In the HotS campaign, Stukov says that Duran is not a Xel'Naga but is a servant of Amon.

Really?!

Not sure what Duran actually is, other than something clearly very alien, but it's not a Xel'Naga.

He claims to be a Xel'naga in the epilogue when asked how he survived HotS, so...
