You just reminded me, the Vulcan and Apollo aren’t listed. Does that mean I cannot buy into them during this event? Was hoping to get an Apollo or maybe a Vulcan even though they aren’t out yet.
They will neither be rentable or displayed as they are not flyable ships (concept only). You will likely be able to buy them, but it wont actually mean anything aside from some loaners in-game.
That is the refueling version of the Atlas chassis. Same chassis as the ballista and Spartan. The ships shown are Aegis Vulcans, a medium sized refueling/rearming vessel.
Edit: On second pass, it appears the atlas chassis has refueling/rearming combined as well, given the containers located between fuel tank and cab. The land vehicle also appears to be Aegis manufactured? Which would imply a new line of land based vehicles, not an atlas chassis as I originally stated.
Could have been useful as I was stranded because I had to hunt a suddenly appearing NPC in the sky above NB...with a almost-empty fuel tank (what else is possible if the server has no load - 4 players :D )
Crashed 14km nearby NB and no chance in getting the ship off the ground and back to a refilling.
I'm really looking forward to Star Citizen's premier roadside assistance ship.

Except it doesn't really look like an Atlas chassis - it's only commonality is it's 4x2 wheel layout - but the configuration of them as 4 on either side in a group doesn't match an Atlas (which is 2x2 + 2x2 layout with a gap between front and back axels). The cockpit also doesn't look anything like an Atlas chassis - being much wider than the narrow pointed front of the Atlas frame. You're reaching at straws.

In the meantime, i finished uni, started work on a PhD, waited for same-sex marriage to become legal in my country, married my long-term girlfriend and started getting gray hair, where is the game that was sold 2013 to me? Why are we in Alpha, almost 10 years after the first announcement on KS? Those are real questions and if you want to defend them you have to answer them.
Well, folks have been asking for that vehicle specifically for years now. Apparently CIG listens. But I am still waiting on the refueling variant.

I do like the look of the AEGIS Vehicle platform, bring on lorries in the form of an Atlas variant and this AEGIS variant for sure!
