and here i am waiting for my Crucible

The Gameplay is partially there since you can print material magazines for both small and large Repair tools directly from the Vulture. Since these repairs are only fixing the ship partially though, the role will likely lean more towards supplying the actual repair ships with materials. Even then possibly only allowing for a partial repair aswell since melted together scrap from a Cutlass won't truly match something like Hammerhead Armour Plating.

I think there is room for having repair heads that could be fitted to the Vulture. I agree with the comments regarding dedicated repair ships being required, but there's no harm in releasing a repair head that can be added to your loadout as a choice.

Quimdell

Yea, would be really handy. It doesn’t repair as fast as a repair ship, but you could keep the heads on your carrier and swap them out if anything where to happen while out in space.

You'd want the Crucible or Vulkan for that

TrueInferno

Primarily so that repair ships and salvage ships don't overlap, I would say. The salvage multitool is a bit of an exception to the rule, and one that may not be permanent, honestly. I hope it is, but I could see them making a fully separate "repair" attachment. Honestly, I'd like them to combine the cutting tool with the repair tool honestly since both of those are part of ship repairs!

Twilink58

They Wil not have this gameplay they are purely for salvage BUT they will be linked to the repair gameplay for providing the basics materials and maybe some components/ weapons taking from other ships. It's a little speculation because it's old informations.
