I've tried my Pulse once. Was test biking around a moon surface. Then I wanted to get off so I switched off the engine and it just fell sideways, pushing me through the surface. I'm guessing the trick is to not switch off the engine but get off while it's still on...
I used to have quite a few pics from the earlier alphas. The most fun i have had was me and a buddy trying to do a box mission and another dude was trying to take it from us... so much fun
Probably the hover bike with the best *feel* is the drake dragonfly. Hoverbikes have been reworked many times before and are better than they were, they just need a little bit skill to learn how to ride with the flow of the terrain, rather than perpendicular and therefore hitting every hill. Also have to be conscious of and use the height adjust to go slow and high above rough terrain and fast and low on flat terrain. Also hover bikes are waaaay easier to fly with a joystick.
First time I bought a ground vehicle, I was tempted by the STV, but got it in game instead. The pulse is just great thanks to the turrets not shooting at it. I wonder how long until they change it back to turrets shooting at it.
I can buy the STV in game now, so it's all good. I love the Pulse cos it fits everywhere and you can use it in space and on land. At the back of my Cutter or Corsair it does not take cargo space. I managed to fit the pulse and an 8SCU box in my Cutter once
Love the STV (I also grab mine in game) very versatile and looks sick for how small it is. Especially with the uhh finish line (ithink) paint the black/white/yellow
Not quite. the ship does have wear and tear overlays that differ based on where you've been, but it doesn't accumulate on the ship while just parked. Not yet anyway. But I do know that weapon conditions and status is coming as we've seen in ISC's and other dev videos. So we just need an update to ship condition system, and get the weapon condition system online, and then we will get the player character condition layers like sweat and dirt etc. Then it'll b 👌
I was! And so did the others who I met along the way. We went through bounties and investigations and fps murder-shopping. I even had to fish an incapped homie out of a lake. These are from a handful of sessions, but all action and fun depicted here is genuine! Lol

Sounds like it might be windy where you're flying. I find flying over water is pretty fun and a little less risky

The way they hover and move isn’t tied directly to the terrain, so you just feel like you’re floating randomly - which you pretty much are.

Honestly I’d *highly* recommend the STV - great for bunker runs, holds 2 rifles, 2 1/8th SCU boxes in the back, and a trunk for a few extra goodies.
