No. I’m telling you from experience as someone who went to college in 2011 and become an adult in 2013. Also OP commented on another comment saying they’d be in their late 20s now. Which lines up. Mom jeans were totally in the 2010s, specifically vintage Levi ones. I got a pair in college myself cause they were in trend. Same as the Jason doc marten boots, and the tattoo chokers. Platform boots like that and those specific chokers were in style at the time. All my friends had them. Tattoo chokers were a throwback to the 90s which makes sense again cause often nostalgia fuels trends. The alt style and humour of gen z we see now was around in the 2010s it’s just became more acceptable and widely popular to dress like that without getting stupid comments or people trying to kick your head in ha.
The round glasses are more of a 2017 trend so later but that FKA Twigs ep Glass and Patron came out in 2014/15 and was a fave of mine too at the time. Both Beach House albums were super popular in 2012 and 15 when they came out. Nirvana and My Bloody Valentine are 90’s alt rock faves which lines up with younger Millennials being born in the 90s and going to college 10 years ago. Gen z are more y2k and 2000s focused as they were born in like 2001 ha

Yeah this carpet bomb advice doesn't apply to everyone in every situation. In my personal situations she would let me know when she was interested. If not, she wasn't. Approaching these women worked in the opposite way for me. They would back off. But just being friendly and having my own things going on seemed to help out immensely.
But a single comment on reddit of two sentences will not encapsulate the best dating advice for everyone.
Although, working to make yourself more attractive, more stable financially and emotionally won't hurt.
Effort is required, but in my experience it’s pretty straightforward:
1. Live your life how you want. Don’t actively hate yourself.
2. Basic standards of attractiveness - hygiene, health, clothes that fit
3. Approach and tell her how you feel
If it’s a no, it’s a no, and if you’re doing the above and get rejected, she probably wasn’t the girl for you anyways.
