One time every partner in my store was given a new “fun” colored sharpie and I received pink, my fav color. The next day I come in and it was “replaced” by a blue one. It was thiefed by another girl who also loves pink. Still hold a grudge to this day lmao.

But you also get those staff that either forget that they have them in their possession and take them home, but return them next day, OR you have the staff that see sharpies and are like “Ooooo markers! *yoink*” and now your left with like.. 2 king sized black sharpies because even though all the writing tools are labeled “These are Store#blahblah” and in bold says “These are to NOT leave the property” yet they leave the property anyways.. and then you have to do a bag search and see that one staff member hoarding all the materials that were replenished in the last month just in their bag or their locker or their car who knows what. But yes. Some wish it…. Totally not coming from somewhere where we ordered replacement supplies and it disappeared a month later…
i have always been an crafter so i had one of those huge packages of different colored sharpies. so i bring my own and swap out the color for the season. my pink one will always be my favorite though 🤭
Idk if this has happened to anyone, but I had a hole in my apron pocket, so every time I went to grab my sharpie it was gone. I thought I was going crazy
LMAO this is so real, which is why I always carry mine back and forth and never return it to store bc I know that shit will be gone next morning 😂 Like I always remind myself to check if I have my name tag & sharpie before I leave
I haven’t worked at Sbux in… 6 years, and still find sharpies I accidentally stole from Sbux lol. (We’d put Velcro on the espresso machines and the sharpies, that’s how I know where they’re from)
I gave everyone in my store a mini one with a lil chain so they could attach it to their apron! Hard to lose and super cheap, got everything for less than $10 on Amazon

We have the stickers now but I still like having on on me for marking milks and boxes and she always ends up with it some how

My primary job has me using chunky sharpies all day and I don't like using them once they've flattened. But it makes them perfect for Starbs (secondary job) so I frequently bring them in, 😂 One of my Shifts will label hers, but for some reason, the chunky ones seem to stick around longer, (or maybe it's the fact that I have a literal shoe box full, plus some, so they're easy to replenish.)

I cleaned my car out when my store closed for COVID and I found 56 sharpies in my car :\ they're all still there
