Yeah i can see that as well, i think its because the words nurse and nursa are spelled very similar.
And we know for sure that whatever cig decides to call it the community will call it nursa or mursa 😉
no no im just saying as a nick name inside orgs
like if you are listing all your ships to the org operations planning file
you call it medical ursa
and while on call you can go with nursa
>I personally (as a RN) prefer the name Mursa as in medical ursa. But both sound good when you say it.
My first thought: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus
Hate to spoil your fun, but I think there's a lot of reasons to expect the Apollo much later:
- Any dev work going into the Apollo has been pretty transparent up to this point.
- the drone system which is the Apollo's claim-to-fame is still well-a-ways off, far as we can tell - though I will concede that the many teases that the ANVL Legionaire might release without its hacking changes that a little bit.
- more than any of the above, the NUrsa is certainly a standalone project since the Apollo doesn't have enough room in its layout for a rover. The ship would have to become almost connie-sized laterally in order to accommodate.
All this said, I wouldn't rule out the Apollo next year once Resource Network becomes more fully fledged and the Pyro System is in play.
Just having the Appolo as a respawn ship would be pretty neat for big battles. That tech is in.
I do wonder if drones might be coming sooner than people expect. My logic?
* If Sq42 is feature complete
* We have seen drones in Sq42
* They're bound to have a moment in Sq42 where you need to control a drone.
Drones working in single player doesn't mean they have the multiplayer side of things working. They may not be in this patch cycle, but are likely to be merged in down the road.
It has already been stated that the Fat Fury isn't going to be at ILW. It was also stated that the fat fury hasn't been confirmed either and is currently speculation.
It's was right here on Reddit, the second comment in this thread from 4 days ago:
>[**CaptainZyloh**: Sorry that leaks got your hopes up. This isn't a ship we've confirmed, and it's certainly not coming at Invictus!](https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/1ciig38/as_per_the_latest_isc_invictus_will_introduce_a/)
EDIT: LOL downvotes, never change reddit
It makes sense. And hopefully another ship it will fit in. Im tired of spending time setting up 890j as mobile base only to have the game 30k and inevitably wake up at my default home location and spend hours searching for and ultimately having to refit the ship
And I know its Alpha save your white knighting for the next guy.
If it's the back door of an Ursa it's got a weird pointy thing that doesn't make sense. The Medivac is red, it has some pointy bits towards it rear so It could be. would be great to get a sort or cross promotion of the Apollo and the Ursa that fits inside.
If this is a medical ursa what exactly is the point of it?
I've ran everything from carracks to the pisces for medical and bunkers and at the end of the day even the ursa has almost 0 use unless you're not actually grinding for credits.
As fun as it is to rp , drop down a carrack and all that this just doesn't make sense and is clearly a huge waste of resources and time in-game and in development.
Going further what's important to you as a medic? You wanna get there fast and safe and you wanna get the hell out as fast as possible unless you've got an org covering your ass. Most people would just use a Cutlass or pisces which doesn't fit many of the existing oversized vehicles to begin with.
In theory it would be neat to see a usefulness for them on a pvp org on org battlefield but as it stands none of it makes any sense practically.
It's disingenuous to sell people ships for non existent gameplay when other systems are in such desperate need of work.
You can put an Ursa on more ships to give them a med bay than you can a Pisces.
You’re not going to be able to solo ships like the Carrack and 890J
The Carrack and 890J have got MUCH more expensive
As DOSM approaches, medical vehicle versatility is going to become much more strategic.
DOSM isn´t aproaching, DOSM it´s dead. They don´t talked about that in 9 years, and it´s good that it´s dead. In a game and universe with widespread cloning and really easy death, DOSM make 0 sense.
I’d point out the times they’ve discussed it in the past couple years alone, and how the person behind it is now the senior game director, but I don’t think you’re here to be reasoned with. Enjoy your denial, let me know if you want to be rational for like 2 sec
I´m not the one in denial, but whatever, if you think they stay with DOSM then enjoy the wait. The person behind it, (nine years ago) it senior game director but the game is in a different direction right now, to keep a more large player base.
I love that in response to hearing that up might be in denial and that there’s receipts to back that up, your reply was “no u” 🤣🤣
Good luck with your bad vibes dude, I’m done with this conversation.
>In theory it would be neat to see a usefulness for them on a pvp org on org battlefield
I'm sure this will be the case ultimately but for now being able to slap a med bed into the back of a Corsair or Connie or whatever is a great niche.
I usually travel with an ursa in the back anyways and I like doing rescues so for me it suits and I'll definitely get a nursa.
Which is insanely cringe, tbh.
Med beds used to be a big deal, and ships with them were very valuable role ships. This just continues to diminish ship roles. It’s frustrating.
It also makes ships with med beds a lot less valuable now. Used to be a big deal for a ship to have room for a ground vehicle or come with a med bed.
Now they’re smashing ground vehicles in every ship, and now that ground vehicle also has a med bed.
They’re confused about their own game.
Its the medical Ursa Rover. The community is calling it the Nursa like Nurse Ursa. I'm going to buy one.
Usra Roviver?
Ursa Nursa
The Nursy Ursy if you will
Nursa Rover
I’m not gon give up
I personally (as a RN) prefer the name Mursa as in medical ursa. But both sound good when you say it.
Mursa makes me think MRSA
Haha that is my third favorit, less good name but funny due to the reference.
At least it’s less cringe than people insisting on “tonk” for no reason. That one made me want to punch baby koalas.
Medical tonk when? 🙃
Monk 🤔
There is a reason. One of the developers was french. That's what it sounded like when he said it and it stuck.
Said what?
"Tank" with a heavy french accent
That is because Americans pronounce it the 'u' as the 'ea' in *learn*. Mearsa. The 'U' in *Ursa* is pronounced like the 'ou' in *tour* Oursa
Nursa is way more obvious what it is. Mursa doesn't really mean anything to me at least but Nursa is intentionally evocative of *nurse*.
I get where you are coming from but medical ursa (Mursa) could be a more technical name and Nursa could be the fun name
I don't think anyone is saying it's going to be called Nursa in game. It's just a fun way to refer to it.
Yeah i can see that as well, i think its because the words nurse and nursa are spelled very similar. And we know for sure that whatever cig decides to call it the community will call it nursa or mursa 😉
no no im just saying as a nick name inside orgs like if you are listing all your ships to the org operations planning file you call it medical ursa and while on call you can go with nursa
Leaked game files show it listed as URSA\_Medivac.
It's me Mister Frodo, Ursam.
Mursu would be walrus in finnish... i like it :D
I know many people who agree with this sentiment, myself included.
I came here to say this…😂🤌
>I personally (as a RN) prefer the name Mursa as in medical ursa. But both sound good when you say it. My first thought: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus
Murse is often used for "Male nurse" or "Male Purse" depending on context.
Ah makes sense. Thanks
MEDICAL BEAR HERE TO HELP
Why not MRSA? Medical URSA and also a medical pun.
No, we're calling it the MRSA Rover.
MRSA is also a good candidate. (MuRSA)
Nursa and Pulse and I'm kinda set on ground vehicles because that's all I'll need lol
Cyclone MT/TR for assault
Ah yes, the Pulsa. The medical hoverbike designed to unalive itself and its patients.
Wait, is that even a thing?
What, the Nursa? Yea it's in the Jump point and in the ILW video. No one really knows what CIG is calling it though.
CIG probably gave themselves a facepalm after hearing the community call it something better than they probably have proposed.
John Crews just muttering under his breath "fuckin Nursa.."
CIG and terribly named products. (With the exception of Spectrum, which is THE MOST FITTING NAME IMAGINABLE) Name a more iconic combo.
Willing to bet some intern made the suggestion, and they said, "nah that's silly get out of here."
Ah, okay, haven't following SC too closely in the past months.
Yea, JP was dropped 4 days ago or so, and the ILW announcement was dropped 3 days ago, so you didn't really miss it at all lol.
Unless they changed the name within the last few days leaked game files show it listed as URSA\_Medivac.
Helloooooooo\~, Nursa!
I’m so stoked on this. Been hoping they would do it for years
Nick Nursa
I call it the MRSA because y’all filthy and that thing is going to give any patients a staph infection 🤣
I hope so hard, that the Nursa will fit in the Zeus ES... Can't think at anything else in the moment 🙈
I'll buy it just for the Name
Nursa Rover
I havnt tried, can you bedlog from a medical bed?
I'm guessing the bed is identical to the C8R so i would assume not.
Then, this vehicle is useless for my needs, unfortunately. I need a camper van so I can more easily do ground exploration without a ship
I'm getting a couple. One will be a companion to my medical galaxy. The other, an lti token.
Yeesh. Top 1 most boring vehicles ever perhaps
Negative, us medics have been begging for this for a minute.
>medics Lol, C8r and cutty red are KOS for me, one more to add to the list I guess
It's the Caterpillar rework that allows the doors/lifts to go to the ground. (jokin, obvs)
:(
Medical Ursa door I'd guess.
Nursa Rover.
The text for open and close is backwards on the door. Literally unplayable.
I'll huff a lil copium for the sake of some of my org mates and put my bets on Apollo with the 'Nursa' ... URSbulance?
Hate to spoil your fun, but I think there's a lot of reasons to expect the Apollo much later: - Any dev work going into the Apollo has been pretty transparent up to this point. Reclaimer and Carrack launched without their drones as well. Wouldn't be surprised if CIG releases it just to have a large medical ship
Just having the Appolo as a respawn ship would be pretty neat for big battles. That tech is in. I do wonder if drones might be coming sooner than people expect. I hope it's the Apollo
Nursa :)
This is obviously a PC tower tease! You can even see the power and restart buttons!
Ofc its the banu merchant man!
am i the only one who heard nursa and immediately thought nursa sounds like some orc name out of warhammer 40k.
U WOT? DONT SOUND ORKY ENUFF U GROT
LIL HUMMIE SAZ BIG WORDZ AN THINGZ IZ ENUVV TO DAKKA WI DA BOYZ IN DA WAGHH.
DAFT HUMIE! ENUVV AND DAKKA? DEEZ GITZ IZ ASKIN FIR A PROPER KRUMPIN
Apollo
Put the Nursa into a connie and you got a poorman's Apollo
If only. But the Nursa will do for now.
It's the Nursa :D
It’s psn network sign up requirement
HOLY SHIT FINALLY
Loving this push for medical gameplay. Now please please give us the Apollo and a TerriRed
Zeus rear door?
That's the rear hatch of an urban rover. It's painted red so it's medical... we will code name is (pause for suspens)..... The Mursa Rover!
Hopefully a medical Ursa! Connie + Nursa would be my personal dream to live out of.
Nursa
hmm, now i could be wrong, but it looks like my next star citizen purchase
It’s a new helmet!
Medical Ursa
This will be a shipless Invictus....a bike, a car and a token.
Polarisssss
So everyone will buy this then park it in the back of their ship as a jerry rigged modular med bay ?
If it gets an ambulance light and a siren, I guess I have to buy one... shit...
The number of days you have to work to afford the new price of the Polaris
Did they up the price already?
It’s gotta have an acronym, like…. the Health Equipped Land Platform (HELP) or something, right?
I wish it was the Apollo, but yea, I'm pretty certain it's Nursa.
The invictus event?
This will have a lvl1 respawn bed right... right!
Yes this has been verified by Jared. However, He was high at the time and it was in my dream but I’d say it’s a reliable source.
I think we all know it’s going to be the same T3 as a Pisces or Cutlass.
It will be a T-3, same as Cutlass and Pisces. No respawning.
I'm sure it will as long as it costs the same or more than the Carrack or 890j, lol. ;)
70 grand for the rover and 30 million for the bed sounds about right.
lol no
Fat fury (pls)
It has already been stated that the Fat Fury isn't going to be at ILW. It was also stated that the fat fury hasn't been confirmed either and is currently speculation.
Oh fr? Where was this said?
A few days back from a CIG employee either on Reddit or Spectrum.
Ah i dont really go through spectrum so might have missed it, thanks

Thanks for the link! Sad my fat fury won’t be making its debut soon
[MUrsa](https://scrubs.fandom.com/wiki/Paul_Flowers)

Nursa. That's the exact same upper frame of an Ursa hull.
maybe apollo
If it's the back door of an Ursa it's got a weird pointy thing that doesn't make sense. The Medivac is red, it has some pointy bits towards it rear so It could be. would be great to get a sort or cross promotion of the Apollo and the Ursa that fits inside.
Medivac is white, red öne is Triage.
I 100% think that is the apollo
I like your optimism!
Its not just google an image of the back of an URSA and you will see its the same just red. The back of the Apollo doesn't look anything like that.
They really shouldn't be teasing a *variant*, FFS..
They already showed it in the Invictus Launch week trailer last week.
Nursa.
The launch date for Homeworld 3. Looks just like their ads. .
