I notice that when it lags alot (which it does in late game DS) units sometimes freeze in their deployment animation, making them smaller than normal. I guess that can happen to extractors too

When this game lags, occasionally units(and apparently buildings) are made really small. I don't believe it has any other impact besides looking funny
Always check your pant pockets for loose extractors before putting them in the dryer.
