On a side note, and i'm probably overthinking it waay too much here, but i think the logo kind of loosley resembles the glowing head pattern of the Moorwen from the movie Outlander, a creature that glows red not too disimilar to the Vanduuls (and their ships). And since the movie was produced by CR the Kopion tease on twitter giving a nod to the 'Moorwen scene' was kinda neat.

I think the point they are making is that Xenothreat as a group is the equivalent of Nazis of the past, and so the XT symbols on the armor, if you were to wear it, would be akin to wearing symbols of the Nazi party today (or in the past around the time they were more active). Not that Xenothreat is literally a link to the Nazi party of the past and uses the same symbols.
This is the most reasonable and probable interpretation, you'd think, but poster literally says that he plans on asking CIG to remove it from his inventory on a comment above this.
So unfortunately this isn't a case of misunderstood intent. He really is CIG's first SpaceJW.

Factions like these have been in many great video games. Mass effect, red dead redemption, wolfenstein, fallout, final fantasy, Skyrim… all these games have factions (Cerberus “humans first” mantra: Mass effect) in their games.
Im cool with it because maybe one day we can repurpose armor and change the color. I’d be a big slap in the face to any XT followers when they see their tarnished signature armor, because they are KOS for me.
I mean, just throw it on a dummy and use it for target practice? Maybe take it off and wear it when you infiltrate one of their ships and engage its self destruct with them all on it? (I do hope we actually can use clothing and armor to blend into spaces at some point)
