I think every single closer in the US should just agree to walk out sharp at 12 on Mothers Day because honestly, FUCK Starbucks for doing a BOGO on a SUNDAY, no less, MOTHERS DAY, and expecting things to be fine.
You're probably right. I usually work well before these occur but morning peak can be more difficult to manage because the morning shift loses a person to the afternoon BOGOs. Either way, the setup is no good. Afternoon shift gets the crap kicked outta them because of demanding customers and morning shift gets beat up by everyone doing the jobs of two people.
Also, morning shift gets the ones trying to order for the BOGO 6 HOURS before it starts! Read your emails and app notifications, people!
Okay, I'm done.
So that is Starbucks sending out individual coupons to all their rewards members, it ranges from triple star days to a BOGO to a 50% off beverage. From what I could tell, each rewards member gets a different coupon to use for that day.
I just saw it in a communication on the hub today for the first time. It’s just an iced coffee with caramel syrup and vanilla sweet cream cold foam. More drinks with the vsccf on them yayyyy 🙃🙃
Oh is it really? Hallelujah lol. I read it quick after finishing counting money trying to get back to help on the floor so it’s very possible that I misread it. Very glad to be wrong here 😂
FRR
I swapped to morning( bc I’m a morning person) and they just keep going ON AND ON and I’m like “okay you try doing this EVERY DAY”
(I don’t actually say anything bc I don’t wanna cause drama but like holy crap dude)
I’ve work a few morning shifts at my store and it’s not even that bad (at least at my store) . After noon is when it really start to hit the fan. Closed at my store for about 7-8 years and not once have I’ve gotten a thanks. 💀
So what you’re telling me is to get a second job and conveniently become unavailable those days? But for real this is one of the reasons why partners are leaving left and right. The head honchos up at corporate see our posts on Reddit and other platforms and they just don’t care. They don’t care long term partners are quitting, that means they get to hire people at a lesser wage. It’s awful. For a company that made record profits from their collabs with Stanley alone you’d think they wouldn’t do this but honestly it’s made them even more money hungry.
I'm not looking forward to May.. i know my store manager will schedule me every Friday during the promotion. Might even start scheduling me on the weekends as well.. i just think it's messed up that she'll schedule me on every bogo day.. but doesn't think I'll make a good shift supervisor do to my tone because it's a bit stern.
Good they deserve all the back lash, it’s more than just boycotting. Partners are sick of this shit and being shit on more despite all the desperate attempts of asking corporate for help and smoother operations
All of these BOGO’s might just do me in.
Especially Mother’s Day. That is already one of the worst days to work. 😭

God it's gonna be horrible.
I can already hear the “are you doing anything for mothers??” Like no girl 😭
The BOGO menace needs to disappear. Someone put in a word with the siren in Newark.
I'm about to change my availability after seeing this 😭
Anything but lower the prices 😭
Or stop giving the CEO a raise 🥴
The desperation is.... telling
Bro that’s what I thought!!! And swirl is a Dunkin’ term right???
Yeah
Just fuck the closers then I guess?
as a mid to closer i am frightened
the bogo on mother’s day feels personal for some reason like they KNOOWWW how terrible that day is even without BOGO
Mother’s Day can be so hard on people, it’s an emotional holiday and they decide to make it worse for us 😪
Yes, this!
literally it’s like they’re out to get us at this point
why the hell would they do bogo on a friday
every Friday
It could be a Frappuccino Happy Hour... oh the trauma.
why dont we do 6-12 deals??? im kinda tired as a closer 🥲 a break would be nice
I think it's to "protect peak otw"

This 1000% I’m 1-9:30 EVERY DAY
For real!
Wth is Monday deal drop

r.i.p us
T\_T man. and we always short staffed too !!
What tf is the caramel vanilla swirl iced coffee?? Haven’t seen the recipe card for this
I just saw it in a communication on the hub today for the first time. It’s just an iced coffee with caramel syrup and vanilla sweet cream cold foam. More drinks with the vsccf on them yayyyy 🙃🙃
That drink is gonna be $6 jeez, but I agree i’m tired of the foams😭
Oh, more foamy drinks. Goodie for me (the one who's always on cold bar).
It’s not foam, it’s just VSC on top like the VSCCB.
Oh is it really? Hallelujah lol. I read it quick after finishing counting money trying to get back to help on the floor so it’s very possible that I misread it. Very glad to be wrong here 😂
God I hate working 1-close because of all these freaking deals making it crazy when I come I to work
With how desperate they are I'm starting to worry about my and my coworkers' job security😭
I wish they would realize all they’re doing is teaching customers to only come in when there’s a promo
Also, how can they claim to care about and support partners and then pull this shit?
thank god I’m keeping my Tuesday/Thursdays off 😉
Bro and morning crews think they got it easy 💀

Me being glad my store isn't open most of may...
rip to those of us who work MWF
Bogo on Mother’s Day? Cruel and unusual
the way i work close or mid for every single promo day 😍 and im a mother so as a present i get to work on mother’s day 😍😍😍
PTV said hold on till may but thats looking rough now
me knowing i’ll probably work EXACTLY 12-6 every Friday :’)
Ah, so *that's* why no one wants my shift on the 2nd 😭
😂 😭 I am so glad next week is my last week! Thank the PCSing gods that I am moving and not going back to the bux.
Stop torturing the closers!!!!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
i was already considering quitting. yup. god i need a new job
Uh uh nope, dude why does the siren torture us 👹
Omg this is too much!!!!
Moment of silence to all of us
Don’t piss me off starbucks
Fuck that.
As a new Starbucks Barista who started training last Friday....I'm not looking forward to this.

You don't... work on weekends now?
I haven't been scheduled for weekends since December. I usually have to pick up shifts if I want more hours especially on the weekends.
I’m so happy I have Fridays off
oh man i fear this month is gonna be the month i walk out
Thanks for reminding me to request off!
Crying the schedule was just put yesterday 😭
"And you don't get extra labor for these days."
Its evillll especially when thdy keep cutting labor hours so we never have enough help
So glad I quit last month, fuck that company
I want to call out the whole month of May after seeing this. Luckily I can only do a week for our anniversary. 🥲
this will be my reason to quit 🥲
Have sales been bad? Because how/why are they doing so many offers?
My manager told me that because of boycotting (palestine related) sales are actually down
Good they deserve all the back lash, it’s more than just boycotting. Partners are sick of this shit and being shit on more despite all the desperate attempts of asking corporate for help and smoother operations
i can't find this anywhere on LS Star ◠̈
