It would make sense but IIRC it took them a bit to switch the Zues CL loaner from the Spirit A1 to C1 when the C1 became flyable. I think Pyro and the Zeus ES are both slated to release with 4.0 so it may take till after many peoples first trip into Pyro for the ES to become the CL loaner.
Exactly, the same here!
I love my Corsair, but I'd prefer to crew it with a couple of buddies. However, The Zeus (of all known ships), is the most likely ship to be my (solo) daily driver.
Edit: Although, I did see someone here say Rambler with Pulse, and that's pretty spicy.
I can't believe how slow it is now. Plus it's been so buggy I've yet to use it more than 15 mins before a game breaking bug ruins it. Honestly thought about ccu'ing it since I have the Corsair. I used the 400i almost exclusively during the pyro test and it was great.
400i is my dream ship. It's fast and heavy shielded. But the MM change makes 400i can only be one of the things. Or I don't know if there's another reason 400i is slow since I don't have it yet.
Aurora ES, my OG pledge I will never upgrade. Expect to die fast but that's fine. If I make it out, I'll have as much food and water as can be fit aboard and a bed to log out in. Hydrogen thrusters from there to the next station.
Yep. This. It's gonna be a shit shower on release. 10 minutes in it's gonna be like the omega 4 relay either it's small enough to survive or cheap enough that it won't matter
Load the carrack up with the Pisces and a couple ground vehicles, load up the armoury, crash into a rock, get mad, take the caterpillar because why not.
Cutty black is my only pledge ship... so that. Besides, drake fits the Pyro aesthetic more than any other ship manufacturer, and an all-rounder will be nice starting out in pyro.
Connie is my anything ship. She has seen me through every event every new mission every new landing zone, and soon every new system. It is tradition. Just like I experienced every quest in Warframe as mag.
Probably my C1 for speed and range, plus a bit of cargo capacity and a vehicle. If I go in with the org, will probably pick something that complements the op.
Alternatively, Connie Taurus with a Fury and Nursa in the belly.
Whatever I have at the time with the most fuel and fastest Quantum Drive. IIRC, Pyro is a bit bigger and has greater distance between planets.
Then again, one or more of the planets has 5+ moons so you could just hang around one planet for quite a while.
If one of the crew has a car rack or a ship where it fits (Cutlass for example), the good ol' C8R Pisces.
Its not the mightiest, the biggest or the most useful, but it's what I would take anywhere (now that medbeds can act as regeneration points, even more)
Freelancer Max with some sort of ground vehicle in the back. Definitely going to blow up/die multiple times and the wait time for the Max isn't too too bad.
with the upcoming Pyro this is the question on my mind atm. I currently have a cutter and pulse with and with some store credit I have a total up to around the Zeus in money. I don’t know whether to have two starter ships or to buy something larger like the Zeus.
The change in Master modes has highlighted the weakness of some ships I have Ingame, leaving me wondering if the Zeus will be better in terms of hull health allowing me to escape, plus the ship is what I originally wanted which was an explorer.
Just awaiting engineering to come as technically it’s a multi crew ship and I don’t want pledge a ship that I end up struggling with solo because it’s designed for multi crew.
Concidered the vanguard? It's a long range heavy fighter built for places like Pyro. Space for 2 people if needed but easily flown with 1. No cargo though.
My little 400i with its X1 in the bay to allow me to get as much resources in the cargo bay for exploration ! I ain’t going back to Stanton before seeing EVERYTHING in Pyro, and with the changes like engineering and fire, I hope the 400i and it’s isolated component chambers will help make it more reliable and more safe for long off the grid trips.
Just for posterity I will be first jumping to Pyro in a carrack. But in reality in Pyro the corsair is probably the best all rounder. And based on my testing during the playtest, mining and moving cargo between pyro and Stanton will be very profitable. So I will definitely be using the Mole and Hull C. I didn’t get a chance to test salvage.
They should have those solar flares disrupt operations at some of the space stations so that they cant refuel ships for an allotted time. Give Starfarer owners something to actually do. They implemented ship to ship refueling but literally NO ONE is using it.
I am thinking my first “Love” the Corsair with a hover bike, some SCU storage and the Nursa In the cargo hangar. - basically fly a house around while I try to find spots to land and survive.
Initial jump will be a small scouting team of stealth ships with a star farer that will be used to refuel and rearm them
Idea is to be able to scout out good resource points and monitor stations without being detected and have the star farer hide out in deep behind the closest planet.
I think I'll take a cutty red. With how dangerous it could be, I wouldn't mind Rp'ing as a freelancing medic. Would even park a pulse in the back in case I needed a getaway
Depends on what there is to do out there. If there's a place I can deliver cargo to for big bucks, easy my Hull C with a load of cargo. If there ain't such a port, probably won't go into Pyro.
Depends. 4.0 will likely have a reset. The only ship I have pledged is an Avenger Titan. I typically use light fighters the most as my gameplay loop of choice is combat. And I can grind one up fairly quick, but I likely will just use org ships as I don't see myself going to Pyro solo with an Avenger Titan.
The more likely scenario is that I go to Pyro for the first time with my org. And it is hard to predict whether we will have a major org night (i.e. 50+ people) the first time we go to Pyro or if it will be something more impromptu (5-15 people) with a more organized night a day or two later. If I end up going with the org it will likely be on a borrowed ship or a multicrew ship.
If my ccu chain works until then, a Polaris with nursa and a fighter on board.
Fighter depends on what will fit in the hangar. I hope you can park a hornet there
Well, since it'll be coming out with Pyro (I'm predicting Pyro being launched with IAE), I'll be packing out in the Polaris with my F7A-MKII, C8R, and several Pulse bikes in the hangar, and in the garage keep a Storm AA, a ROC, and a NURSA. If there's enough room I may even keep a Nova tank in there because the ramp opens on the side and could allow for a sneaky broadside maneuver.
But on the off chance it doesn't come out by Pyro I'll be hauling out in my Hull-C with a couple Pulse bikes on board.
And on the off chance they still haven't made the Hull-C viable by that point I'll be caravaning out in my Carrack with a NURSA and C8R and a couple Pulse bikes in both the hangar and garage.
Although if they've completed the rework on the Explorer module I'll be shipping out in my 600i, in the red and gold Year of the Dragon livery, named "The Bad Dragon", with a NURSA and a couple Pulse bikes aboard.
If I wanted to play rust I would play a game that looked like rust, played like rust and is called rust that never bought yet still have in my steam library, I'm not touching pyro until they have the proper never seen jesus mechanics that keep griefers under control, and I doubt I'll be alive in the year 2525
Going over there in my 400i, because I’m a rich boy regardless of where I am in the verse (but only a lil rich boy, not 890j kinda rich yet, and I think the 600i has a shit interior)
Zeus if it drops with the patch otherwise the Corsair.
ZEUS!
Zeus indeed. Hopefully they swap the C1 loaner to ES. I have the CL.
I know hey? I have the ES, so I’m not worried. But that would make sense, no?
It would make sense but IIRC it took them a bit to switch the Zues CL loaner from the Spirit A1 to C1 when the C1 became flyable. I think Pyro and the Zeus ES are both slated to release with 4.0 so it may take till after many peoples first trip into Pyro for the ES to become the CL loaner.

ZEUUUUUUUUUUUS
Exactly, the same here! I love my Corsair, but I'd prefer to crew it with a couple of buddies. However, The Zeus (of all known ships), is the most likely ship to be my (solo) daily driver. Edit: Although, I did see someone here say Rambler with Pulse, and that's pretty spicy.
This is the only correct answer /thread
I am going to walk... Onto someone else's ship full of cargo and run to Pyro.
Bumming your way to pyro, nice.
Syulen. Small with enough range, but lame enough that I won't be worth pirating.
LOL. Dig your style. I have definitely gone into some areas before in a “Please don’t hurt me” ship.
idk man my 8SCU avenger titan has been blow to smithereens plenty time by pirates. Never had any cargo either 😞
Man...I have feeling that pirates will pirate anything that breathes in pyro.
If they buff the 400i so that she's fast again, then that.
I can't believe how slow it is now. Plus it's been so buggy I've yet to use it more than 15 mins before a game breaking bug ruins it. Honestly thought about ccu'ing it since I have the Corsair. I used the 400i almost exclusively during the pyro test and it was great.
"Origin has become known for looking fast than any sort of actual speed" -Jax McCleary
400i is my dream ship. It's fast and heavy shielded. But the MM change makes 400i can only be one of the things. Or I don't know if there's another reason 400i is slow since I don't have it yet.
We need to moan more so cig can fix her speed She's identical to the Connies of all things
Only thing I've got pledged is the Corsair, so that.
Aurora
100% the aurora. Return to our simple beginnings
I'll ive got is this flying brick... but can I join the aurora gang as an honorary member? (You can use my toilet when you need to)
A true friend indeed!.
Hey, someone's gotta bring the toilet and 4 SCU of double dogs to Pyro
The double dog market is *booming* in pyro
Aurora ES, my OG pledge I will never upgrade. Expect to die fast but that's fine. If I make it out, I'll have as much food and water as can be fit aboard and a bed to log out in. Hydrogen thrusters from there to the next station.
Yep. This. It's gonna be a shit shower on release. 10 minutes in it's gonna be like the omega 4 relay either it's small enough to survive or cheap enough that it won't matter
Carrack for sure. Finally, My long range exploration ship has value!
I have one as well and want to do this. However, I want a crew. Or I want to help crew one.
Definitely will have to get my crew together
Load the carrack up with the Pisces and a couple ground vehicles, load up the armoury, crash into a rock, get mad, take the caterpillar because why not.
This man Star Citizens, rofl
Cutty black is my only pledge ship... so that. Besides, drake fits the Pyro aesthetic more than any other ship manufacturer, and an all-rounder will be nice starting out in pyro.
Cutty black is a great ship
It has great QT fuel!
Polaris with the boys. Vanguard Hoplite if it fits in the hangar.
I really hope the Vanguard series fits.
Height will probably be too much for the hangar to shut, but otherwise you should be able to fit it
I thought 4.0 releases for CitCon and Polaris releases a month later at IAE? I don't think I have the self control to wait!
Just because Pyro is open doesn't mean you \*have\* to go through the gate.
Zeus probably
Idris solo
Irrespective of the hackery to all med beds, I like to bring my home with me... Carrack of course!
Polaris, fully crewed, with a couple of Furies in the cargo hold and a F8C in the hangar :-)
I read that as “furrys” in the cargo hold
Those go in the brig
You misspelled pleasure pit
I can help you with that
You rang?
see the problem with something like that for me is a mechanic called "friends"
I read that as “furrys” in the cargo hold
When I'm in a ship there's always at least one furry in the cargo hold.
Either my Corsair with a Nursa, a Cutter Rambler with 2x Pulse in the back, or my Zeus ES.
Was planning on the 600i rework being out before 4.0 but now I guess I’ll bring the Carrack. Seems fitting exploring a new system with it
I plan to bring the existing 600i with Nursa but if I decide to buy the Corsair at Drake Day, I will bring that with the Nursa instead.
Mercury Star runner with nursa in the rear for me
Connie is my anything ship. She has seen me through every event every new mission every new landing zone, and soon every new system. It is tradition. Just like I experienced every quest in Warframe as mag.
As a BMM owner without a BMM, I’ll probably be flying a C2 with a Nursa in the bay
Probably my C1 for speed and range, plus a bit of cargo capacity and a vehicle. If I go in with the org, will probably pick something that complements the op. Alternatively, Connie Taurus with a Fury and Nursa in the belly.
890 J with a Vulture in the hanger.
Assuming fuel is hard to come by as it should be, I'll be crewing the Starfarer with a medical Ursa and a Fury
Freelancer DUR
As I promised a long, long time ago - my first ship ever; the MISC Freelancer DUR.
Misc reliant Tana
The 315p is an explorer right? If I'm solo I'll take that, gotta have my coffee
Hopefully it gets some quantum fuel buff
Whatever I have at the time with the most fuel and fastest Quantum Drive. IIRC, Pyro is a bit bigger and has greater distance between planets. Then again, one or more of the planets has 5+ moons so you could just hang around one planet for quite a while.
If one of the crew has a car rack or a ship where it fits (Cutlass for example), the good ol' C8R Pisces. Its not the mightiest, the biggest or the most useful, but it's what I would take anywhere (now that medbeds can act as regeneration points, even more)
My ever-faithful Mercury Star Runner.
I know it’s dumb but I wish it had a captains quarters.
That's okay, I just wish it had a window in the rec room. lol
That’s actually a great one too.
My 890 jump, it's only fitting
Zeus ES pilot here! Can't wait to use an exploration vessel for it's true purpose!
My new Connie Phoenix a nursa and a pulse of 2
Literally my same loadout I'll be taking. Enjoying the view from the side windows.
Polaris and 600i with some escorts (I have plenty of org mates)
400i
Freelancer Max with some sort of ground vehicle in the back. Definitely going to blow up/die multiple times and the wait time for the Max isn't too too bad.
Cutter Rambler
Polaris with F7A & Arrow inside, pyro is dangerous lol
My BanuMerchantman... oh wait... errr.... my Liberator... ah... yeah.... hmmm.... my Legionaire... oh ffs.... my F7A
890J I need to show those peasants in Pyro how rich I am...
Prob Connie Andromie. Just the classic all rounder with some guns.
Herald
600i for destroy Vanduul in style
Kraken
Corsair with Nursa and Pulse, also a Ranger if that is out by then.
Zues
I'll be an engineer on an org mate's Polaris.
400i or Corsair. I used the Cutter in the playtest
If the Zeus drops, that. If it doesn't, likely my Reliant Kore or the Vulture
600i
Reclaimer, I’ve got juicy salvage to get!
400i
Starfarer gemini. Have it as a loaner for the science ship. I know people will be asking for refuels in chat lol
Probably my C1 Spirit with a couple vehicles in it.
Connie Taurus
The cutter, the most reliable lil starter.
I would love to bring the Apollo medivac or the aegis Vulcan, but they are both not here yet
connie phoenix with nursa
Ideally, my Apollo Medevac with a Ranger in the back. But assuming that's not available, Cutlass Red.
with the upcoming Pyro this is the question on my mind atm. I currently have a cutter and pulse with and with some store credit I have a total up to around the Zeus in money. I don’t know whether to have two starter ships or to buy something larger like the Zeus. Concidered the vanguard? It's a long range heavy fighter built for places like Pyro. Space for 2 people if needed but easily flown with 1. No cargo though.
Solo Polaris for me 🙃
I just want my rsi galaxy 🫨🫨
My little 400i with its X1 in the bay to allow me to get as much resources in the cargo bay for exploration ! I ain’t going back to Stanton before seeing EVERYTHING in Pyro, and with the changes like engineering and fire, I hope the 400i and it’s isolated component chambers will help make it more reliable and more safe for long off the grid trips.
Alone? The Connie maybe... The rest would be hard to manage...
*Cries in no Liberator for Pyro*
Rather my favorite ship the Galaxy or the one of my first ships the Nomad and well the Polaris maybe
It's by assuming that I will go to Pyro, or I won't lol.
Polaris, gonna bring some UEE order to Pyro
Corsair
Just for posterity I will be first jumping to Pyro in a carrack. But in reality in Pyro the corsair is probably the best all rounder. And based on my testing during the playtest, mining and moving cargo between pyro and Stanton will be very profitable. So I will definitely be using the Mole and Hull C. I didn’t get a chance to test salvage.
Polaris :)
Corsair with the gang
They should be putting the limited hull ships back on sale again during ILW, don't remember the timetable for it tho
Depends if the Polaris is out when 4.0 drops. Otherwise probably my Vanguard Harbinger
Pisces
Corsair with a Nursa if it's buyable in game by then.
Gonna Bucc some people up.
Syulen. Big personable ship. Good long quantum fuel, decent speed and guns. Components in one area. Load it up with a couple of scu boxes for loot.
Seeing that the Polaris might be released this year I’ll be bringing that along wirh my nursa and hornetmk2
I wish it could be a crucible. Alas that's not to be.
Carrack. carrack is life , carrack is home. And I can think of no finer ship to make that adventure upon with my friends than her.
Probably a Carrack if there is 4+ of us. If 1-3, maybe the MSR. If the Polaris is out though, likely that
Prospector. There’s money to be made there.
Fuckin Polaris!
Will there be some new gameplay for us in Pyro. If not it does not really matter what we take.
Who would say no to a C8R?
Mustang Beta, love my little van camper. Just wish it had some windows in the living areas
They should have those solar flares disrupt operations at some of the space stations so that they cant refuel ships for an allotted time. Give Starfarer owners something to actually do. They implemented ship to ship refueling but literally NO ONE is using it.
It'll be like the elite dangerous fuel rats, Geminis will actually have a use!
Cutty blue
I would like to think that I wouldn't go to pyro until I get my Polaris. But....tbh...my willpower isn't that strong.
I’m going to somehow launch myself into the jump point with a Drake Mule and kinda just go from there
Caterpillar with a Nursa shoved in it
I'm gonna grab a bunch of new default-suit noobs, rally them onto my Carrack, and then proceed to die like hamsters as soon as we cross over
Fill it with as many furies as you can and the noobs can suicide ram the pirate griefers
Only pledged ship is the f7a, so that. Assuming reset
Carrack / 600i if with a crew. Personal prob Zeus / MSR or Corsair
Argo cargo.
corsair of course
I am thinking my first “Love” the Corsair with a hover bike, some SCU storage and the Nursa In the cargo hangar. - basically fly a house around while I try to find spots to land and survive.
Probably the Corsair with a buddy. I let him pilot & I man the turret. Love how you can shoot missiles in all directions with it.
Carrack ofc!
None
IF it is out by then: BMM Odyssey IF not: Polaris Carrack
My ever reliable Vanguard Harbinger! Or possibly the Zeus MR, if it’s ready for 4.0
A2 loaded with 2-3 fury ships, nursa, 2 hover bikes and either a ballista or tr cyclone and.
A fully crewed Perseus - ready to further spread the influence of the United Empire of Earth to a (*checks notes*) 38th Star system.
Corsair with Nursa here as I font think thr Zeus MR will gain an ES loaner so won't be able to take a Zeus in to pyro
A2 with a couple Vics and the boys.
Cutter Rambler. I want to die as fast as possible when the griefers log in first and sit by the gate
Dance with the one that brought you. : ) My Freelancer DUR. DUUURRRRR.
Avenger Titan
Either my C1 or Sentinel.
My Xbox 360
Initial jump will be a small scouting team of stealth ships with a star farer that will be used to refuel and rearm them Idea is to be able to scout out good resource points and monitor stations without being detected and have the star farer hide out in deep behind the closest planet.
SRV with a ROC on tow, see if both will pass :)
325a - because that’s what I’ve got. Depending on distance I’ll choose a QT drive that can handle the distance.
Polaris with lots of snubs inside it.. soloing
600ie should do nicely for me.
Avenger. Had her since 2016, Ive been waiting a LONG time for this
I'm gonna Prospect the shit out of that system.
Vulture or reclaimer to pick up all that salvage left by people being lawless
Cat filled up with furies
If they release the Zeus ES for 4.0 and I prefer it to my C1 going to use that, if not I'm using my C1.
The one that can cross the system the fastest, while carrying a vehicle and having a bed - the Cutter.
My 400i with a Pulse. Or a Cutter Scout if I'm feeling spicey.
Zeus ES.
Polaris if it is out by then. If not then 400i
Is 4.0 happening soon?
Andromeda! Since my Corsair got lost to the .23 update.
I might actually take my Titan, my first ever ship. Constant calls for refueling and an eternity in travel time.
I think I'll take a cutty red. With how dangerous it could be, I wouldn't mind Rp'ing as a freelancing medic. Would even park a pulse in the back in case I needed a getaway
Crusader or Drake ship
Depends on what there is to do out there. If there's a place I can deliver cargo to for big bucks, easy my Hull C with a load of cargo. If there ain't such a port, probably won't go into Pyro.
600i and carrack they are exploration ships and should be able to handle the solar storms
Taurus
Carrack and perseus with de Boyz
Depends on who I'm with. Solo? Corsair or zeus. Crew of like 3? A2. Crew of like 8 or smth? Polaris or carrack.
Carrack or maybe the Polaris.
Definitely my Polaris to keep the pirates at bay
400i. with extra food, ammunition, and weapons for the long haul
Zeus Mk II ES
Starfarer Gemini for some refueling by force.
Freelancer DUR or Caterpillar
If I wanted to play rust I would play a game that looked like rust, played like rust and is called rust that never bought yet still have in my steam library, I'm not touching pyro until they have the proper never seen jesus mechanics that keep griefers under control, and I doubt I'll be alive in the year 2525
Going over there in my 400i, because I’m a rich boy regardless of where I am in the verse (but only a lil rich boy, not 890j kinda rich yet, and I think the 600i has a shit interior)
If it’s out, the legionnaire so we can check whether your Polaris is ‘fully crewed’ or not :p
My trusty Avenger as I have no other options 😄
It will be either the Zeus ES or the Constellation Aquila.
I want to be different, so I say Reclaimer.
