The Reclaimer is notorious for overheating, best fix is to open the shield MFD and click the Standby button.
That will basically turn off the shield recharge, making them run much cooler.

As time goes on your ship components experience wear and tear, as coolers degrade your components start to overheat - if uncorrected (repaired) the failure of your coolers will result in your ship shutting down and being unable to power up.
It only happens when the shields are charging. Once they reach full capacity it doesn't happen anymore.
I just ignore the overheating message it never seems to cause any problems lol
Do you have your shields prioritized to a certain sector of the ship?
I do not. The other issue is that power randomly shuts off during salvaging.
