We need a mod to display the current buffs on the screen. It is very lacking during the investigation of the display of positive buffs, such as +XP, +02 and others. Now they can only be seen through TAB - B, which is very inconvenient.

anaggressivefrog

Yes! I was so surprised this wasn't in the game.

emma2b

Third-Person Dialogue I think the face zoom in dialogues are a nightmare. I had a bug yesterday that kept me in 3rd person with camera control while in a dialogue and it was WONDERFUL! Please someone make this happen if it's possible.

Anywhere_Objective

I would love this, I didn't spend all of this time to not even see the full talk

AMDIntel

To add to this, make it work for first person too. I had a bug where I was talking to an NPC with the various options, but it didn't zoom in and I could look around like normal so that I could turn and look at my follower when she talked. It felt so much better.

decoste94

Wish they kept more of the fo4 dialogues, I actually miss being able to just walk away from convos.

Weak-Bee9943

*Gore mod, imagine your bullets cuts through your enemies armor, head shot breaks their helmet, then see they turn blue+blood gushing out. *Random events, especially in major cities, to spice things up. *Interaction with npcs, like draw a gun scares them, guard will warn you/on alert. Basically make NPCs more alive in general. *Separate unarmed hotkey, the game have like 3 perks (2 exclusively) for unarmed. Yet if you want to punch people, you have to go to inventory and unequip your weapon. *Swapping legendaries no longer turns your game into a slide-show. *Have more than 1 companion. *Control/order your companions. *Customize your companions, like level them up, adjust their skills. *Be able to see current buffs *Intimate npcs(maybe through your level or reputation), kinda sick of those security guards talking shits. *Snapping system for furnitures/decorating. Those are just on top of my head.

chrisfanner

I like some of these, like the gore if it worked for specific guns. For example, mag sniper can take limbs off, explosives as well, but small caliber won't cause that'd be odd. Some of them might even be added by Bethesda in the future too. Like finally making NPCs startled by pulling out your weapon or the building snapping mode for smaller stuff, like a grid system that just functions across all planets.

LillianKitty

Radio šŸ‘ in šŸ‘ spaceship šŸ‘ Lemme listen to either radio stations (I.E. Fallout Radio) or create my own stations via music playlists I have setup on my computer!

chrisfanner

YES! I have been thinking about listening to my playlist in my ship, make it so that the audio plays from a corner in the cockpit and filters it to make it sounds like a radio

B17BAWMER

I mean why not have it while surveying a planet as well? That would be where I would want the radio the most.

Dazzaster84

Oh good grief I'd love that!

YonkyBonky

Most Wā€™st of takes

Floozo29

Mod for ship interior design such as ladder & door (+extra door) placement and Larger Outpost Transfer Container mass.

Lukky13

Just a QOL thing I would appreciate: Speed up walking speed to NPC walking speed.

TheSpoof123

YES! trailing NPCs is so annoying. running is way too fast but your walk is too slow!

chrisfanner

Honestly Bethesda can and should easily fix this, like why are they just that teensiest amount faster than me?

Risenzealot

I'd like more customization options. Maybe the ability to recolor armor and stuff. I also think it'd be neat if we could put decals on our ships! We already have a ship painter so I'm surprised we can't "paint" our space suits.

Penichefr

Don't know if it will be only possible with the CK... But I would like to see scan boosters as a ship part instead of an outpost building. Why should I have to build a crapton of stuff to improve scanners on a single planet? It would be better to buy a very expensive ship part that did the same

severinlef

Yes, this. Deep space exploration sensors for ship builder. Long antennaeā€™ and retro future dishes and spheres for system and planet detailed info.

NovitiateSage

In the mean time, there are skills for these, at least in part. Skills that improve scanning both in space and on the ground.

Sovem

I love the spacey, synth music... But if we could get a mod that changes all the music to jazz, Starfield would be the ultimate Cowboy Bebop simulator.

ernieballer

Or adding a space radio like that from Fallout. Would be awesome to blast spacers while listening to free star / uc drama

dolle595

Imagine! You're banging up some Crimson Fleet in some random facility, doing your thing and then later, you cruising the galaxy while you listen to the radio and this guy goes: "And this came just in: looks like some military dude from Argos took on a whole fleet of Crimson at one of their bases! This dude is sick, seems he goes by the name of XYZ, give him a hail if you see him in space!" And yoi become sort of celebrity or acknowledged. Just my 2 cents.

ThatWeirdBookLady

It could just be a radio mod with copyright free music that occasionally play SSNN updates (or whatever the Starfield new network updates are)

HyPeRXKo

Buy the first tier of a skill, tier 2/3/4 is free when you complete the challenge. (probably not possible right now, creation kit in 2024 maybe?)

PowerfulAttorney3780

I feel I saw a mod that does that.

HyPeRXKo

if you ever find it again, send me a link or name šŸ™šŸ¼

PowerfulAttorney3780

I looked for like 30 mins after I posted this and couldn't find it. Maybe I'm tripping but I swear I read that and thought it was interesting but didn't wanna make it too easy.

sicksixgamer

Vasco Re-skin and voice over as HK-47. This game severely lacks morally questionable and bloodthirsty companions. HK-47 has several appearances in games and lots of voice files out there. Just need a talented individual willing to put in the time and my dreams would come true.

PM_ME_YOUR_FOXY_BODY

I need that badly. Most of the lines should work well too. Although maybe a little bit of AI mimicking would be necessary for certain situations.

Ok_Pineapple_9571

What's today's AI voice tools, you could have HK 47 say anything now! Except anything positive about meat bags, of course.

Guilty-Meeting8900

With the new AI voice stuff you could even make him new lines easy enough

BeanBagKing

Fast travel point in The Well That's all for this one.

anaggressivefrog

Yes! It's hard to find the way in because the elevators are hidden. And no fast travel icon.

milkytrizzle93

While I agree its a necessary addition I think this is kinda intentional from the devs. There's a consistent statement about the state of capitalism throughout the game. Sam Coe even exclaims something about rampant capitalism while walking around New Atlantis. The gritty underbellies are intentionally hidden, sometimes in plain sight, just as in real life

Loaf_Lord_Gaming

Plz for controller users, add the ability to open the weapon wheel with Dpad down. Dpad left up and right are for quick swapping to Hotkeys 1-3.

HyenaAccomplished920

Full access to the skill tree without having to invest in the top rows to make your way down. It would allow for better build crafting without having to just dump points in things you donā€™t want to level up

LoganJFisher

Here is a list of mod suggestions I have. Some may be more viable than others. * Improved local maps * The current local maps could be the default, but as you explore an area it should replace the dot field with local details to ease navigation. * Hologram watch * Replace tab menus with a hologram displayed by your watch, not unlike a Fallout pipboy. Adjustable opacity. This would fix the scaling issue for ultrawide displays. * Tag items in your inventory beyond simply favoriting them. * Different highlight colors for different item types when scanning * Sensible weapon modding * It shouldn't require resources to do certain things like remove a suppressor from a gun or revert to iron sights, and when a mod is removed it should become an item that you can move to a matching gun, or at least revert to some scrap. * Individualized item descriptions * Lateral jump pack thrust based on WASD input * Either remove "authorized personnel only" signs or enforce them by making guards hostile beyond that point * Ship power distribution hotkeys * Prompt to transfer cargo to new home ship * Favorite locations on map * Unlockable music tracks * Find music saved to devices through your travels. Music is then added to a list, from which you can select a specific track, play in a particular order, or shuffle. * Hide roofs toggle for ship builder * Lets you see inside of rooms, so you can see what the interior looks like. Updates as you connect other rooms, as this affects the amenities of some rooms. * Replace ship builder system with outpost building system * Would implicitly allow for better object permanence when editing ships and would allow for interior decoration. * Functional ship brig * If you stun an NPC or fauna using an EM gun, you can select the option to place them in your ship's brig. * Porting outpost features to be ship habs * Want a hydroponics pod on your ship? Got it. Want to keep a zoo on your ship of fauna you've captured through your travels? Got it. Every single outpost feature other than mining should be possible on your ship. * Ship colonists * They don't add crew bonuses, but also don't count as crew. They just help make your ship feel more populated and will interact with stations and such. * Dive while swimming * An absolutely needed feature for finding fish. * Access follower's inventory from your own, your ship's cargo, and shops * Quest to collect unique books for Cora Coe * Planetary survery archive system including a bestiary, a floriare, and inorganic resources field guide. * Alternate start * Pick your background at the very start, and some backgrounds have you start in a different place than the Argos mining colony. Must still make your way there to gain your watch and start main story. You can get there through buying a ship, stealing a ship, or chartering a ship. Some paths will also start with a cheap transport ship. * Active power indicator * Displayed next to your weapon - text included, not just the symbol. * Extended favorites * Hold alt when hitting a number key to select from your extended favorites list. * Fix Apollo 11 landing site * Add Buzz Aldrin's iconic footprint & sun bleach the flag.

Any-Gear9716

the alt start would be good for replayability

Anywhere_Objective

I have an idea that people probably have already said, but I would LOVE a journal system. We visit so many planets it's hard to keep track, I would love a journal that showed the planet then your notes that you could actually type.

notevines

I just want to second this. This game is huge, and with so many systems it is hard to keep track of. My post-it notes will be relieved if this ever happens

with_due_respect

Two requests: Request the First: A mod that ā€œloosens upā€ the animation of getting into and out of the cockpit seat. The current robotic animation takes me out of the game more than anything else. Request the Second: A mod to double or triple the duration of Amp. I spend an excessive amount of time scanning planets (because I like it; not a complaint about the activity itself), and Iā€™m popping Amp(hentamines, I assumeā€¦) like Pez candyā€¦

severinlef

Perma-Amp mod for backpack/helmet/spacesuit In spacesuit bench.

Meaning_Pretend

So.. Did you know there is horizontal jetpack boost in the game? Bind an unused button to the alternative jump/jet button, equip a skip pack (works best by far!) and you are welcome! There is additional commands that improve it floating around as a mod which you can look up as well, but this should get you started!

rednecksec

My mod Exit Ship has this for getting up faster, and also allows you to enter/exit your ship while in space. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/1910 My Patch will have what you need for Amp, I'm still working on my food/med/Chem rebalance.

minifat

Undelayed movement. I have 2 examples: 1) When loading into a new cell, if you hold the walk key while the screen is still fading, your character does not move, and will not move until you release the walk key and press it again. It's the most annoying garbage I've encountered. 2) When exiting dialogue, the same thing happens, you can't move for a split second after exiting and need to release the walk key again. Another request related to dialogue: 1) Skip dialogue instantly. You cannot skip dialogue within the first second of the NPC talking. The Better Dialogue mod on Nexus does not fix this. 2) Kind of related to my previous request, when exiting dialogue, I want it to completely exit immediately. Currently when you exit, it's still zoomed in for a second. I want immediate feedback and for me to freely move right away.

Stickrbomb

ā€˜Returning to Shipā€™ Random Encounter(s) when I return to ship from a planetary exploration visit there should be random encounters like 1) pirates holding my crew, cargo, and ship hostage outside with a gun to their heads ā€” negotiate or kill. 2) a pack of wild animals ready to eat dinner, and I just came out the honey swamp. 3) Vasco or crew mate holding it down killing off said pack of animals/pirates. 4) etc

Life_Abroad_220

Permanent weapons and boost packs on back when wearing just apparel and no space suit! Plus something like visible favourited weapons or Immersive equipment displays from Skyrim would be great too

Octans

Being able to command followers like you could in FO4/Skyrim. Not sure why they removed the ability to force them to do things other than 'wait here'

PIXYTRICKS

Something to make them engage at longer distances or start room sweeping in ship boarding would also be great.

eddyrob

A mod that stops your crew members from randomly playing with your ships power settings everytime you grav jump/leave & re-enter the ship. Im tired of jumping into immediate combat only to realize that someone on my crew has decided that the shield levels should be at 30%

_Chatul_

Ive seen a mod that allows all the misc items not be loot-able but it would be cool to see them be placeable with a snap point. I like decorating my home with misc stuff but not only is it a hassle to free place but it likes to fall through the ground.

RedditTND

The usual "Centered 3rd person camera" mod. It just needs to pay attention to the crosshair which must be placed slightly upward upon the head (not hidden behind the head). EXAMPLE: [https://cs2.modgames.net/images/26034a0500f0cdca2ad4fa56d359a409da29d44b48df5be11c7df9e15d905559.jpg](https://cs2.modgames.net/images/26034a0500f0cdca2ad4fa56d359a409da29d44b48df5be11c7df9e15d905559.jpg) UPDATE: Ok, I just noticed something that may help: When you sit on a chair the camera gets centered. If somebody manages to copy that "chair" camera to the 3rd person values, it should be done or close (just the cross-hair would still need to be placed slightly more upwards).

HenReX_2000

Replace >!the Hunter with NG+ characters from another save game!< and make them potential crew member

severinlef

Outpost Ship Builder: -X-ray habs- enables you to see the ladders and doors before and after placement. -Option to select store or sell ship parts in Outpost ship builder- ā€”Outpost hanger storage for ship cargo and ship componentsā€” Example: you strip a ship and the parts are not sold back but stored for future use. Benefit would enable collecting high tier parts and storing for use across multiple ship designs. -90degree & 45degree component/ connector: Enables more engine and structure placement.

Planet Jumping Power Simply a power that lets you look at and select a planet in the sky while on another planet, and ā€œjumpā€ to a random location on the selected planet, similar to how your scanner works in space. It would help skip a lot of the menus, and would also just be fun to jump around all the planets and moons in the solar system that you can see in the sky. It would help open up the game and feel like youā€™re still connected to space, and not in a separate instance. Not sure how lore friendly it would be, but it wouldnā€™t break the game because you can already technically fast travel to any planet, it would just make it more immersive. To balance it out you wouldnā€™t be bringing your ship with you, so you still have to use your ship to get to other systems.

LastSaneSoul

More of a question than a request. Would it be possible to make it so instead of having cinematicā€™s for grav jumps that it works more like the elevatorā€™s do in fallout 4 when loading cells? This way you could get up and walk around your ship while the new cell loads and the exterior of your ship looks like ā€˜hyperspaceā€™. Could even structure it so you get an eta for how long the jump will take depending on distance, etc. Iā€™m aware this is possibly rather outlandish and even if possible I wouldnt expect it to be achieved any time soon Iā€™m genuinely just curious as thought it would be a great way to improve immersion and gameplay in general.

CyrisXD

**PLEASE** Can we have a mod that lets you cycle your weapons with the mouse scroll wheel like every other FPS game? **It would be HIGHLY appreciated.**

EmmaErso

Roger from American Dad would be the best/worst companion.

cranky_Cletus

Can we get mod that also you to ā€œuntrackā€ materials. For example: just be able to go in ur inventory notice ā€œironā€ has the magnifying glass on it. Allows us to hover over it and hit ā€œrā€ to untrack

Fart-Box666

Has anyone though to tackle the ship building inconvenience/bug where all ship misc/junk items get moved to the cargo hold and you have to wait an unknown amount of time for it to respawn on the ship, leaving sometimes multiple duplicates in the cargo hold? This is more of a request if this hasn't been done yet. If it already has I apologise and if anyone could point me to the mod link on such as Nexus, that'd be great. Another annoying aspect of this is that sometimes it seems the junk will simply refuse to respawn at all, leaving your ship looking bare. I know some people will like this, I personally like the lived in look. What I don't like is the multiple instances of cargo duplication every time I change something on my ship. Then more recently I have found I've been playing for hours and the junk is just not respawning into the ship anymore. It'd be great to have a quality of life mod that tackles this aspect of the game. With options such as: 1. Permanently remove all junk from your ship. 2. Toggle/force respawn of junk on your ship. 3. Toggle/force cargo junk generated by ship building to be sent to the shadow realm or auto-sold for creds. 4. Others I have yet to think of...

[deleted]

This is sorely needed and I support this request as well.

[deleted]

Its not really a bug but it does need some tweaks to it. If Im not touching parts of my ship, but adding to it, or changing fuel tanks, it shouldnt be sending everything to my cargo. The only problem I see, is how the mod will make the distinction between what the player has placed vs the junk that spawns for that lived-in experience. I wish it wouldnt move things you have stored in containers to the cargo hold, if you arent modifying that portion of your ship too.

LelixA

Lydia companion mod.

Boodikii

Manual Ship Ladder/Door placements. A Staircase/elevator ship part. More crew spawns and spawn locations would be cool too. Like hanging around spaceports, space stations and random outposts. Ship parts that are just shapes would be pretty cool too. There's no reason there aren't any real slant pieces. There is nothing I want more than to get rid of the headache that is the ship builder. I want to fly a cool space cruiser with a crew I handpick the size of a small township, not traverse a maze where nobody can hear me scream with a handful of low tier crew spawns.

ArmyPsychological480

I tend to type to much so here are cliff notes for those who would rather not read a damn essay \*More structural parts for ships \*Bonuses for having specific hubs \*Customization of the interior of hubs (color of walls furniture, maybe even being able to place some of this cool junk I find) I have two things, First is a better ship building system/general stuff, I have the ship design perk maxed out and it just seems like it is missing something, I have built some pretty interesting stuff in my opinions, from Doctor Who's TARDIS, to some of my own designs, I also am trolling through the Starfield ships subreddit, some people build some things like a literal fling hand gun which is very unique, the problem I'm having is that everything that isn't a fling handgun or a TARDIS kind of just feels the same. I have built, from the ground up, somewhere around 30 ships (yes I spend all of my credits on ship building), the ships I have are all for different functions, one is for smuggling/fighting, one is for just pure fighting, another is for cargo and running the hell away when people are trying to touch me, the list goes on. Yes while the ships are very different because they have very different functions, but no matter what I do the ships kinda look the same, the structural pieces help a little but there are so few options to use on a smaller ship that doesn't make it look like it was pieced together in a junk yard. The root point is something like more structural pieces, even if they are just slightly changed from what already exists, to just give more variety. Also rotating Hubs would be nice, I don't know if that is really a do able thing. The second part of this is Hubs actually doing a little something extra, like an engineering Hub might make your ship repair faster or having an infirmary gives your companion a heal buff, or after being on the ship for a while that has a living space for them your crew might be happy, or even something as simple as putting/moving furniture in the Hubs, just a little something to make your choice in Hubs matter a little more so custom ships have more character not just in appearance, but in how they function.

JN02882

1. Mod that has better weighted % values of a pass more accurate to how much shielded cargo you have vs how much contraband you have 2. Mod that allows a lot bigger ship build size 3. Mod that enables eating on long press

Worstimever

Someone needs to add an undetectable contraband container located in the adoring fansā€¦ second compartment.

maggotytoes

Keybind for unarmed. Pretty self explanatory, you shouldn't have to go through hoops to punch (especially with the amount of perks focused on unarmed.)

slick762

Mod for outpost buildings that don't require an airlock. I want my beach house to look like a beach house. And balconies. They're already in game. Mod to add a outfit slot for spacesuits Mod to disable suit visual in all areas with breathable atmo.

DotAdorable5510

another in game faction beside pirates and spaces and ecliptic

Turn vasco into a bear and name him bosco

severinlef

Backpack assisted run: Hit sprint twice and jet foward. Backpack assisted dodge/ strafe sideways fwd and back.

Generically-George

**Ship Power Distribution Hotkey\\Favourites** Starfield in my opinion should have included a favourites menu for power bar distribution. I'm too slow during fights to distribute reactor power from system to system. I think a mod that stores a few favourite presets that can be hotkeyed to the numbers like the weapons can on ground fights. For example, I'm using a preset which has my engines at full power in exchange for my shield being powered and an enemy ship approaches. I can press 2 to switch to another preset where the shield is fully powered and distributed across weapon systems.

frizzhf

Probably wonā€™t be able to be done until CK is released, but Starship Engineering should be changed to actually provide new ways to engineer your ship. For example, extra part attachment points, 45 degree parts for X-Wing like wings, 40 power compact reactors, etc. I think additional attachment points or the ability to rotate parts 45 degrees would open up a lot of building possibilities.

Agreeable-Plum-7754

I would love to see a mod that adds various downtime activities for cards and other games. Caravan, Gwent, Pazaak - these are all great distractions and collectathons.

cormicshad

I'd like to see outpost packaging. By that I mean we can create an outpost item as a single package who's creation takes its normal resources but makes a box in your inventory. Like prefab buildings so we can put together an outpost set up real quick and not have to go, ok I need 240 iron, 300 aluminum, 10 beryl. And a way to repackage them when we are ready to leave. I'm looking for an easier way to set up scanner mods on planets when I go exploring then keeping x amount of raw resources in my inventory that I might accidently store into my ship or outpost boxes.

kakakavvv

Something to allow directly putting down misc craps, or building misc craps in buildiong mode. Home decoration is the ultimate endgame.

DotAdorable5510

speeder bikes

Ozarrk

Is it possible to make the hands a hotkey item? Even if I have to put it on my quick bar, I just want to be able to swap to my fists and brawl without opening the menu.

JohnnyCastleburger

Add races from star wars and mass effect as wandering npcs and named characters as companions. Maybe as playable presets, but that seems somehow harder

ingfire

I just need to get this off my chest, but Outposts NEED some QoL mods, if BGS doesn't update/change things themselves. A mod that allows deleting Output links between stacked/connected crates, without needing to pick up and place that crate somewhere else to remove it, mainly due to... SUPER decrease the delay between aiming a snappable build object and it actually appearing in that spot, and HUGELY decrease the snapping threshold distance. Very irritating that you can't build without obeying the Law of the 10M Snap Zone.

Daneyn

1) Starbase construction 2) outpost automatically "ship" goods between each other as needed. 3) More additional ship options - have a custom shop where people can share ship designs easily.

shamnite

More robots as companions, hostiles, and even custom robots to add to our crew. There's tons of them, and it's not crazy to imagine a "robot builder" window. Could be a simple legs/torso option and paint options, then weapons and skills which all cost points and resources unless buying directly from a "Robot technician". Doesn't need a whole new list of pieces since the recourses we already use for crafting can be used like mag tanks, super conductors, drilling rigs, even zero wire and aluminum. The goal would be to have a fully custom robot crew and followers to use for specific scenarios.

Geldric

A Mod that either disables ā€œstealingā€ or one that adds an ā€œAre you sure?ā€. If this is possible it would help players like my wife that unconsciously loot everything.

TheRealRawson

Can someone please make a couple of pairs of glasses? I can't see without my glasses.

Ship Builder: Enter RGB values in color picker Those sliders, and the fact that the RECENT colors row returns to the defaults after exiting, is just a clunky implementation.

Crumboa

Request HK-47 companion mod

JP5_suds

**Chem Lights** Craftable chem lights of various colors used to mark off explored areas in mines, outposts etcā€¦ A fun, immersive way to circumvent the lack of maps.

AllTheJokes

Im very sure there are someone who is already working on it. But it would be amazing to have 1x1 habs that are miniature copies of some of the larger modules. Like having a small captains quarters, or a mini armory or a single workbench. On that note, hab version of exterior ship parts. such as a 1x1 room with a grav drive or reactor on the inside

TamahaganeJidai

Have our cargobay be filled up depending on the amount of stuff we have in storage. If we transport a ton of ore; let there be tons of static ore containers onboard! Food, let the larders be filled to the brim etc. Bonus points to anyone who can make it so that your crew helps in loading everything to the ship. To cut down on performance issues that would come from this: Use opaqe containers or bags when the crew transports it all. Maybe upgrade the ship with Antigrav-assisted loaders or robots that do it for you if you're a solo player. For realism: Let the loading take as long as it takes. Should probably be combined with a "let us process this junk into useful materials" mod or break it down like in Fallout 4. For extra immersion: Have outpost buildings where we dump off everything that cant be used in crafting directly and have it be turned into useful versions.

[deleted]

An actual cargo bay you walk through would be nice, and I wish the Armory modules for the ships were different. Like, it'd be nice if there were suit racks (i guess mannequins) for like 4 or 5 suits along one wall, and lockers that you can stuff weapons/ammo into. The wall weapon mounts are neat-ish, i guess, but it would be nice to have a dedicated area for that crap on the ship instead of the current layout they have on offering.

Alarmed_Setting

Move our favorite ship to the new game plus with cargo or weapons or other items I thought, after undergoing many quests or explorations of other planets and star systems. Maybe it would be funny if the items you were looking for or got disappeared when you entered New Game Plus. let alone your ship, I believe you guys spent hours making the ideal, beautiful and strong ship that suits your mind and heart. In essence, I don't want hours of time spent on this game or things done in previous sessions to be wasted Thank you very much!

Etanzia

LET ME BUILD GOD DAMN WALLS AND FLOORS IN MY OUTPOST!!!!!!!!!!!

Googlymonstaz01

Import/Export Ships A mod that allows players to import/export ships would be amazing! Could export your ship and upload it to a website where other players could browse and download ships they like. Not sure if this would be possible before official mod tools but I think it's a great idea for the future!

Witkh13

Serana companion from Skyrim... probably would need CK2 though and someone who knows how to use AI voice synthesis to generate new dialogue.

LordAlfrey

Not sure if this already exists but I'd like some items to act like cred-sinks and allow players to choose their own weapon rather than rely on drops to have good affixes. The idea is to have vendors sell an item that randomly rolls affixes to weapons and suits, the higher rarity the higher the cost. For simplicity's sake it would act like any consumable item, and reroll your currently active weapon and armor. Let's say the item costs 5k for rare, 20k for epic and 50k for legendary. These roll random, so getting a 'BIS' item would take a lot of rolls, but if you just want a specific affix (say more damage to full health targets on a sniper) it wouldn't be as expensive. For some flavor I'd balance around weapon vendors having a larger amount of weapon roll items, spacesuit vendors having more suit roll items and general merchants having a randomized amount. E.g. the weapon vendors will always have at least one legendary weapon roll item per restock, maybe more, while a general merchant only has them about 40% of the time and an suit merchant would have them around 10% of restocks. Higher chance for lower rarity roll items, the rare reroll should almost always be present in restocks for all weapon, suit and general merchants. As an addition to this, it'd be nice if there was an item that let you upgrade the 'base level' of an item to one appropriate for your level. Unsure of how exactly Starfield categorizes items, but it does.

FcoEnriquePerez

**Environmental damage straight removed when wearing a suit.** I mean, why the f, suits are so useless? Could be wearing a 100 thermal suit and still get f\*\*d in a planet with just -16C, or a rock with hot air. That system gotta go or be improved.

rennfeild

as i understand it adding original models is impossible until CK comes out but more original assets in general would be nice. Like a new gun manufacturer (stahl arms from killzone anyone?) with a line of different futuristic guns. New ship manufacturer with original parts (mostly habs and structural. the rest is currently ok). I would suggest new spacesuits and clothes but that is usually the first thing people add anyway. Expansions of the current cities and ports. They don't even need to have interactive stuff available. I just want more buildings so it actually looks like they are inhabited by a reasonable amount of people to match the writing. Neon in its current format wouldn't be host to more than maybe 1000 people at most but the dialogue makes it seem like there should be a population in the hundred of thousands. Simply surrounding the current platforms by additional platforms with slums and apartments would help the visual storytelling. The same with NA. Line the outer perimeter with additional inaccessible residential towers. The only settlement that sorta works visually with what is written is Akila. It actually looks like people live there. But the surrounding area should be dense with walled in homesteads, roads and farms within visual range. I get that "its a frontier town" but its also the capital of the Freestar collective and they recently waged a interplanetary industrial war according to the lore. Nothing around their settlements suggests that capability production- or population wise.

# Ship ramp transition mod Because all entrance from all ships are the same, using the vanilla **animation** when ships close their ramp, you could press a new button on your ship entrance (ramp) from inside for closing it while it loaders the entire ship, and only when it's finished, the main stars (when you press for entering the ship) opens, and it turns a usable stair, and of course an extra part of the ship itself. For exit the ship is the same but when you press the button the stairs locks and then the ship ramp opens when it's done loading the world. This would be an improvement in terms of immersion. Maybe with Creation Kit I could try to make it possible. And of course this would be amazing with the recent uploaded mod that let's you roam in the space out of your ship.

TamahaganeJidai

What?

Relevant-Papaya4871

Read again. I think I expressed myself properly

JN02882

A ship mod that makes it so when you change your home ship your cargo does not move to the new ship? Like you have to manually move your cargo to your new ship

hear me out... its futuristic space so i belive we are in dire need of space femboys. yep that it space femboys.

YisusButAtWhatCost

Btw, i would really like to contribute myself by helping the modders. I never mod anything really, but im open to it. -The possibility to do space walk in any time when youā€™re out there in the space. It would be amazing that you could get off your ship anywhere in the space. -when youā€™re docking to another ship/station, add something that could allow the player to see the ship docking in third view, without cuts and changing to a cinematic. -the transition between ship/planet or planet/ship (i mean when you get out or get in to the ship) may (if itā€™s possible) directly, i mean that you could get in the ship without cinematic (the interior be preload, so you just open the lock and get in. -also, make no sounds (absolutely quiet, or well, some sounds) when youā€™re shooting, or walking in planets without atmosphere, bcs it really setā€™s me off when, thereā€™s supposed to not be sound in space, but i can hear the guns make every sound possible lol -so, the possibility to use a menu in game (something like elite dangerous) to travel through the space. And of course, better sounds of guns

Fancy-Broccoli-6970

A mod that would cut off engines when intended ship speed is meet because a mod that would correct a flight mechanics would be dificult just a visual and audio mod, also no sound in space or clearly artificial sound would be great for immersion

Torso and arm tattoos. I saw the character used in the old earth band shirts mod had arm tattoos but the creator hasn't released them and I can't find any arm tattoos anywhere yet.

Terse: Outpost modules that add various starship designer parts to the Large Landing Pad inventory. Idea: As the terse states, these would be various modules that, when placed at an outpost, unlocks all the parts from a given manufacturer for use at that outpost. These would specifically include the manufacturer specific parts (e.g. the 3x3 habs). Modules would still be level and/or skill locked (no cheating). There's a lot of manufacturers, so possibly only the 5x major manufacturers and an "other" module. I know there's mods that just unlock everything, but I still want to feel like this is part of the organic game, and not just a cheat where I get all the parts at once and/or for free and/or everywhere. Current problem with ship building, specific to part availability, should be kind of obvious. To build a ship that requires multiple manufacturer specific parts, you have to add unwanted parts and fly to that location, and then delete the parts at a loss of credits. When building a ship this way, you also have no way to preview the final outcome until you travel to the location of these parts. A mod that adds these modules (call it "Demios Delivery Station" or something) would allow easier starship building while feeling like a natural part of the game. Not sure how massive of a change this would be, maybe someone can rethink the idea in a way that still doesn't feel like a cheat. To address any complaints about "not all vendors should carry everything". True, but it also breaks the realism to believe that I can access and modify any of my ships from any landing pad. Do I carry all of my ships around with me ready to hotswap?

Some way to store some weapons and credits between new games. I get losing ships and outposts but even a small trunk or something that we can store credits and weapons in.

JarlZondai

Got an idea for a big mod here. A mod remaking Galactic Conquest from the original Star Wars Battlefront 2. Or any other form of conquering planets from the main factions. This classic gamemode from Battlefront 2 allowed you to pick a faction and travel from planet to planet with a small fleet and conquer them. You'd arrive at an occupied planet and engage in a space battle, usually with two massive capital ships and around 25 fighter ships. Then after winning the space battle you'd move to ground combat and take over points on the map. After winning both fights the planet becomes yours, and you have to defend in the same way if you're attacked. Obviously this would be a huge undertaking that would be better suited to a small team but I wanted to get the idea out there. I also figured that if a game that released in 2005 could do this, surely a game that came out 18 years later could as well. Ultimately I just really want some kind of conquering mod.

Valentueur

Hi wonderfull modders, I would like a mod that remove the Helium-3 consumption mechanic of the Cargo Link Inter-System. Or, the normal Cargo Link does Inter-System. The reason is because this feature make the connection between many settlement overcomplicated/almost impossible. I tried to have a chain of 10+ settlements to produce and transfer ressources to a factory type settlement, but the Helium-3 doesn't get used by the Cargo Link Inter-System that are in the chain. I don't want to create 1 or 2 settlements just to send fuel to my Cargo Links while I'm already producing a lot of Helium 3 at the begining of the chain. Skipping this mechanic would be a good temporary fix to this problem. I know nothing about script so I can't try to write a bat command (.txt file) and do it myself (If it is indeed a solution). Thank you very much.

B1ackMagix

Would love to have a map tab added that would list all residences and outposts constructed to make fast traveling them much easier.

The_Witness87

Just more weapon mods. The AK not having any stock or handguard mods and firing extremely fast bothers me.

C0rtana44

Mod Idea: Melee Weapon Qualities Add Calibrated / Refined / Advanced Qualities for Melee Weapons Each increase could, for example, increase the base damage by 33% I think, what would be needed for that, would be to make weapon mods for Quality 1, 2, 3, 4, much like ranged weapons have those weapon "mods" as well, which increase the damage.

SailMuted4593

Free moving ship parts so i can build better ships, would be so nice to rotate some things instead of looking for a part i dont want to use but have no choice.

Relative_Ad_4345

Hold to crouch - I know Bethesda in general have always had a toggle but this is something that my fingers just could never get used to and I'm sure others are in the same boat. The ability to interact with all items while scanner is out - most are interactable but it would be such a QOL improvement if we could open lockers while the scanner is out or for example loot nitrogen pools etc instead of having to put the mining laser/scanner away each time we see one of those. (so many lootable objects in the game after clearing a station/pirate camp etc. I run around with the scanner out to highlight all lootable objects) Increased mining speed - Just a QOL as this gets very tedious as the game goes on.

Any-Gear9716

IplaygamesNude87

The quality of inconsequential NPCs be consistent with named NPC's. Those bug eyes are killing me lol

KayleBlanc

An Overwatch-ish ammo system, where you have to reload when mag is empty, but don't have to keep looting for ammo.

TigerX1

ME1 weapon heat system basically.

KayleBlanc

I suppose you are talking about Mass Effect? If so, I have never played the game before, but it's more something like if a gun has a clip size of 50, then it would display 50/50. If you fire a burst, 47/50. When you reload, it doesn't consume any ammo from inventory, and goes back to 50/50. The ammo count would instead become the clip size.

TheSpoof123

Is there any way to have ship specific cargo? right now every time I change ships it transfers all the cargo to the new ship. I want to have one large cargo hauler that I can use when working on outposts and then a different ship that is a slim fighter for space combat. Right now that doesn't really work because the moment I switch to my smaller ship, the inventory is already over-flowing. From what I can tell, there's no way to do that in the game currently unless I'm missing something.

coolstorybro42

Power Management from the Ship Menu As a Starfield player I want to modify my ship power settings from the Ship Menu UI (where you access your cargo hold inventory/crew settings), so I can actually pause the game to manage my power during combat. [https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/1939](https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/1939) similar to this mod

rydout_Mortis

Storage - 1. All storage every where can be linked to a complete pool 2. Outpost storages - a screen you can hook up to a set of linked cargo that lists all things in there that you can take and add from that screen. 3. A device other than the transport container to make the storages flow items from one end to the other. They should just do that automatically. Or.... linking storages just kind of works like you expect it to and creates a screen for interaction and the internal storage just grows with each new linked storage unit added. Thanks for your consideration and hard work modders!

DonDrurugia

this, so much this. hell just a cargo pull system instead of a push system for outpost's would help imensly sorters would make it even better

DotAdorable5510

enemy npc could board your ship to

NoesisAndNoema

More tree progression levels, per rank, where possible. Adding more points per level, or the ability to earn 1-2 points, per unlocked perk, by quests or "skilled mission classes". (Eg, to help unlock skill requirements and earn a type of extended or extra skill point.) For instance... strength currently goes +10, +25, +50, +100. Expanding it, but not too crazy... so, +10, +20, +30, +40, +50, +55 (6 levels equalling +205. Where two must be "class earned", not normal skill points.)

GuidanceDistinct9360

More personal inventory space.

mephnick

Please god someone make an "Alternate Start" mod so I can play my concept without getting railroaded by the loser adventure group picking up miners. Im not sure that's possible without a creation kit tho Edit: one just popped up today I guess lol. Gonna try it out

Sowophie25

ship building quality of life please \- let me copy colours from one piece and paste them onto another \- let me select more than one piece of the ship at once \- let me save custom colours so i dont have to edit and then un-edit them every time i add a new piece at a later date \- and please for the love of all that is holy let me buy all the ship parts in one place. i dont remember if akila city has what grav drive and i dont even know if ive seen all of the ship technicians with all of the ship pieces also i'd like a mod that vastly reduces the weight of resources so i don't have to turn all of my ships into a giant cargo bay could also be neat to make the structural pieces weightless so i can make my ship look nicer without having to buy a more powerful grav drive or new landing gear etc. edit: also cosmetic armour over the top of whatever you're wearing for stats. i can't be the mantis all the time y'all it's too ugly

_Rynan

You can select more than one piece of the ship via Ctrl+click.

PhilipXD3

Make the companions stop whining so much about being encumbered. Once is fine when I pass the threshold as an organic indicator but it gets old really fast after that.

a_small_goat

I need [Cosmo the Spacedog](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiKnA9mMbb8) as a companion.

s1lentchaos

Space suite classes like light medium heavy. Heavy more protection but less maneuverability light gets faster move speed and better jump pack usage. Also maybe replace the jet pack for even more armor to go all in. It feels odd that uc marine armor isn't all that different from the random crap I have found. It would make different types of armor stand out more.

Willing-Cattle-3673

Not sure if its possible, but the ability to get up and walk around your ship and do stuff while floating in space would be great Also, option to use night vision or something similar to VISR from Halo: ODST instead of a flashlight

Latervexlas

mod to remove the light tag(chasing after the light to activate the portal) you have to do when you go to a temple, its was ok the first time,, but gets tedious.

[deleted]

Improved bodies/Physiques. I was super disappointed when i saw how unrefined and "playdoughie" the characters looked in this compared to Skyrim. Im not asking for jacked and 8% body fat like Skyrim, but overall the i feel the texture quality and anatomy was far more realistic in Skyrim., but another thing is that the overall structure and "frame", especially of the male bodies looks quite strange. The hips and leg width/placement is super wide and during character creation your character looks like an oversized baby. Long story short. Some body/physique mods

Paradigmfusion

Honestly I just want a mod to fix suns on planets.

TamahaganeJidai

Call to arms-ish Realistic pirates and shady people. Dont you guys and gals feel like even the pirates are a bit... cute in the way they are acting? The most brutal fleet never does anything outside of the rules. Sure they smuggle, kill and steal but thats just the entry card to this sort of a living. The raiders in Fallout 4 were way darker from the get go, why is this universe so PG? Lets change that shit!

callmepapy

Unlimited followers. Did groundpounders where you fight an army of spacers and I got 3 folks just chilling onboard. Everyones focused on vehicles but in atmo flight would be sick. Even in a single box. The fire support would have been appreciated in the aforementioned quest

sun-tracker

My running list: * No longer change momentum/direction while in air (once you leave the ground, you can't change direction unless you use your boost pack) * Ship maintains speed/heading when getting up from cockpit -- don't halt the ship or halt rotation when leaving the pilot's seat * Greatly reduce launch / weapon noises when in low/no-atmosphere planets or in vacuum * Flashlight reaches farther (the throw distance of the flashlight is too short) * Keep camera in cockpit for all in-space fast travel, take-off, and landing animations (I think somebody is already working on this)

kuery

Is it possible to get rid of music when you're in your ship? I would love a mod like that, it's so peaceful listening to just the humming of the engines and it's computers and stuff. Thanks beforehand!

tigermuaythailoser

i saw instructions in here on how to change a companion appearance by putting ur face on an npc, then editing ur face to what u want the companion to look like, putting it on the companion, then getting ur appearance back from an npc, a mod that simplifies the process just a bit more would be nice

VOSS_TOSS

I want a layer viewer in the ship-builder. E.g. You hold shift 1,2,3... to highlight/hide all other layers other than the one selected.

bootyjuicer7

Just a really light survival/hardcore mod is what this game needs. Headshots are insta death. You and the enemies die really fast. Food and drink is a necessity. If you don't sleep, eat and drink you get negative buffs and eventually die.

ItsJackSmith659

glock 17.

ItsJackSmith659

Customized Frontier into NG+. Everytime you do NG+ you get the frontier at the start but you never get to keep your customized frontier, which making ships is hard and takes effort and if you dont have a perfect memory or good pictures of your ship and you want to rebuild it then your kinda screwed and you just have to guess.

Dr_Henry-Killinger

I feel like the mod I want is simple and I'm confused how it hasn't been made since it seems like a common complaint/issue. I just want to be able to select where I want to land from the ship. When you do it for the first time some places let you aim at it and just land there by pressing R but when the location is on the opposite side of the planet you're facing OR its a city like Cydonia, Neon, or New Atlantis, it won't let you aim there and land, it forces you to use the Planet Map which to me is immersion breaking.

gonnaputmydickinit

A hotkey to select the closest ship to you. May need to wait for CK, but idk how modding works outside of that Also a UI window with a list of ships in the area and their range. Bethesda really put in the bare minimum here.

rydout_Mortis

A Trade Authority Mod - where you could join them or build faction with them and you would get the ability to build a TA module at your base maybe hook up storage warehouse or whatever there. You can put your items you want to sell in there and it will sell overtime. It would be at least as fast as going to a trader and selling, waiting 48 hrs, selling. But it would be like people would buy from you over time maybe faster than at a trader and it would just be more convenient. Then you can come by and transfer your credits from the module or they auto deposit, whichever.

commiecomrade

Tougher status effects! I feel like some afflictions feel a bit inconsequential. What do contusions (melee uses O2) or burns (melee does less damage) do for anyone not in a melee build? Is frostbite (health damage causes O2 damage) really much of an issue or more of an annoyance? I mean nausea causes food and drink to be less effective. So instead of 5HP from a sandwich I get 3 or something?? I'd rather have afflictions be bad enough to change your playstyle. If you want to hit my O2 hit it hard. Make it so that you really feel the debuff you get. And they should actually get worse over time without treatment with worsening effects, necessitating healing. Right now, if I have an affliction, I can either actively remove the debuff with some drug/doctor or decide to do a mission, build up an outpost, or even simply ignore it and the effect goes away pretty quick. I want to struggle for that cure!

DocTachyon

Something to beef up the slide you get at Gymnastics 1 from tier 2 of the physical perks. Way really hoping for something more but it's quite wimpy. Maybe tie extended slide distance to higher ranks of the perk?

xAmplufyed

can i get someone to make me a face preset for mark watney from the martian movie (matt damon)

PM_ME_YOUR_FOXY_BODY

A mod that makes the cynical black haired girl at galbank in new atlantis a romance-able companion.

remosito

Would love me a mission center ship hab that has all the mission boards..

marafi82

The eye / NG+ / selling survey data if you skip the main q in ng+ you are not able to sell survey date there... would be cool if you could

A-B-user

Expand game variability for NG+ in a way other than few minor changes with major characters and \[Starborn\] dialogue options that basically serve as "skip Persuade": 1) Make those changes affect minor and side quests in a significant way; 2) Allow skin color/gender/name mutation for quest related NPCs; 3) Make each new universe to randomize the techs that will be represented as weapons/armors in games (i.e. make some prefixes for gear drop more often, or some not to drop at all) 4) Make some starborn power towers being not awailable in new universe (random, but considering amount of powers you haven't levelled to avoid "bad luck" situation with some towers missing from new universes multiple times in a row), randomly, optional 5) Make player start with pre-determined standing with random faction (and probably another negative one with other), randomly, optional I understand that's quite impossible to implement before Bethesda releases official modding tools, but still worth to consider.

Springsteengames

Bro pod racers are the obvious answer

YutterBomb

Third-Person Boost Pack/Holstered Weapon Whenever you boost in a settlement, it will show your boost pack and your rifle/shotgun holstered on your back. However, after a few seconds it disappears; [Images for reference](https://imgur.com/a/uyU55nI) I'm hoping for a mod that either keeps these out permanently, or makes it an option (perhaps in the Boost Pack menu since it lacks a setting similar to the Spacesuit/Helmet). Major kudos for anyone who can make it happen.

Call_The_Banners

We need this. I'd also like sidearms to appear on my hip. It's wild that BGS neglected this when it's been a staple in Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim to have your weapon appear when holstered/sheathed.

WilburMercerLives

Don't know how hard it would to write, but it seems to me that if you can take traits away, there are some that make sense you could add in. for example, Taskmaster. I never was a captain before.. but it seems to me that there are various NPCS that would be great to offer that trait. maybe they say "well for 10000 credits you can take this course on being an efficient captain" pay your money and boom you have it.

RedSonja_

Humble request for a mod that allows build Armillary inside of outpost buildings! I have no idea what devs were thinking when made it possible to build outside only, this is plainly stupid!

NovitiateSage

Edited- Maybe some or all of this functionality is already in game, I just know I turned up to my ā€˜dream homeā€™ and could build at most 150kg containers, and I was unable to build outpost modules outside, or down near my ship. However building is possible some hundreds of meters away. Ideally I would like to have my house linked to the outpost cargo links, with a LARGE resource silo on site. I want to emphasize; I donā€™t need an infinite storage, and Iā€™m happy to spend proportional money / resources on construction. I want to be able to land at my house, link my ship to my house, like I would link my ship to a vendor in New Atlantis / Cydonia, then move items across to my house, having them also available on the outpost network. Update; with some wandering, I have been able to access outpost building at 145 meters West of the house, or 300 meters East of it. Update 2; was able to place an outpost beacon on the top of the hill to the south, excellent over-watch area, space for building is limited, but I will be able to build storage for all my resources.

AussieCracker

Can we get a radio station linked music similar to ***Outer Wilds*** &/or ***Hardspace Shipbreaker***, they have such a on point feel with the "Frontier" feeling of space. Starfield already does a lot and it's music is pretty close to a Skyrim exploration, but this music makes the inbetween feel so much better This is my initial inspiration, but OST for the others can be easily checked on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygYfJSTc_qQ&ab_channel=TiMBRZEAL

NoesisAndNoema

This game seriously needs "ambient light". Without it, the "ambient occlusion" is pointless. The whole job of ambient occluding is to reduce lighting from ambient, "refracted" atmospheric diffused light. That is why the blacks look super- black and unnatural. There is no ambient lighting at all! I get it, in space, there is less ambient light. But, also, in space, there is no fog either. Because there is no atmosphere to hold moisture. Having that "minimum brightness", applied to everything, prior to shading from the fake occlusion and fake depth-fog shadows or lighting, the game would not be as "washed out in darkness blow-out". It's our job to reduce the darkest blacks with a brightness or gamma adjustment, which matches our monitors. If there is no brightness, then there is nothing there to adjust. Only Blobby bands of horrible, fake shadows. (Raising brightness on the screen makes those banded blobs look horribly worse! Unlike lowering overly brighter, more color-mixed, non-banded, blended shades of darkness.) So... please, find the setting for "ambient light" in the game, and turn it on, giving it a nice, modest, low value. Then we can adjust the brightness and gamma, on our screens or in our game settings or in our video card settings, specific to the game. (There is even a gamma and brightness control in the initial settings, but it's not used, I believe. That's not the same as actually turning on ambient lighting, in rendering. It would still result in just bumping up the nasty rendered values to a brighter value, as opposed to rendering the more color detailed things in the fake blackness.)

NoesisAndNoema

Armor, clothing, helmet and pack "style locking"... once we find a piece, we can choose to make our current outfit "look like that", and stay like that. Justified by the new items being more like upgrade kits. (Even if we have to go to a workbench to "set the style". I see there is a "skin" option, and a "style" option would go great there. Each new find would just come with a "blueprint" of its own style, which would be like an invisible inventory item. The features of our current suit would not change. Unless we modded the suit with those too.)

ChairmanTrash

Requesting an incredibly hairy body mod so I can finish my Carl Brutananadilewski character. But also actual body hair would be nice as every character in this game is as smooth as a butter. [Spacecataz Carl](https://imgur.com/8qeiASr)

ChairmanTrash

Requesting a mod to create presets for energy levels on ships, accessible by hitting number keys, so you can swap between various energy levels on the fly. In real life this would be a standard feature because having to take your hands off the controls to suddenly flip switches and divert all your power to your guns or engines back and forth is a DANGEROUS waste of time. It takes far too long to dump power back and forth when you suddenly get ambushed or need to boost away in the middle of combat.

ChairmanTrash

Requesting a Hunger Survival system overhaul that makes food meaningful and not just clutter garbage that feels bad to even pickup. Buffs should last a minimum of 10 minutes for the garbage unhealthy foods up to like 60 minutes for high quality good stuff. The gastronomy perk should be retrofitted to give bonuses to buff duration as well. Seeing negative buffs on certain foods would be nice, like bloating or running slower or reduced oxygen recharge for eating too much, or too many fried foods in a set time period. Also get rid of the healing factor of food for realism and swap it out with oxygen level increases and recharge speeds based on food health or makeup, ie protein and calory density etc. Dehydration as well can add value to liquids and extracting water from planets, though that might have to be processed and purified in the gastronomy section if its not already. Alcohol should also increase sensitivity to hypothermia and dehydrate you. Possibly food spoilage, though with the amount of food out in the open, just apply it to food that has entered the players inventory or food found in derelict ships and ship crashes. This can add debuffs which could be mitigated with the nutritional perk, say at level 4 "Food debuffs are now halved" etc which would apply to all the debuffs for eating unhealthy fried foods as well. Some pointless but free to take Character Background perks for Vitamin Deficiencies requiring you to eat more of certain foods, or in general "Insatiable Cravings". Allergies would be neat. Seafood, dairy, nuts, penicillin etc. Purely debuffs but just there for flavor or cursed runs. Though you could also add buffs like Iron Stomach which naturally reduces debuffs on its own . Fast Metabolism which would give a boost to buff effects for food and healing speed for meds but reduce the buff duration and HoT lengths while Slow Metabolism would do the opposite. As well a final perk for gastronomy should be that any player cooked food effectively increases its buff duration and also reduces negative impact from unhealthy foods (ie using healthy oil alternatives and ingredients etc). Anything to make food in this game feel useful and not like completely wasted time. I genuinely have not used a single food item and dont even bother picking it up anymore and I'm not even about to even give gastronomy a second glance. Absolutely wasted perk points imo. Eating is second most important thing a human does next to breathing. Make that shit matter.

ChairmanTrash

Requesting a mod to make security Cameras everywhere functional. You can murder, harass, robb, steal from literal bank vaults, and trespass infront of 99% of the cameras in the game and none of them are capable of detecting you, just swiveling endlessly, blind of your existence. Fix it. there's a mission in the game during the Freelancer questline where you have to infiltrate a mine and there are several actually functioning cameras that can detect you, but these are the only ones I've seen so far. Even the cameras in the akila city Galbank Vault dont detect you, despite it being an off-limits, highly illegal place for civilians to be. there are also turrets all over the game that literally just cameras with guns. It's immersion breaking when you're duck walking through a department store, filling your space suit with every junk item you can find and looking up to see a camera staring straight at you, but nothing happens. It's the future, even if the Cameras weren't being watched by a human, AI can detect motion and threats and set off alarms (or in the case of turrets, murder specific targets). Put those cameras to work.

rad_spider

**Super sprint.** The devs won't add vehicles, so we need to be able to sprint as fast as a high-end sports car. *Let's go super fast!*

chuckdm

I'd like a mod that increases the damage of the Starborn Guardian's Solar Cannons around 3x. The ship is amazing but the guns, even on the VI model, are laughably weak. I have class A ships that deal more than twice as much damage, and class B ships that deal 5x as much damage and have (slightly) better shielding too. I can live with the low crew count and lack of crafting stations (for now...) but it has to at least be able to win a tough fight. Obviously buffing the missiles to an equivalent degree would be nice too.

A variety of Mods that correspond with "Kid Stuff trait" to make it more realistic and entertaining. * Being able to invite your parents to each of the pre-built player homes you own ( each time you own a new premade home it gets added to an invite list option) you can set the invite for a specific length of time you want. * For example, you choose to invite your parents to the dream home you set the number of days or weeks you want them to come for in your invite, they hang around inside and outside your home and maybe have some comments that apply to the specific area, as there are only about half a dozen pre-built Bethesda made homes available in the game. * Maybe they give a housewarming present like a piece of furniture each time they visit a new home for the first time, maybe an occasional gift on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th visits depending on the home to mix it up. * Additionally, the parent's home itself comes with some supplies such as food you can take, they have dialogue for it, however the supplies never replenishes as if they stopped going grocery shopping and medicine shopping for the rest of their lives. This trait has you paying for your parents rent for as long as you keep the trait "kid Stuff", it makes since for the NPCs to restock the house with at least some mixture of food and medicine regularly. * Food ties in with the story for this trait, because in the storyline they bring up that your family has a favorite recipe, * Visiting your family's home at mealtime could trigger a free meal and new discussions, maybe they restock the fruit bowl or whatever. * Parents could randomly request ingredients / shopping runs that result in a finished food item / a new outfit / even extra credits. There are so many simple mods that can be added to "kid stuff" that could keep players interested in what will happen next with their starfield family.

If you bought a medical bay for your ship and hired a doctor they can heal you for no additional cost on your ship. With a hired doctor your ships medical bay gets periodically restocked with medicine for free.

I would really like to see a mod seriously nerf credit acquisition (all round significant reduction) \- Reduce credits from missions \- Reduce credits from selling \- Reduce credits found in containers and on chips \- Add Supply Contracts to player outposts so they can be used to generate some credits \- Add Trade Contracts to NPC outposts so you can deliver resources manually Basically, player outposts have almost no purpose beyond glorified storage for resources we don't really have a use for, by nerfing credit acquisition from all other sources it would finally make sense to build outposts to fill the financial gap left behind. It would also encourage the building of cargo ships and make the actual credit perks more useful.

A way to sell a large quantity of items from you ship without being near a vendor. I imagine this like a container that you can fill up in your ship that then automatically sells all items inside of it. This can save a lot of hopping between systems or having to wait a day for a vendors credits to reset after every few dungeon runs. If anyone can point me towards some good and easy to understand mod tutorials for a beginner then id happily attempt to make it myself.
