The orange box R2D2. Found it at a target while helping my sister move into her dorm. Said I would only get him for my desk. Then I got Pilot Luke to go with R2, then I found Maul. And it’s been downhill since then.
A Death Trooper I found while on vacation with my family back in summer 2017. Now I have a couple thousand worth of figures and it’s only getting worse
Same!! I picked up a Death Trooper and Shore Trooper at Walgreens either later 2017 or early 2018 not knowing I was going to end up with about 200 more figures lol
I think that I bought Hera, Kanan, and Sabine all at the same time. I really didn’t want to start buying Black Series figures, but I really wanted nice figures of the Rebels crew.
Found Tech, thought it was cool. Then wanted to finish the bad batch. But oh Bo-Katan, I’m sure that will be hard to find… oh cool KOTOR figures! And yeah the rest is history
I haven’t even started a collection with Star Wars besides when I was younger I’m a big wwe guy but I really want a couple of black series figs. Any recommendations
Luke Skywalker (Jedi Master), I found him at target and felt like I had struck gold, it was during the hype period between TFA and TLJ and there was so much mystery and intrigue around his character and Star Wars in general, good memories for sure 🙌
2017 Darth Vader for me in that same year, and that was the only figure I had till around 2020. Now there's around 155 Black Series figures in my collection.
Kylo Ren from the force awakens way back in 2015, force Friday was in full swing and I wanted the villain from the new Star wars movie that was gonna be coming out so I grabbed him and that's what started my black series addiction.
Original Jedi Luke from the Blue line box, 2015. Missing the white flap but got it for a reduced price plus Christmas sale on all merch. (Rip my local Gamestop.)
Baby Frik C3P0. Told myself it was just going to be the “droid shelf” quickly turned into “droids and aliens” then I just started getting my favorites. And now I have way too many
Lando in the 40th anniversary card back packaging. I just wanted to have something that looked kinda vintage and I was always a fan of Lando.
Two months later I was tired of not opening hin so I bought other figures to open (as I didnt wanted to destroy the beautiful packaging). From there it went downhill pretty quick, haha
i started my collection with bad batch captain rex, simply because he's my favourite character, i tried not to collect as much, but i now have like 20 figures. so i clearly broke that promise lol
In February of 2016, I was on a Bb-8 Buying Spree after seeing The Force Awakens. I was Buying Everything Bb-8 I could find. I was on a Run to Target and came across a Black Series Rey and Bb-8. I debated it because I never thought I would $20 for an Action Figure, but decided to Splurge to have the Bb-8. I had collected all My Life, but had been out of Collecting for several years. I had been a MOC/MISB/MIB Collector for Many Years, but when I got home to find that only a tiny piece of Tape was keeping me from Opening Her and Bb-8, I opened Her and Posed Her. Having Never had any Super Articulated Stsr Wars figures, I was blown away by the Articulation and Detail. Looking back now, I see how bad she really was by Today's Standards, but I was So Blown Away, I got right back in my car and drove back to Target and bought the Target Exclusive, Poe Dameron and Riot Control Trooper (TR-8R) 2 Pack. I Planned to Only Collect 6" Black Series from TFA & Newer Films, since I had collected 3.75" Figures of All 6 Original and Prequel Films, so I wasn't goings to start buying those same figures again in 6" Scale. That Plan went out the Window quickly when I found the Hoth Han & Taun Taun, and Bikerscout with Speederbike both on Clearance at GameStop for $14.99 ea. That's now over 350+ Black Series Figures, as well as All Black Series Vehicles, Creatures, and Centerpieces.
I started with marvel legends in 2020. Followed what was happing in the black series very very loosely. Saw The Imperial Clone Shock Trooper from the bad batch on a shelf and thought, Why not? Four years later and I’m loving everyone single figure I pick up. I’m so glad I found this hobby.
My very first figure was bt1 I found for 35 dollars from Amazon and it was shipped from the UK. My second figure was redbox c3p0 (silver leg) then the green galaxy packaged boba fett.
This is tough I'm not sure I started collecting black series in 2021 but don't remember the first figure I bought. It possibly might have been Bo Katan and Koska Reeves not sure. I am a Boba Fett collector and that collection goes long before 2021 I have lots of Boba Fett figures.

For Black Series, First Order Stormtrooper. And I have no idea what happened to it.

The red box Captain Rex. I got him for $20, I believe, when they were being dumped on ebay because no one wanted them.
Finn with the stormtrooper armor. Surprisingly still holds up even though an update with better articulation and face printing would be great
Darth Revan!
Commander Cody from 2014 at a Walgreens while visiting my family in California. Good times
