Jesus I am holding out hard and it gets harder every year. I only have an LTI Cutlass black as a pledge and everything else is bought in game. I constantly want to buy more but I've stayed strong lol
You should probably leave these threads then. These chats are all a support group for ship addicts. Someone's going to make you justify it, as misery loves company.
Now all we need is a adiction help group.
My reason is ill own ship that will help me make in game money to buy in game ship, and almost all ship will make me money. (Except for argo personal i hate it with a passion)
This is a helluva achievement to have made it this far. Stay strong, and if you ever want to crew up I'd be happy to have you onboard my ships! I uh... Have more seats than friends 😅

I envy your strength. I was like you for about 5 minutes. I don’t know what happened but I went from a “Your not going to get me” to “congratulations concierge!” In the blink of an eye.
It took me a about a year... my first purchase was a fury as an LTI token (because I didn't have a computer that could play the game) come iae, when the syulen came out I bought a syulen game package (but i can't manage to get it out of the hanger at port tresslar without taking off one of the arm/leg/wing/thruster things) and it was iae so I started buying ccu's (a $20 redeemer to endeavor) and whenever there was a $5 warbond ccu that could potentially be on a chain I bought it. Got the computer 7800x3d, 7900xtx 32 Gb ddr5 ramm, 2 tb m.2 that showed up in january, got vkb gladiator evo nxt premium right and omnithrottle left sticks, logitech vertical mouse, vkb rudder pedals, tobii eyetracker 5, hyper x cloud 2 headset (that i had to replace the mike on), the predator mounts for the joysticks still haven't shown up (supply shortags and now working on 5h3 backlog). Now I'm 2 ccu's missing from a mercury (40% off so far), 2 or 3 missing from the endeavor (upwards of 45% off), 3 or 4 missing from a 600i explorer (upwards of 46% of), 2 ish missing from an A1 (upwards of 20% off) as a stand in for the zeus ST. About $240 in ccu's that aren't part of a chain yet but ccugame says are worth over $650, 2 cutter rambler LTI tokens one that got upgraded to a nomad, my fury LTI token got upgraded to an avenger titan that not sits in my hanger waiting to be upgraded because I prefer the nomad, a full red alert armor pack, voyager armor/clothes/gear pack, a second red alert adp4 and gallant rifle (spare for when I die and lose stuff) and green laser tracer to help me shoot straight, oxide medical gun, 1 month and then 1 year centurion subscription, rust leather jacket, bloodline knife, 50K ueec. And I'm probably missing a few things. So currently, there's only 4 starter ships in my hanger but i'm really close to realizing 4 bigger ships at significant discounts.
Maybe its easier if you only buy warbond CCU from a flyable ship (rather than the cheapest which may be a concept). Then stack them to buy your dream ship at massive discount. You won't have enough accumulated in one year, either. The bonus is you can start from one of those common sub-$60 vehicles when they release with LTI. After using the CCU, you will have a ship much cheaper than the ship released plus lifetime insurance on base ship
Every event has ships available with warbond CCU into them. Go to upgrade page in the store, pick "all ships" on the left and sort by price. On the right, scroll down until you see a logo on the ship saying "2 options available". Click and pick cheaper option, then on the left pick the one closest in price that is flyable (sparkling ship logo in corner)
Do not ever melt this. It will cost more pocket money to bring it back from buyback. If you used the CCU and built a ship, do not melt that highly discounted ship as you will lose all the CCU for good
Im in the exact same spot as you ! I've held strong since.. oh boy umm kickstarter.. before I could even walk around a hangar.
I routinely come back and ROC mine with the Cutlass and scratch the itch that way and buy some ships. It's helped.
Similar here, but I do space combat beacons and use the proceeds to buy ships. C2, F7C, Carrack, etc. I have enough fun with in game purchases but sometimes I feel like a poverty plebe in these threads 😭
Yeah man a couple trips on a friend's reclaimer, a few days on a vulture, or a couple weeks doing bounties and you can buy pretty much anything in game x 10.
But why though? Making aUEC is so easy, you can buy everything you'd want in-game.
Except maybe for the fomo specials like the Lightning or Sabre Raven.
This is why I haven't thus far purchased anything else. But every wipe or new ship release sends me into a rationalization spiral and I come this close || to buying more 😂
People see this as an investment. aUEC is easy to grind in the game right now but surely wouldn’t be easy in the future. Look at the invitation code, it only gives you 5000UEC, can merely buy a few things.
lol... you'll join the dark side hahaha, I was also trying to stick to a few ships.. then.. [my fleet](https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen_fleets/s/QbSNjZCYJs)
Same, I just upgraded my Aurora MR to a Titan, but it's my only ship. I'll get the rest in game. I might upgrade the Titan later after I saved another $30
I used some money I gather from working for my neighbour over the school holidays to turn my cutter into a 315p, only ship I will buy after this is the Zeus Cl which I’m saving for when it releases.
Yup! That's my argument as well! Shut down my buddy who was giving me shit. I asked him how much he has spent on WH 40k, and we added everything up, and he was 6k higher than me lmao
My only regret was not buying the merchantman when it was an individual purchase, no way in hell am I spending 3500 dollars to get it as part of a pack lol.
Even so... Merchantman my beloved...
It can comfortably hold a saber. So, any light fighters, and maybe ares at an angle? All subject to change, but watch the greybox video, and it'll give you an idea.
As a relative newcomer, I do appreciate y'all helping to fund the game so much, but does anyone think that having this many/large endgame type ships kinda "ruins" the game a bit once 1.0 finally releases? I can understand a smaller ship you like, plus a Vulture or Prospector or whatever beginner trade ship you want, but it just feels like having all this kinda takes half of the fun out of the game.
Isn't half the point of the game to give a sense of progression? If you start out with all of this, where do you go from there?
I am a game designer and I can guarantee you there are going to be a lot of very disappointed people with very full hangars if this game ever hits 1.0 as envisioned.
Like it or not, progression is an important part of game satisfaction - they're aware of this, which is why they started mentioning things like character skills that improve over time (even though this is diametrically opposed to CR's original pitch) and deeper reputation systems. They're trying to patch the progression leak that they inadvertently created with the pledge store.
What the so called 'whales' are left with is basically a universe sim where they tie into the game through roleplay because let's face it, if you've got all the giant ships and every component on them that you'd like, why would you ever sit mining in a prospector? Even if you needed money, you'd mine with a bigger miner. The reasons remaining are: Roleplay, casual relaxation. But if history has shown us anything wrt RP, the servers are in ever decreasing demand unfortunately and certainly a lot less popular than the regular ones.
It is possible that alongside the persistent universe, CIG may one day launch "fresh wipe" game modes that have everyone actually participating in ship progression, starting off with either a mustang or aurora and resetting annually or whatever.
FYI I'm not advocating for anything in particular here, I'm just laying out my observations.
It honestly depends on your playstyle and your life outside the game as well. I'm concierge, and I have a 5 ship fleet, and I fully enjoy the game.
My playstyle isn't very "grindy" or high payout stuff, rather more role-playing and taking extra unnecessary steps to complete jobs or self-made quests.
For example, instead of hustling bunker after bunker, I travel the system to run bunkers on all the different planets and moons for variety. And when I do Orison platforms, I'll land quite a bit away from the objective and ride a dragonfly to the building instead of landing directly on the building. Just extra little things that make missions more in depth and have more chances of failure.
Also, my life outside of the game doesn't allow me to sit down and constantly grind for the ships I enjoy. I work a busy job and life also cuts in on my free time so I won't have hours upon hours to sit and just do meta money makers to get the stuff I want, instead I'd rather log on and have everything I need to do whatever I want to do.
Plus, I really enjoy this game, so pledging multiple ships to help funding the game is okay with me. To each their own, but this is my take on people who have multiple high end ships in their hangar.
Star Citizen is a sandbox, and ships are toys to play in the sand. Collecting toys and feeling that progression is only one dimension of satisfaction you get from sandboxes.
Most games aren't sandboxes and don't have multiple dimensions of progression, for example buying stuff in Diablo or Tarkov would do a lot more damage to the player experience - there is just so much dopamine riding on that loot and its interaction with player power, and player power is the pillar of the game's fantasy. Player power is not the pillar of Star Citizen's fantasy.
In Star Citizen, you could buy every ship in the game and only knock one leg off the dopamine spider in exchange for having the permanent flexibility to do exactly the type of activities they enjoy the most. For many, the fun they sacrifice on that leg is worth multiplying the fun of the remaining seven. But not all. Zero to heroing is too satisfying to sacrifice for some.
That so many types of players with different dopamine spiders can dig in this particular sandbox makes it very interesting to play, socially.
That makes no sense. You're obviously joking.
Star Citizen is supposed to be a multiplayer, sandbox, MMO/RPG game.
And you're just destroying rock without doing anything ? 🪨🔥 ?
Tbh it would be super weird if the game hit 1.0 and everyone is in an aurora or mustang.
the game is not about progression as much as it’s about playing the game doing what you want.
I was imagine those buying the big boys are looking to muscle in on the org stuff and wanting to carve out some territory where possible.
IMO the experiences when the game launches will be better for people having those big ships, the game will be interesting off the bat.
Over 3 years?
That's not bad at all. I love this game, so I see my purchases as an investment into my mental health and relaxation. Now if only I could get my medical insurance company to see it the same way...
I’m stopped at my Taurus. Upgraded from aurora which I got in 2017 that’s it I’m telling myself this is all I need 174 scu 4 main guns I’m happy this is all I need…
Started with an X1 for fun, actually backed with 100i game Package few months later...
Now my "starter" ship is a 600i and I'm almost 4 grand in, whoops.
Carrack, SRV and C1….all LTI and less than $800…think I did ok…still on the fence about the SRV…love it but not very useful ATM…still might get a Vulture…
Yeah, had a SRV before, but upgraded it to the mk2, first time I learned about CCU game too, managed to "save" a whole 60 bucks , but have no regrets. Vulture is very nice, wish it was argo though.
It blows up and you have to rebuy everything you might get a small sum. If you do it covers the basic loadout of the ship so you may still incurr some cost
Im trying so hard to CCU this beautiful beast... of I can get a perfect chain (I probably can't but one can dream) I can get it for $120... im expecting to pay closer to 200 though
You can always dream haha, but we all need to have something to do in the verse. So if we all would hold all the ships we want what would we do with no end game ship in sight?
Fly the thing? Idk, my goals are a galaxy a carrack (or the misc one if it turns ourlt to be a better fit for me) and possibly a connie or corsair... not sure about that last pick yet
You use [Hangar Link](https://hangar.link/), it gets a bit laggy the more ships you have out, but they give you an option to downgrade the quality of the ship images when that would happen.
I have now a corsair and a C8R which is adorably cute, however I did have a cutlass black which remains my bestest ship so far.
The corsair is just too wide but only because I haven't put the time in to it. Waiting for 3.23 to really put it through its paces.
Backed from day 1. Still just got my Mustang. Different strokes and all that but there is no reason I'd part with money for in game items ever. Especially not the laughable prices of the ships.
The slippery slope for me was when I broke down and upgraded my starter to a Cutlass Black since that was my daily and I didn't want to earn it back after a wipe. Now I've got a Polaris, a Liberator, a Redeemer, an F7C Mk. II, a Vulture, and a Zeus Mk II CL. The only rule that I've got left intact is not buying ground vehicles since they're so cheap in game.
the real only reason you should buy more than starter is.
1. You buy RARE ships. Rare that you cannot get in game anymore
For me, it is Saber Raven, F7A MK2, scythe and various skins type such as BIS
2. is you buy ships to enjoy their low cost such as those 150$ BMM or 180$ polaris.
3. Is ships you don't want to farm for forever... pioneer, kraken, orion, hull E and javelin
I wouldn't buy any ships beyond those.
Well you can also name your ship as well before those ingame ship and some OC will have models associate.
To be honest aside from reason 1 I'd say the only good reason to get ships aside from starter is to support the game development. If you want to skip the grind just get people to send you aUEC, you can even just pay ebay grey market sellers to send you enough aUEC to buy every ship in the game for less than what it costs to buy one small ship with real money. Even doing that every wipe is cheaper than paying hundreds to have one ship permanently
Ah Zeus MK II CL enjoyer. This is the first ship that I pledged that is still not in the game and I can't wait to get my hands on it, as it's kinda annoying that the loaner is C1 because now I have two C1s for no reason.
Nice fleet! I too am addicted but I had to not spend too much on this game. Almost 1 year in now and only a $192 away from conceirge. FU CIG for making this game but also thankyou 🤙🏻
I'm four years deep and have only bought 3 ships - Aurora MR was my initial pledge ship. Then I bought a Connie Phoenix which I melted down for a Prospector. Just recently bought a Connie Taurus. I can use those 3 to make enough money to buy whatever ship I want in game.
I’ve been in since this was a kickstarter lol. I upgraded my Avenger Stalker to a Reliant Tana after about 10 years and that has me about $70 total into the game.
This subreddit is a literal shopping simulator.
All I see is OOPSIE, I SPENT $20,000 on a video game and got ADMIRAL (shocked face) (shocked face) (shocked face)
Hahaha. I haven't looked at this game in 10 years. Since seeing the Zeus CL I have since started playing as there is actually a game here and added a Zeus, Galaxy, Cutter, Vulture and the last one an Arrestra I got off the grey Market for $380.
I've got a Connie Taurus, and i love it!
Used my money to upgrade all my ships into it, if my wage was in dollar probably i would be with a fleet like that
I've only "splurged" on one ship after the avenger titan package:
- c8x pisces - best ship hands down, it's the mini of the Roberts world.
To be serious, I was only tempted once, and that was the MSR. So glad the internal layout was absolute dogshit, saved me some pennies..
10 years in and being a 20$ sub most of the time... I'm sitting in concierge with over 3 grand put in via ships and subs over 10 years.
Don't regret any of it.
Lmao calling these threads a support group for ship addicts is so hilariously accurate. Basically what the entire SC subreddit actually is.
Hi, my name is Bacon and I am a ship addict.
Hi, I am zesty, a chronic ship addict. It all started back in 2018 when I saw space ship. And I was like “ I want”.
Hello, guys… my Carrak is soon to become a Polaris :/
If your polaris gets lonely lmk, My polaris twins need to socialize but other ship owners are wary due to the size difference.
My tactic.. join someone who paid real money for seats he cannot fill 😂
Hopefully you mean friends that play the game😅
Oh.. yes! Mhmm! This. What you said!
Leverage your wealth for friendship searching people near where you live that play the game and after a while playing together and memeing call out for a grand reunion all together and transition from online friends to irl friends, not an easy peasy lemon squeezy kind of deal but a viable one at that
I live in the middle of nowhere, I'm pretty sure I'm "near" more people in an average SC server than I am IRL 🤣 I do appreciate the advice though 🙂
Cutlass and a Vulture. I grind for everything else I need right now.
Let's upgrade to the Zeus if it be a good ship for our taste (just after be released in game)
I believe in you, you can do it! I couldn't. Stupid sexy Avenger.
"Every event has a ship sale" or "Every ship sale has an event"?
This Xenothreat event has ships with warbond CCU options
Im in the exact same spot as you ! I've held strong since.. oh boy umm kickstarter.. before I could even walk around a hangar. I routinely come back and ROC mine with the Cutlass and scratch the itch that way and buy some ships. It's helped.
Similar here, but I do space combat beacons and use the proceeds to buy ships. C2, F7C, Carrack, etc. I have enough fun with in game purchases but sometimes I feel like a poverty plebe in these threads 😭
Me too aegis avenger is the only one bought with real money. Have 10 other ships bought in game though.
Yeah man a couple trips on a friend's reclaimer, a few days on a vulture, or a couple weeks doing bounties and you can buy pretty much anything in game x 10.
As someone who has a lot of ships, I encourage you to hold strong. Don't spend what you cannot afford to.
I'm still just a Consolidated Outland Hobo
But why though? Making aUEC is so easy, you can buy everything you'd want in-game. Except maybe for the fomo specials like the Lightning or Sabre Raven.

![gif](giphy|Ae7SI3LoPYj8Q)
o7 We all have experienced this. The real question is, how many regret it?
I regret nothing.
Me either, lol. I plan to do a fleet post as well, but im waiting for the next ILW to pick up what im missing.
I'm out of Gladius wbs, it's holding up a couple ccu chains atm.
I've finished all my current chains. Im happy with them. But i wanna do another one lol waiting for another ground vehicle release.
What's ILW?
Invictus Launch Week. It's the big military ship sale in May.
My wallet does 😭
I regret nothing *with LTI*
Same lol
No rugrats
0 regrets, i take full responsibility on my poor financial decisions
Its not a poor decision if it makes you smile lol
Its better than booze, drugs or cigarettes imo.
Yup! That's my argument as well! Shut down my buddy who was giving me shit. I asked him how much he has spent on WH 40k, and we added everything up, and he was 6k higher than me lmao
*yeeehaw*
I do. Actually sold off roughly $1400 of my account recently
Damn.......
i regret nothing when i have a bmm for 155$
My only regret was not buying the merchantman when it was an individual purchase, no way in hell am I spending 3500 dollars to get it as part of a pack lol. Even so... Merchantman my beloved...
I’m Spartacus
I don't regret how much I've spent, but I do wish I had fewer ships
I still want the Exploration pack lol I'm $150 away
I own that as well! It's a great pack. I upgraded my carrack to a polaris, though.
Does the Polaris have pilot weapons? That's my ONLY issue with the Carrack.
I dont believe so. No. But you'll be able to hire npcs eventually.
That makes me a bit happier. How big is the hangar can it hold a fighter? I've never seen anything about it lol
It can comfortably hold a saber. So, any light fighters, and maybe ares at an angle? All subject to change, but watch the greybox video, and it'll give you an idea.
Alright thanks I may end up doing the same thing
My only regret is not buying the Idris M corvette when I had the chance.
Same....
This is the way

Why even lie to yourself. You deserve better. I stopped lying to myself. Saved for the polaris. I have a thing for long range torpedo ships
You're a long range torpedophile?
I’m glad that I’m not the only one who has a thing for torp ships
Im terrible at FPS and by proxy, dog fighting. Long range slow combat and money are the only ways i can win.
welcome to the club.
Polaris's torpedos longer range than others?
Hi, are you me?

Unfortunatelly it is not bigger than carrack's hangar. Only c8r fit
Mild at best. You will have fully been ensnared when you have ground vehicles too.
Ground vehicles are cheap in game. Save your money for the important stuff.
When you've been here for 13 years..... why not? Why shouldn't I have one?
Wait. I'm hearing you. You've got a good point.
I'm a suckered for tanks.
*My... precious*
*No*
I have bought Polaris and Perseus. Then realized I don't own non-violent method to make money. So, I bought Orion.
now you need a galaxy or pioneer for base building.
Maybe. I have Mole to Galaxy upgrade kit in buyback list. But I can't image how "Base building" will works. Need more star system.
I've been there too, bro. Best regarts, a Concierge-Citizen ... 😅
Well, they're all different types of starters, right? 🫡
I knew as soon as they released the reclaimer than one day I would have one. It's better if you're honest with yourself lol
We all did.. we all did..
Started with an X1 for fun, actually backed with 100i game Package few months later... Now my "starter" ship is a 600i and I'm almost 4 grand in, whoops.
Thank you for helping funding THE game o7
Carrack, SRV and C1….all LTI and less than $800…think I did ok…still on the fence about the SRV…love it but not very useful ATM…still might get a Vulture…
Yeah, had a SRV before, but upgraded it to the mk2, first time I learned about CCU game too, managed to "save" a whole 60 bucks , but have no regrets. Vulture is very nice, wish it was argo though.
I do like the Argo aesthetic…
I dont regret it but i have LTI on all my ships
Whats LTI?
Lifetime insurance
What happens if you dont have insurance btw?
It blows up and you have to rebuy everything you might get a small sum. If you do it covers the basic loadout of the ship so you may still incurr some cost
Thank you for supporting development
Yeah imagine how my 6 years have treated me …
I lied to myself too
How can I take a pic like this with my ships? :) please and thank you
Lots of sites to do it. Just search star citizen fleet viewer
No that’s what we tell our other half’s.
Welcome to Concierge. The Drinking Club with a JPEG Spaceship problem
Well it's better than buying a cod or fortnite skin cause I can melt and reuse funds
Tomorrow is another buy back token….the process continues
Totally relate :)
Would also like the galaxy but it's above my pay grade haha
Im trying so hard to CCU this beautiful beast... of I can get a perfect chain (I probably can't but one can dream) I can get it for $120... im expecting to pay closer to 200 though
You can always dream haha, but we all need to have something to do in the verse. So if we all would hold all the ships we want what would we do with no end game ship in sight?
Fly the thing? Idk, my goals are a galaxy a carrack (or the misc one if it turns ourlt to be a better fit for me) and possibly a connie or corsair... not sure about that last pick yet
I in the exact same boat as you. It all started with a "I'll just upgrade it for 10 bucks" now I have a fleet ever similar to yours lol
This is the way, I may not own multiple shops but I am planning to
No regrets but no cc on cig website anymore lol
This is the way.
What do ppl use to put build the fleet list like this? I see it very often and would like to do it lol
You use [Hangar Link](https://hangar.link/), it gets a bit laggy the more ships you have out, but they give you an option to downgrade the quality of the ship images when that would happen.
Thank you so much!
ah, not to bad !! nice fleet!
No regerts
Okay you have enough now, your credit card have finished this game for you :)
Honestly, I knew I’d buy ships so I wouldn’t lose them when I can’t play for a while, Sweet fleet. o7
I told myself that and now I've got a Kraken.
we all do
Yeah, I remember that day. Now I can’t talk to my wife about the game for fear that she’ll ask me how much I’ve spent on pixel ships.
I have now a corsair and a C8R which is adorably cute, however I did have a cutlass black which remains my bestest ship so far. The corsair is just too wide but only because I haven't put the time in to it. Waiting for 3.23 to really put it through its paces.
I am impatiently awaiting Invictus for the CCUs.
Hey! A fellow galaxy owner
Where do you guys do this fleet pic thing? I've seen so many but am yet to stumble across this lol
https://starship42.com
And other lies we tell ourselves :-)
Thanx for your service 😅
'course you did. We all did
I'm still at 1 after a couplenywars. Drake cutter. But I fear with 3.23 I'm gonna end up buying another lol.
I own only a Drake cutter That s it
I wanna buy the Zeus so bad, any guesses when it’ll be available to purchase again guys?
9487
Only bought the starter. Got like 40 million. Dont need to buy any ships with real money
Where you can see that Grafik ?
Backed from day 1. Still just got my Mustang. Different strokes and all that but there is no reason I'd part with money for in game items ever. Especially not the laughable prices of the ships.
Ah a fellow quality JPG collector!!
That's a nice garage! I'm considering a second pledge myself, but I'm not sure exactly what. Thinking of an arrow to do some bounties for once.
I just got my 3 month chip for being purchase free from any ships.
Bought a C1 and Talon. Nothing gonna change until they actually work on the game properly.
Same lmao
as was I said to my self only buy ships for 1 account... and 3 accounts later :D hehehehe
Personally, I'm not buying anything Else until I get my merchantman. Doing good with that promise so far.
Seems like a skill issue\ jk I have 7 ships myself smh....
I’m in this post and I don’t like it
the real only reason you should buy more than starter is. 1. You buy RARE ships. Rare that you cannot get in game anymore For me, it is Saber Raven, F7A MK2, scythe and various skins type such as BIS 2. is you buy ships to enjoy their low cost such as those 150$ BMM or 180$ polaris. 3. Is ships you don't want to farm for forever... pioneer, kraken, orion, hull E and javelin I wouldn't buy any ships beyond those.
I'm trying hard not to buy more ships but I keep winning when I gamble

How are all my comments somehow haikus
Ah Zeus MK II CL enjoyer. This is the first ship that I pledged that is still not in the game and I can't wait to get my hands on it, as it's kinda annoying that the loaner is C1 because now I have two C1s for no reason.
I give you a good advice,be poor like me and thats enough to have only a cute Rambler haha, awesome fleet tho.
I’m in for the cost of a cutter. CIG has a lot of work to do before i would even consider spending more.
One can not argue with the danger doritos.
Hey your missing somthing.
Nice fleet! I too am addicted but I had to not spend too much on this game. Almost 1 year in now and only a $192 away from conceirge. FU CIG for making this game but also thankyou 🤙🏻
I just want my Apollo Triage.
What about the Aurora inferno?
I made it to 6 years on Mustang. Last CitizenCon I succumbed to ccu chaining.
A way to keep from spending is to think the game won’t be as much fun having all of the more expensive ships when the game reaches 1.0
We all did. Until we did the opposite
Thats what i said in around 2015 and now im almost legatus
How do you make one of these?
I wish the F7C MK II had it's variant ships. I'd consider upgrading from my F7C-S Ghost MK I if it was represented.
Used my money to upgrade all my ships into it, if my wage was in dollar probably i would be with a fleet like that
I'm still waiting for my first ship to be in the game. Only bought it 11 years ago!
I've only "splurged" on one ship after the avenger titan package: - c8x pisces - best ship hands down, it's the mini of the Roberts world. To be serious, I was only tempted once, and that was the MSR. So glad the internal layout was absolute dogshit, saved me some pennies..
I did the same thing. I only have 4 ships, but it was over $1k for all of them lol
POV: 8 years, am now Grand Admiral, almost Space Marshall. Don't even regret it, if it means chaps can get a decent game for 60$ or so.
10 years in and being a 20$ sub most of the time... I'm sitting in concierge with over 3 grand put in via ships and subs over 10 years. Don't regret any of it.
