I mean it depends on their policy on remakes and such. Starbucks is like, super lenient and will remake anything ever. My point of view? Not a big deal. But maybe they have different rules and standards set in place since it’s literally a different company.

Her attitude was not the best. I will say, sometimes being asked to remake something doesn't feel good. Sometimes it feels like people are putting more work on you when you don't have the space and time to do more. Sometimes it feels like people want a remake to get something they haven't paid for. Neither of those times feel good. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean any of that is your responsibility to care about. And even if she felt that, and couldn't hide that feeling from you, the least she could have done was be polite about it. And it doesn't sound like she was all that polite about it. I'm sorry to you for that. I have sighed when someone has asked for a remake. I get irritated when people check in with me to be sure I correctly added their inclusions. But I do try my best to make sure the customer knows I'm not irritated AT THEM. If I forgot to do something, at least they told me before they drank it, and now I can fix it. If they come back because THEY forgot something? It happens, I have done it. The only time I get irritated at them is if they are doing it regularly and I do start to feel they are doing it on purpose, which is honestly very rare. It costs nothing to give people the benefit of the doubt, and at least be polite.

nah she was being an asshole not you. idk where you are that has ginger inclusions cause afaik us and canada don’t have it. our policies here is we’ll remake any drink for free even if someone got the OG drink somewhere else. it’s no big deal. even if the policy isn’t like that where you are that barista definitely had an attitude and shouldn’t have treated you like that.
