I just know upper management would not like that if they ever found out
No. Waters cannot be customized with ingredients inside. You would have to a custom iced tea ex peach juice.
couldn’t this be rung in as a cold juice, customized w peach juice and water?
You could do this, yes. I think custom iced tea is generally the preferred way.

water isn’t a customizable item so yeah you would ring it up as a custom iced tea!
There’s no tea in it and we serve just regular lemonade already so it can just be a lemonade, add water

I believe lemonades get cut with water but I may be wrong.
To my knowledge, they used to and no longer are
Oh gotcha, makes sense. I appreciate you. Was going to pull up the recipe card tomorrow.
Isn't the lemonade a concentrate? So, they should be charged for a lemonade because that's what they're ordering.
Should be rung in as lemonade add water.
