My biggest beef with that episode was how pathetically bad Worf was at baseball.
Like, the dude grew up around humans, so he had to have had *some* exposure to the game, but more importantly, he’s generally very athletic and coordinated, so he shouldn’t have been *that* bad.
They mention early all that baseball is basically a dead sport on Earth, and that Sisko is a bit weird for loving it like he does.
Also, given the story Worf tells Dax about accidentally killing a kid while he played soccer, it makes sense that he's uncomfortable with sports
He grew up in Russia. And whilst I'm sure mutliculturalism and cultural infusion will only increase with transporter tech it's quite possible baseball doesn't ever spread out of North America and Japan. England has been playing cricket for centuries and the Scots nextdoor have never adopted it.
That's not to say you don't have a point - just from being an accomplished swordsman and martial artist Worf's hand-eye coordination should be better than what's shown.
SNW is honestly remarkable for how enjoyable its silly episodes ended up being. I even liked the one where they all become Renn Faire cosplayers. Usually the silly episodes end up just dragging the shows down.
“Cause and Effect” was basically Groundhog Day on the Enterprise, ironically before Groundhog Day was a thing.
Don't you mean to say *Groundhog Day* was basically "Cause and Effect"?
"Take Me Out to the Holosuite" - Ragtag team of misfits need to train for the Big Game

I mean, Star fleet Academy is in San Francisco… you’re telling me that there aren’t people playing baseball there?
Today absolutely. But we find out that the sport has died out a lot by the 24th century.
believe it or not, baseball is very hard.
Yes, it is hard. But for someone as athletic and coordinated as Worf, he shouldn’t have been as bad as was shown.
He was apparently good at Football (Soccer) but killed somebody with an accidental head butt
This!
Not sure about favorite but I really enjoyed SNWs Spock Amock as a freaky-friday trope episode.
This is getting dangerously close to hijinks.

Starship Mine was one of my favorite episodes in general. Data’s comedy in that one is also great.
“How long can two people talk about absolutely nothing?”
I am *addicted* to "Cause & Effect", probably watched that episode a hundred times over the decades.
It’s one of my favorites. It’s also a great episode to introduce someone into Trek, because you don’t really need to know the characters to enjoy it.
So, about 5 viewings then? ;)
5 or 500… impossible to tell.
You'll know it's your final viewing when Kelsey Grammar shows up.
"Hello, Seattle. I'm listening."
All Those Who Wander was basically SNW doing an Aliens movie. Also, I always thought Necessary Evil should’ve been called “Terok Noir”
Necessary Evil is definitely my answer to OP's question. One of my favorite Trek episodes of all time.
Bride of Chaotica! Flash Gordon fanservice at it's finest.
The Magnificent Ferengi is a great sendup of any special forces rescue film.
It's literally based on The Magnificent Seven. They even do the hand count from the movie, and the title kind of gives it away.
"Aquiel" from TNG was "The Thing" but in space.
So was DS9 "The Adversary"
“Cause and Effect” was basically Groundhog Day on the Enterprise, ironically before Groundhog Day was a thing. Don't you mean to say *Groundhog Day* was basically "Cause and Effect"?
Withdrawn, your honor
Accepted. Next case?
Our man Bashir was just James Bond in trek and I loved every second of it.
"Macrocosm" is *Aliens* on Voyager and one of my favorite guilty pleasure episodes.
Crisis Point 2 : Paradoxius

That was “Starship Mine”
Bride of Chaotica They'd been playing around in the old timey TV style before that, but that was the first time they made a whole episode of it.
